I called and asked for a toe, and was originally told 60 to 90 minutes, which I was fine with. I had to get the car to a dealership and get back to work, and that would have had me just about on time.
I'm writing this after waiting for two and a half hours. First they took over the 90 minutes, so I called and was told the prior call was an emergency that ran over and it would be another 15 - 20 before they arrived. I called the dealer to let them know I'd be late for the appointment. Then, 20 minutes goes by so I call again. I'm told the driver is "just swapping trucks" and should be to me in about 10 more minutes. I wait 20. I call back. Now I'm told that they don't know why, but the driver who was assigned to me has taken another call, and there are no other available drivers, so I'll need to wait 90 more minutes.
I did what I should have done earlier: called around a bit more and almost immediately found another company who could pick me up in just 20 minutes. I'd have been back long ago if I did that to start with. Now my repair is delayed and I'm late for work thanks to this horrible service from Stauffer's. I wish they could have just been honest or accurate on any of my 4 or 5 calls with them, I'd have said I understood and gone with someone else before it ruined my day.
Never thought I’d give a tow company 5 stars the staff were genuinely some of the nicest people I’ve ever talked to. I Recommend this company to everyone I know!
Stauffers Towing, was amazing and took care of everything. My wife's car had broken down, the transmission had gone out and they were stranded on the side of the highway. She also had our daughter and 2 year old grandchild in the car. Needless to say it was stressful. I called Stauffers Towing for help. The dispatcher was amazing. She was very helpful, kind and professional. She arranged pickup of the vehicle and I was able to take care of my family and not have to worry about family and getting our car home at the same time. I can't say enough how amazing the dispatcher was. I feel horrible that I didn't get her name. You can only imagine how stressed everyone was at the time and then add a frightened 2 year old to the mix. Yep, it wasn't a good situation, but the dispatcher was on it. After getting home it wasn't long before I received a call from Patrick, the tow truck operator. He was amazing as well. He confirmed some information and soon after arrived at our home. He got the car unloaded we took care of payment. He gave me a receipt and just like that our day of adventure was all wrapped up.

I needed a car towed today. Staufers sent a quality driver who arrived early. His name was Rory and he worked efficiently while maintaining a pleasant conversation. I wish all tow truck drivers were more like Rory.
I don't know the name of the tow truck driver who drove me, but, he was amazing! So nice and kindhearted. I actually enjoyed the ride with him to the repair facility. I felt comfortable and he gave sympathy and had empathy. Just an amazing human being who truly cared.

2200$ for 115 miles towing just for bobtail!!!!!!! The greediest & worst ever!!! What a greedy clowns !!! Stay away from these greedy place!!!!! How they have over 4 stars reviews??? Probably friends & family members!!!! Just got two offers from other towing companies. 1250$ 1325$. But these clowns trying charge 2200$!!!
Well my late night Taco Bell run went south when my tire nicked the curb in the drive-thru and put a little hole in my sidewall… yep all my fault! but for what it’s worth…I don’t think most vehicles get along well with small drive-thrus man!! However, you want to know who I get along with?? Stauffers Towing & Recovery! I took my vehicle up the block close by to my friends knowing full well the tire was already compromised and knew I had a spare and the tools I needed… got my jack, the cheap black tire wrench that comes with the spare and of course… broke that cheap sob socket on the first jump... No ones up, my friend didn’t have a tire iron, so I called Stauffers and said: I got a question, how much would I have to pay for one of your drivers to bring me an iron, I’ll even put my spare on myself if it can save them the trouble and me some money? This amazing woman and dispatcher said: well I don’t think we’ll charge ya for that, I’ll have the driver call you as soon as possible and we’ll get you the help you need! Within less then an hour this badass of a man pulls up, gets the impact, and well as they say, the rest is history... Stauffers didn’t charge me when they had every right to… Got me and my vehicle back on the road and gave me some faith in humanity. Honest hardworking company with integrity, know-how and truthfulness. I will now be recommending them first and foremost to anyone I see that needs it! They just gained a place in my contacts list because I know who I’m calling first… Thanks Stauffers you rock!
Our truck broke down due to a transmission issue, and we called this towing service for assistance. Their driver arrived and disassembled the driveshaft (cardan). I’m not entirely sure whether that was necessary for towing, but I assumed it was part of the standard procedure.
After towing the truck to the repair shop on a Saturday (which was closed until Monday), the driver left without reassembling the driveshaft. I called the company and asked them to send the driver back to complete the job. They responded that it would be handled by the shop’s mechanics instead.
I explained that if the mechanics were to reassemble the driveshaft, we would likely be charged for it — and this should have been the towing company’s responsibility. They then told me it was part of their policy. However, no one mentioned this to me when I booked the tow. When I raised this, the woman on the phone simply claimed she wasn’t the one who spoke to me during the booking — which was not true.
This lack of communication and accountability is disappointing. Customers deserve to be clearly informed about what is included in the service and what is not. Transparency is key in any business.
My tire blew out on the side of the freeway, I immediately called Stauffer’s Towing and they were able to dispatch a vehicle within one hour. Super helpful, customer service was very kind, and overall experience made me feel very careful for. I felt like a highly valued customer. I highly recommend using this services.
I called for roadside assistance with Garffcare. This was the first time for me to use this service and I was extremely impressed with how easy the whole process was. Absolutely stellar business practices. Had a late night emergency and they got my family taken care of and didn't charge me. I wouldn't expect that in every case, but I'll be calling them first for anything in the future. Just straight up old-fashioned American good hospitality.
This is what I paid to move an excavator for less than 9 miles. $225/hour + 15% fuel fee, but they never mentioned that they would send a crane from another city which added 2 hours to the cost. They charge per hour so expect a super slow service.
Rory Schultz was very helpful and accommodating I have went through a lot with the dealership I bought my car from and when I had to get a tow for my third service in 2 months I was honestly not in the best mood and not only did he improve my mood and conversate with me on my struggles with the vehicle as well as give me advice he gave me a ride out to the dealership with him to pick up the rental vehicle. Very good experience I would have been screwed otherwise.
Rory picked up my car the other day. He was great to work with, very kind. I was professional in handling my vehicle and took his time to explain what he was doing and what would be going on. He called me after he dropped off my car and explained what the next steps were. Thank you!!
Was just watching the show, episode “weight is my enemy” you guys absolutely destroyed that trailer for no reason. Ripped the axles right out of it, crumpled the sides, broke all the centre braces, ripped the canopy off and probably twisted the frame. If I was the owner, I’d be pissed after watching how you guys pulled it out. You should have brought in 5-6 labourers with shovels or a mini hoe to take out some of that weight after they did that first pull and knew the weight would be an issue. The road traffic was dead so there is no reason that shouldn’t have been done.
That’s a walking floor trailer, and they aren’t cheap! Next time, bring in a mini hoe. If you did that, the trailer would have been saved.
I've unfortunately had to be towed a couple of times in my life, and Rory was by far the best driver I've worked with. Kind and professional, maneuvered his flat bed around in my tiny apartment parking lot like he was driving rally, and got the job done quickly. My car is a pain in the butt because it rides really low and unfortunately made it impossible to get the tow hooks attached as you'd normally see. But Rory problem solved and got my problem child on to the bed and securely wenched in for her ride to the shop for repairs. Truly above and beyond work! I'd also like to shout out the two women I spoke to in the office who were upfront about the pricing structure and ETA- you'd think it would be the norm, but it isn't, especially when delivered with courtesy. All around, I've had an AWESOME experience with Stauffer's and I'd highly recommend them!
Rory did an exceptional job of getting to the site where my vehicle was broke down. He took extreme care in loading the car onto the truck, explained what he was doing, and took great pride in his work. Also very pleasant conversation on the way to the repair place. Highly recommend this company and Rory.
The worst towing company ever. I hope nobody has to deal with this thieves ever, they use your bad moments to take advantage of the situation and charge crazy prices without any explanation, really bad service, I had a crash two nights ago and I was less than 10 miles from their yard, they over charged everything saying that the service was for 3 hours when it wasn’t and then the bill for the same day was over 4k this is insane, don’t ever fall for this, after we paid they were trying to take my truck hostage for their bad service, really wouldn’t ever recommend this company if you can read this, run away from them, it’s not worth your time and all things not to help they’ll try to do.
Riley was friendly and very knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem that a mechanic couldn’t yesterday. Gave us good advice and told us how to fix the issue! Definitely recommend him!
I had an excellent experience with Stauffer’s Towing! Cassie was incredibly helpful and a pleasure to speak with over the phone. When we blew a tire on our Escalade, I called three other towing companies, and none had the flatbed necessary for our vehicle. Stauffer’s came through quickly and efficiently. They were not only fast but also very affordable, which was a nice surprise. I couldn't have asked for better service during a stressful situation. Highly recommend them!

This week, our daughter was stuck in the middle of nowhere, in a bad situation after sliding off an icy road. Levi Hart was able to skillfully pull our car out of a ditch at 11 p.m. He was kind and professional, as we were in a panic. The car was in such a position, after he evaluated the situation, he knew he would not be able to pull the car out the way it went in. Due to his skill and knowledge, we were able to drive the car home, after Levi did a quick inspection to make sure it was safe to do so. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without Levi and Stauffer’s Towing.
Stauffer's came to my rescue early Sunday morning (when all the world was sleeping). He diagnosed my problem and gave me the option of towing my vehicle to a shop or following me over to Auto Zone for a new battery. He followed me there and then gave me a ride back home. Super friendly, easy communication. Six stars for saving me!
