Hello, my name is Jason Sanchez and I am here to give this shop my highest recommendation. I hate dealing with insurances and car issues but they made it easy. they stayed in contact with my insurance, they stayed in contact with me, and they helped me with genuine care. I recommend this shop with all your car needs. I got in a bad crash a few weeks back in my tesla model 3 and they fixed it better than I had it before. I am so happy with my experience with unique auto body! this has been my go to shop for years and they never cease to impress me. I got in a bad accident a few weeks ago and took my car straight to Unique and in just a couple weeks I got it back with a perfect fix. they kept me updated the whole time through texts and calls. they have a wonderful staff who help you through the process with patience and kindness. A great genuine experience every time. I highly recommend unique auto body!
Look at their low reviews and you'll find...deflect deflect deflect. I went to pick up my car, they collected first, then told me it wasn't ready. Okay, misunderstanding maybe. Came back the next day at closing as they said. Again, it isn't ready, we wait 40 minutes for them to hurry and clean. When car comes, the front windshield was cracked right through the driver's view, not exactly unnoticeable. I brought it to their attention. They go look at their pictures and return with "we'll look into it." (They didn't show me because there was nothing to see...yep! Mine shows nothing too.)
The sensors were still flashing in error, so it had to return again to the shop. Then texts started. "Must have been the weather, then it's a rock chip." I stood in their lot looking right at it with them and they didn't know what to say just like I didn't. There's no definitive on how a window breaks, but I am not in possession so I don't know how I am responsible.
Finally they call to tell me I need to buy the windshield, they will help and calibrate the sensor,(gee thanks) but it's not their fault. I was told to call the insurer and see if I can while them into coverage?
I come out-of-pocket because I need my car after 2+ weeks on a four-day promise. As I run my card they come and I'm told "Sometimes crap happens" and they want to shake on the deal. No way! I have heard all your rationale, and made payment on what I don't believe.
Absolutely frustrated I start to tell them about my experience. How they put my hammerd-out damaged licence back on my new front grill with rusty sheet screws even though I asked them not to reinstall. They heard none of it, didn't happen along with anything else...Justin is so bent on defensiveness anything you think doesn't matter.
If you deal with Unique and "crap happens" you will lose. They have it figured out just waiting to tell you about it.
This is an exact and fair depiction. They will post some rationalized apologetic insincerities on this. It's all a fabrcatin that suits the story you tell yourselves... Go ahead...it's what you do.

This place is great! I recently took in a car that was rear ended on the freeway. It was grim. I worked with Lorren while the insurance decided if it was going to okay repairs or total it out. Lorren was very communicative and helpful through the process. The insurance did ultimately decide to total the car so we didn't get any repairs done. But I can assure you should I, or anybody I know, need some bodywork done, I will indeed recommend Unique Auto Body!! Great Experience!!
I brought my 2016 Ford Fusion to Unique Auto Body after a rear/door-related accident on July 9, 2025. The estimate was about $2,315, and they took the car in for repairs, but the entire process was a mess.
What went wrong:
• Multiple delays: The driver-side door caused delays three separate times, pushing back completion repeatedly.
• Door issues: At first the door wouldn’t close without manually lifting it. They eventually “fixed” it, but now I can hear much more road noise than before — clearly the sealing or insulation wasn’t done right.
• Window not reset: After reinstalling the door, they didn’t even reset the window properly, leaving me to deal with yet another problem from their repair.
• Unresolved problem: My A/C started bubbling after the crash, and that issue was never clearly addressed.
• Careless handling: They wiped down the inside of my windshield without asking, and now it’s permanently foggy/hazy — something I’ll either have to live with or pay to fix.
• Poor communication: I had to chase updates instead of receiving consistent communication.
While the paint match looks okay, the repeated delays, new problems, and lack of clear ownership left me frustrated and doubtful about the long-term quality of the repair.
Overall, I would not recommend Unique Auto Body. If you want timely, professional service and repairs done right the first time, look elsewhere.
This was our 3rd visit in 3 years. This time for a used car we bought with some damage. The rear and front bumpers weren't secured properly. The back had slid down 3 inches.
I asked how to secure them, and they gave me options, not just “replace”
They were able to secure front and back for under $200, which was what they had quoted.
We've found them to be honest, reliable, and not just pushing the most expensive.
I hope not to be back for a long time, but when I need it, I’ll go here every time!
My new go-to body shop. The customer service was incredible, they helped me navigate an extremely confusing process dealing with someone else's insurance. The work they did was really well done, they left my campervan looking brand new. Shout out to Kenny Pham for being my point person and keeping me updated throughout the whole repair process and answering any questions I had! I would highly recommend this shop.
I brought my car here to get the front left end, bumper and tires fixed after an accident a few weeks ago. My car looks great. All the damage is fixed. I believe their time management and communication was very well. They told me my car would take 2 1/2 weeks to get fixed. It was done in a week and a half. They stayed in contact with me and updated me on the process of my car and when I should be expecting it. However, I think the techs should take a little bit more careful and mindful of how the property to someone else is treated. When I picked up my car I noticed black hand prints and dirty spots on the inside beige roof of my car. When I got my keys my key chain was broke off and not there anymore. It wasn’t taken off it was broken cause the chain was snapped in half and missing the main part. There’s a small dent in the back passenger side door, almost like an another car door was opening and swung into it. I understand these are small materialistic things/items. But it’s someone’s property that is completely discarded and no acknowledgement for anything.
Had a slight mishap with the roommate’s car and needed some work to the back of my Stinger. McCall was super friendly and easy to work with! Kenny did a great job and left my car looking like nothing had ever happened! They even cleaned the inside of my car as a bonus! These guys are awesome and I will be sending anyone I know their way!
We had the best experience with Unique Auto! From the estimate to picking up our car driving it back home.
They were the best price from three other estimates we received. They kept in great contact with us keeping us in the loop.
They did take a little longer than hoped, but explained that our mechanic went home sick in the process of fixing it. They were also willing to work with us on what we wanted ro fix.
The best part was when we picked up our car, it looked brand new! They detailed it inside and out!!!

We have used Unique Auto Body at the South Jordan location twice. Both times were exceptional! This last time I got rear ended . Within one week of the accident my car was fixed. All expenses were covered by the party that hit me. The car looks amazing. They even detailed the inside of my car. Will always recommend this company. A big thank you for unique for taking care of my 2021 Subaru outback. I had to go out of town and needed my card so they helped make it happen for me. Hopefully I don’t get in another wreck, but if I do I’m taking it here.
I had recently just bought my Tesla when I got rear ended by a guy on his phone. I was recommended to unique to get my Tesla fixed there. Thank goodness I did! I worked with Justin and he was great. The text updates were perfect and kept me up to speed. I would say my Tesla looks better now than it did before. Thank you Unique!!
I would not recommend Unique Auto Body to anyone. They had my vehicle for over five weeks, and when I finally got it back, it was returned with a missing hubcap, low tire pressure, and major repairs that were missed. I was told everything had been fixed and that the car was good to go, but that was far from the truth.
Shortly after, my car started making concerning noises.
They dismissed it, saying it was nothing--but after taking it to Toyota for a second opinion, I found out the issue was the differential, another major repair. I was also told my upper oil pan was cracked and leaking oil, a repair that alone costs around $3,000.
Thomas was not pleasant to work with--he was dismissive and unhelpful. And their manager, Justin, didn't seem to care at all or take accountability for the poor service. The lack of communication, poor workmanship, and inability to fix basic issues made this whole experience beyond frustrating.
I had to take my car elsewhere just to get honest answers and proper repairs. Avoid this shop if you value your time, money, and safety. They do a terrible job and show no accountability for their mistakes.
This place came highly recommended for fixing and repairing Teslas. I have a black Tesla that I mangled up the driver front corner lights and all.
Their service, the repair. And everything was wonderful Real big thing is the communication from the second your car is in there, them texting me, letting me know where they were in progress on the repairs. They never left me in the dark. The car was done when they said it would be done. Even though I had added several things for paint while they had the car in there. Jake was the gentleman asigned to my project. He saw it through from beginning to end was easily accessible. Excellent customer service. I will always use this company, and highly recommend them.
Unique did an amazing job! I was in a car accident and needed the front end of my car fixed. It looks and drives beautifully. The communication and customer service was 5 Stars, as well. And they worked with my insurance seamlessly.
Picked up my car dirtier than when I Dropped it off. They left an Awful scented thing in my car that almost gave me anaphylaxes on the way to work. I still can not breath in my car!!!! They threw away a very important car part and acted like it was no big deal. When I could be left stranded somewhere without it. There was Dirty Finger prints all over my dash. It looked like they had gone threw the whole car looking for something to steal. SHOCKING!!! HONESTLY!!! They treat women like you do not know anything about cars. My family has now had 3 vehicles repaired at Unique in South Jordan. Our 2019 Tesla Model 3, our 2017 VW GTI, and our 2021 Kia Soul. They are meticulous at what they do. Would recommend Unique for any body work needed.

I can't say enough about the fantastic service I received at Unique Auto Body. They were upfront and transparent from the start, providing a range for the quote ($250 to $1,100) depending on whether they could reuse parts, which I really appreciated. Turns out, they were able to fix everything without needing new parts, saving me money.
Not only was the issue fixed back to the original state, but my car came back looking brand new inside and out—super clean beyond my expectations. I've used Unique Auto Body with several other larger jobs but what pleasantly surprised me this time was how well they took care of me even on a smaller project. I highly recommend them for their honesty, expertise, and exceptional service!
Unique went above and beyond to make my experience perfect. From dripping my car off and having a rental. They worked fast and worked with my insurance to cover everything related to my incident. Even a few things I didn't see. Couldn't be happier
I was sent to Unique Auto Body in South Jordan by my insurance company for accident damage that needed to be fixed. It was a good experience up until I went to pick up my car and the damage was not fixed correctly. A part that was ordered for said car was not ordered correctly. No one working at the shop even noticed it was incorrect so they installed the part anyways. I received a text from the company Friday morning saying my car would be ready for pick up after noon, upon arriving to the shop and inspecting the work that was done I was the one who noticed that the part was not correct, the guy who was in charge of the workers repairing my car didn’t even notice! This lead to leaving my car there longer than it should’ve been to get it fixed correctly. Because I put my trust into this repair company to fix the damages correctly the first time, I was then left without a car for the weekend. Sadly I dropped off my rental before going to pick my car up. After finally going back again to pick up the car I was still not fully pleased with how it looked, where they had to fix their mistake and paint the correct color on the car part it was done sloppy. Overall very displeased with the service this company provided for me and I’m thankful I didn’t have to pay for it myself but sad that my insurance company had to pay for services that weren’t done correctly in the first place. The only reason I’m giving one star is because the ladies at the front desk were very kind, unlike the repair guy named Justin who could barely choke out an apology that he was in the wrong from the beginning! Not to mention when I called to ask if I could come back again to pick my car up later on because I had plans I was given attitude from him…I would’ve already had my car if it was fixed correctly by you the first time!!
Came by Unique this morning due to my right front headlights going out. I waited less than 5 minutes before Lauren at the desk had a tech named Nate looking at my car. Not only was it a simple fix (one bulb has jiggled loose, the other had broken) but Nate quickly swapped out the bulb for no cost and sent me on my way. Extremely friendly, quick, and didn't try to find extra reasons to charge me. Excellent shop and I will keep coming back!
I was worried by the few one star reviews about communication issues, but that was not my experience at all. I got text message updates daily. The work they did looks amazing! And, I was shocked to get in my truck to find it detailed inside and out! I was so happy. Would highly recommend Unique.
I would recommend this place to EVERYONE I know! I am beyond satisfied with their work, Will Ulloa went above and beyond to not only make my experience as amazing as it was but he made it very personable as well. From the second I walked through their doors up to the moment I came to pick up my car their customer service was top tier. My car needed a hood latch and radiator support replacement because the hood wouldn’t close all of the way and was only being held by the secondary latch. He made sure to get the parts my car need from the dealership (brand new) and got the dealership to price match those parts for the same price as used parts to make it more affordable for me. Not only that but he also made sure that they got the inside of my hood completely wiped down clean PLUS a detail clean which was very much needed free of charge! I couldn’t possibly say enough about this place. When I tell you I have never been this satisfied with work being done on my car, I am not lying! When I picked up my car I felt as if I was getting a brand new car, I was smiling uncontrollably. With all of that being said, if you are looking for a place to take your car… take it to Unique Auto Body if you want an amazing experience like mine was! :)))
Easily got a quote to replace my bumper since the part that was holding the bumper in wasn’t reparable. Came back a year later to get it replaced after all. They worked fast and it looks great now! No more duct tape residue either.
