Rude vibe from the office lady’s. My first time here and they did not give clear instructions, after I was finished they took my ID and handed some cash without a receipt. I left feeling ripped off, I will stick with the redwood place.
I recycle my aluminum cans here, and I helped my friend drop off a broken dryer from their apartment. I would definitely recommend it! The folks working here are friendly, efficient, and helpful, I’ve never had a bad experience in months of going.

This is a good company, and I appreciate how helpful they are and how they conduct business. My only suggestion for improvement would be to offer more money when recycling.
The employees here that we dealt with were friendly and went above and beyond to help us. We had a small glitch with what we were bringing in and the guy working was happy to help us deal with it.
This place is awesome, the whole crew is great even when your being a space case and lock your keys in you car. They all helped me without a fuss nor did they complain. I love this place as it's a good way to make a quick buck with stuff laying around.
Very helpful and friendly crew. I’ve recycled other things in the past, but not copper, and they helped me to know how to separate everything to maximize my return.
Even though it was a special customer event, they were able to push us through very quickly. ^-^ prices were fair, and they even did very well sorting us out with all our different metal types and where to go to drop them. (: thanks guys! Hope you do this event every year. :D
The staff have always been super friendly when I go to recycle cans here. I really enjoy their yearly Summer Cash In when I can get a little more cash for my cans and treats. This place is great!
I was able to recycle various types of metals and got top rate for aluminum cans. The staff were courteous and helpful, but there was a long line and wait time.
Worked out great in and out in no time with treats and cash. Not sure about highest price of the year for my copper thought it was over 3 dollars at one point. Thanks for the heads up on the event.

Have used them for years. Probably the easiest place to work with delivering large loads of metal scrap. The employees are always around to help you get in and out quick.
Worst customer service in the world. Had no idea what I was doing and they didn’t even bother to explain, even called before I got there and was told they’d explain in person. Yet no explanation.
Susan and Kayla are the best always very helpful and knowledgeable about pricing. And Devon in the purchase bay is always helping me unload everything… there’s really no reason to go anywhere else. In my opinion
My kids have been collecting cans sincsEarth Day on 2019 and we've been bringing them to your center. We love it but today. I brought in 9 bags of cans and showed my digital coupon on my phone to the lady and she did not add it to our aluminum amount for the price very disappointed.
If I could give 10 stars I would!! The women that run the front as well as the superintendent inspector general with the long hair that always has all of his PPE on because he cares about the crew’s safety is a must! I bring all my dishwashers here and copper I find in the city. Thanks for the extra lunch money
I am an appliance installer. I have appliances that I can take here to get recycled for exelent prices. I have been coming here for almost 4 years. The staff are really nice. Thank you Wasatch Recycling .
I’ve been here a few times to get rid of metal from remodeling projects.
You weigh your vehicle or the metal you have, they’ll print you a slip, then you redeem the slip for cash in the front office.
The location is accessible right off the I-15 & 3300 South. Quick, streamlined place to get rid of metal, and pocket a few bucks.
Easier to get to, and navigate, than the city dump, and they pay _you_, rather than the other way around.
You can be in and out in 15 minutes if it’s not too busy
Very organized & fast. For smaller scraps/aluminum cans drive to the end of all the bays & stop before the “fried chicken” signage thing. A worker in reflective safety gear should approach you by then. Don’t worry, they are nice & kind of comical in an authentic way.
They will coordinate which bay for you to go to. Follow their instructions & go to your designated bay. There you will be greeted with someone to help. They will weigh everything out & give you ticket. Take the ticket to the east side of the parking lot. The room is small, I preferred to wait outside until the person in front of me was done. The ladies inside are kind & organized. Fast too. Make sure to have a valid form of legal ID.
The aluminum prices are not very generous. You won’t get as much here as other places. But based on my last experience at a place north of Salt Lake where I got ripped off… I was more than happy to accept the cash for the aluminum I brought to Wasatch Metal Recycling.
