South Jordan uptown is my FAVORITE! The staff is exceptional. They are always helpful, kind, and positive. The inventory is high end, top condition, and very well stocked. Very impressed with this location and how far they’ve come!
Literally sold 3 ZARA jackets basically new and a Zara cargo pant and got 18$… please do yourself a favor and go to Plato’s and not here! They didn’t even wanna do a return because I did a drop off? Yeah obviously they knew I wanted my stuff back
Bro, if the girls working here worked as hard and as much as they talk and gossip to each other, they’d get a lot more done. It took 1 of 4 girls over an hour to go through three bags of clothes that another lady was waiting on, this poor lady was equally annoyed at the visiting as we were. Then when they got to us they literally kept 4 things and it was overall an annoying and frustrating first time experience. But I know all the tea about who just got fired so I guess that’s cool.
I went there with only $50, and came out with 2 pairs of pants, and 1 pair of shorts, and still had an extra 5 bucks. The place is really great, stocked with great clothes that everyone will like, and they even color code the clothes together. So if for example, you were looking for black jeans, they're easy to find! They also have fitting room, so no need to guess your size, and as hinted earlier, really affordable!!
We started shopping with Uptown in June of 2025. We never leave empty-handed, and always have fun shopping and browsing. There's something for every adult, and the prices can't be beat. Can't believe how much I've seen, and purchased, that still has the original tags on it!
The staff are always friendly and helpful, and seem genuinely happy to help you, which can sometimes be rare, these days!

The girls there were very friendly and made the process of selling easy. There were some system issues that made the process a little longer than normal. However, they created a solution that made things work despite the issues.
This location is by far my favorite Uptown Cheapskate— they have great inventory and the staff on the whole is delightful. Shout out to Kenna for dealing with my endless questions and small talk when I sell there at least a couple times a week.
I want to give a shout out to Kenna— she has assisted me on several occasions, and I can’t stress enough how much I look forward to working with her when it comes to selling my gently used clothing/footwear/etc— this girl is always so very pleasant and polite guys, and she is always well dressed with a smile on her face— she is also approachable and willing/able to answer questions. Give this woman a raise!!
Went there this morning and the girls working there were super rude and didn’t take any of my stuff when half of it was new and part of it still had tags on it. I left there in the worst mood. Will not be returning to buy or sell. I don’t appreciate shopping somewhere where I’m made to feel like an inconvenience. Thanks but no thanks.
The person working the sell counter seemed annoyed that I was selling clothes. I saw SHEIN on the rack (half of the racks were empty) but they wouldn’t purchase my good condition Hollister and Levi jeans. Never offered a reason on why they didn’t purchase the items and seemed annoyed I was asking questions about it. Lowballed me entirely. If you want your items taken and given a fair offer go to the American fork location.
Love the store regularly but when there is a good sale it's horrible. I have maybe 5 items but have to wait in a hour and a half line because someone is purchasing 200 items.... I get it but maybe have more then one register or have a register that is 10 items or less on sale days. But the clothes are good
Called first, asked if need appt and said was coming in now. No mention wait is over an hour and you have to stay in store. Lack of customer service. Never going to sit in the store over an hour.
Such a fun location! I always get more than I bargained for lol. Great selection and super nice staff. Everything is labeled really well too and always in season. Totally recommend!
This is the worst store I have ever been to when selling clothes. I have come in multiple times and walk around to see what they are selling (a lot is not great condition and not the best brands). I came in with nice or higher end brands, great condition clothing. The first time they took my items and gave me $5!!! Only $5!! And I had to wait over an hour. Basically they stole my items and gave me $5. The most recent time they took nothing! Nothing! As they looked at my items I walked around and their inventory was not good, I was sure they would take my items. I will never go back to this store! Stay away!!!
I love South Jordan Uptown Cheapskate. I always find cute clothes, the story is very organized and the workers are so helpful. With everything being so expensive it’s nice to still be able to buy name brand clothing for an affordable price.
Note to anyone who wants to sell items at the South Jordan location: They do not take items if you bring them in bags to sell. You must have the items in tubs. Is this little detail on their website? No! But, they might be kind enough to let you dump the stuff you have sorted and folded into their bins. In addition, if you are planning on doing errands while they sort through your things, nope! You must STAY IN THE STORE. Are there chairs or a waiting area? Nope! Nice for people who can’t stand for long periods. Are they going to buy much? Again, probably not. They have a lot of inventory! If you walk away with more than 15 bucks for all this trouble, you have really scored! I will just donate my items to charity. I will do far better getting the tax write- off! Note to management: list all of the rules you have on your website!! To do otherwise is doing a huge disservice to your customers. The “no bags” rule is really an inconvenience. But, at least let people know beforehand!!
Love that I find all sorts of fancy brands here, and lots of cute jewelry! Not to mention there sales and products are constantly rotating. Plus you can donate clothing and get some cash or in store credit. Customer service is wonderful too, never had a bad interaction.
Loved my experience at uptown cheapskate in South Jordan yesterday. The store was clean, organized and the staff was amazing. They gave me more money for my items compared to other Uptown's. They were having their clearance sale and scored several high end items at 80% off. Also several nice dresses with tags still attached at 80% off.
I have both donated and shopped at uptown and I have loved all the experiences with them. Super relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff, good quality shoes and clothes. I’ve fallen in love with everything I’ve got from there and I definitely will be back.

The store is really clean and organized. Everything is color coded like a rainbow which makes my heart so so happy.
I found a few great rompers and shirts this time. Exactly what I was looking for.

11/18: I went here today for the first time and was really impressed with how clean and well organized the store was. The clerk that helped me was very friendly, and I liked that the store had a few new items along with all of the thrift items. There was a large variety of clothing, shoes, and accessories. I plan to go back soon since I didn’t have enough time to really see everything I wanted to, which is a good problem to have!
1/19: Stopped in today and again was super pleased with the selection of clothing and with the super sweet guys that work there! They were helpful and very friendly, and I got some cute new pieces for my wardrobe!
Love love love Uptown Cheapskate! I can trade in clothes I don't wear much for new ones. All brand names and in good condition for an affordable price. Got all this for $11 because I had some store credit.
