February: Jade was absolutely fantastic. Before starting, she was incredibly meticulous and thorough when marking the placement. She welcomed our input and made sure the placement complimented my facial structure. When I asked to see different placement options, she happily re-marked it so I could compare. During the actual piercing process, Jade provided multiple fidgets, communicated calmly, and walked me through every step. She pierced my vertical labret efficiently and smoothly. There was no unnecessary movements or pain! It made the entire experience feel so smooth. I absolutely love the placement and how the vertical labret compliments my face.
Edit: my vertical labret has healed wonderfully and still looks amazing.
May: Mary has been absolutely amazing! After my original experience with Jade, I walked in early May for a nose piercing. Mary was available and did an amazing job. She was calm, confident and efficient. She listened to what I wanted and I absolutely love the placement of my nose piercing. I had such a good experience that I came back two weeks later to get a neck dermal. Mary made the dermal process extremely easy. She was efficient and incredibly helpful. She took her time marking the spot, even shifting the lights to make sure it looked absolutely perfect.
Overall my expertise at Dermal Decor has been fantastic and I love all 3 piercings that I have received at this location. I highly recommend.
I walked in for a belly button piercing, no appointment and Sas was able to help me right away! I was quite nervous and she made me feel so comfortable, she chatted with me like a friend and made me feel right at home. She made sure my piercing was perfectly centered, talked me through the whole process as we went, and even gave me a stress squishy to squeeze during the piercing! I could tell she genuinely cared about the quality of my piercing and giving me all the information I need for a good healing process. She was awesome! I’ll definitely be back!
Jade is literally incredible. My daughter got her septum pierced from someone else she found and it was absolutely HORRIBLE and wrong. We went straight to Dermal Decor and Jade instantly took my daughter back into the room and removed it. She explained everything that was wrong and was so kind and caring with my daughter. We absolutely will only be coming back to jade to do any piercings. This company is so amazing and clean and professional and we have nothing but good to say about it and everyone there
Love these Gals so much! I had a dermal that had significant lift and needed to get it fixed. I had let it go for far too long as a previous shop I had went to refused to help me Because of this I was going to have to have it removed. Jade removed my old dermal quick and almost painlessly. She put in a new dermal close to the old placement for me and also did a new chest dermal for me that I am obsessed with. Can’t say it is pain free as they are literally putting needles in you but it was super fast.
At the same time she did a cute nose piercing for my 16 year old daughter. My daughter is quite the whimp when it comes to pain but Jade did it so fast she barely felt it. Placement was perfect.
The place is immaculate and makes you feel right at home. Jade is super quick and makes you feel completely at ease. We were just walk-ins and were lucky to be squeezed in as they are pretty busy. Pricing is super competitive. Highly recommend them for any piercing you are looking for.
They were so kind and helped me understand the ins and outs of my helix piercing. She replaced my original very gently with no discomfort. Very knowledgeable and will be returning for future piercings!
Came here as a nursing student visiting from Oregon who forgot to swap her piercing out to a clear piece before classes. I was immediately brought back, and she was so helpful and explained what sound I would hear next as she was taking out my stud. She did the swap for free (I did have my own clear piece) but I appreciated how fast they got me in and out, and not charging for the switch. :)
best piercing studio ive ever been to - for reference ive had 3 piercings done before my visit here, all from different artists. the care and explanation that was put into my piercings made the whole experience so much more comfortable and overall fun. my piercings were pierced even, all questions were answered judgment free, and it was a very safe environment - not to mention the most affordable prices ive ever come across. will be forever recommending this place to everyone ! thanks for the sweet nose piercings :)!
I saw Sas, for a walk-in appt. She was so kind and made me feel at ease despite my nerves. She made a very good impression she answered all my questions thoroughly, described the process of the piercing, provided after care knowledge and was so cool. This is my new go to studio. <3

I can here to get three body piercings. I called the day prior and spoke with Jade (with the strawberry hair) who amazingly helpful and understanding. Answered all my questions without any prejudice or judgement.
When I came the next day to get my piercings done, she genuinely excited to see me. She guided me through the entire process. She was very meticulous with her alignment and took her time making sure everything was perfect and symmetrical. She was effusive, conversational, and turned what would have been a nervous experience into a fun and exciting adventure.
I will absolutely come here again and will absolutely recommend this to anyone who lives in the south part of the valley. I truly felt taken care of and did not feel rushed during any part of the process. I left with excellent care instructions and a ring pop!

Jade at Dermal Decor in South Jordan is amazing! My boyfriend and I brought one of our boys in to get his ear lobes pierced, and Jade was so sweet and easygoing, she made all of us feel comfortable and at ease. She was incredible with our boy, and because of that I ended up getting a cute new piercing too! She explained aftercare thoroughly, and both piercings are healing beautifully. I’m already planning to go back, she’s officially my new go-to piercer!

Jade was incredibly helpful the first time I came in to get an infected piercing checked out. I decided to come get pierced by her and it was such a great experience. The quality of jewelry and sanitation was top notch and her studio is such a great vibe. Highly recommend being pierced especially if you’re a student! The discount is great and worth it!

Both Sas and jade are amazing! First time i came jade helped me remove jewelry and explained every part to me. Today I came in and sas did my piercing and jewelry, she was super patient, caring, and funny. She also explained everything as we went and was really reassuring. Cute waiting area as well with a wide variety of jewelry to select. Highly recommend!

Awesome experience. I wish I had gotten the name of the gal who helped me. I was able to replace three pieces of jewelry for $60, and all you pay for is the jewelry itself. She was very knowledgeable and inviting—left me feeling immediately comfortable. It’s also close to my house, so that’s a plus! Thanks so much, and I’ll be back for sure!

My piercer was sooo nice. We chatted for over an hour and she helped me figure out what piercings worked best with my ear anatomy. I ended up getting a double conch and a tragus piercing, they both went super smooth and the day after aren’t bugging me! They’re the best and so fun to talk to I 100% recommend!
Went to Jade after contemplating getting me second ear piercing for the last year. She has a calming presence about her. She explained how she was going to do the procedure before she did my piercing. I love the placement she drew on my ears before she pierced them. She has a great personality and made my experience fun and exciting.
I got two piercings in one sitting with Sas, helix and conch. She also helped me find the appropriate hoop size for a helix I had gotten a year ago. I can't describe how much better my experience with with Sas was in comparison to my prior piercer. But it was miles better.
She is incredibly knowledgeable, walking through the best placing all the way to the best care and recovery process possible.
Its a shame I live states away, will go back if the stars align the next time I'm in Utah.
Sas is absolutely amazing. She did my helix for me a year ago, as well as helping me correct some awful piercings I got as a teen. Today she did my conch piercing and as usual, she was excellent.
There's nobody with a better eye for detail or more knowledge. Sas thinks about everything from care to long-term wear goals. I trust her so much I brought a friend with me, because i knew Sas would give her exactly what she needed.
11/10. I cant recommend Sas enough.
Jade was absolutely amazing with my daughter’s piercings! She took her time, explained every step in detail, and made sure my daughter felt comfortable the entire visit. You can tell she truly cares about her clients. I highly recommend anyone looking for a safe, clean, and professional piercing experience to go see Jade!
Sas!!! She is amazing. My friends and I came to her for some ear piercings and she noticed right away that some of the piercings that have been bothering my friends for months from a piercing party were not Angle properly. She put discs in them to help change the direction of the hole.
She knows her shit! I felt so comfortable because you can just tell she’s an expert and she’s passionate two of the best things to put together! I got three piercings no pain at all
Jade did my upper helix and mid-helix piercings, my best friend and I went for my birthday to both get pierced. I had concerns because another piercer did it a few years ago and it got infected because it was done wrong.
Before I even mentioned any of that, Jade was so thorough & addressed all my
concerns.
She helped pick out jewelry and made sure it was the right height & explained that we couldn’t do the same Placement as before because of my ear anatomy it’d get infected (which is another reason it failed at the other piercer).
The facility is extremely clean & she did an amazing job & was so kind. The jewelry is very high quality as well. I LOVE the pieces I got & what she mapped instead for placement! I felt so comfortable and she made the experience so much fun and personable!!!
I’ve been to a few shops in the past. But from now on I’ll only go to Jade, she also has 15 years of experience piercing. 10/10 experience!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!
I had Sas do my piercings, and Jade did my son's. They were both amazing! The piercings I got are supposed to be quite painful, but I just felt brief tugging. Sas took the time to make sure the placement would be completely even and straight, then ensured that I knew what she was doing, what to expect, and that I was ready. She was naturally calming. I will most definitely be going to her for all my other piercings.
My son finally decided that it was time to get his ears pierced, being afraid of the pain. He said that Jade was amazing! She kept him calm and, when we were both finished, he said it didn't hurt much at all and will go to her for any and all future piercings. This is incredible to hear from this teen.
And the pricing was great. When I got my daith pierced and a different studio, I had to buy the jewelry separate and paid the same amount for 2 daith piercings that I did for the 4 with the jewelry included, and I got much better service at Dermal Decor - plus a card for each of us that gives a discount on either the next piercing or jewelry.
Jade was so sweet! She’s super experienced and so chill and nice and was really fast. This is a super experienced piercing studio, I definately recommend. I got a conch. Super fast as well
There are very few places I would voluntarily return to in earnest to be stabbed multiple times. In fact, I could count the number of places on one hand, and you could probably take a few fingers. Dermal Decor is at the top of the list.
Seriously, Jade does amazing work. She made me feel relaxed in a situation that I've felt nervous about my whole life (needles). When I got in the chair, I was as comfortable as sitting in my own house. First session was beginning of May, four piercings in my left ear. Got the itch for another round, so my second appointment was end of June, my left eyebrow and right nostril. Soon as I'm healed up, I'll be back for the left ear and another four piercings. Probably the other side of my nose, as well.
