Needed my son’s car towed to a repair shop from our garage. Missy sent Blaze out who was insanely nice and super talented about getting the car out of very tight 3rd car spot in the garage. Not only did he achieve it, but he was smiling and talking with us the whole time. Definitely will use them again in the future if ever needed. 10/10.
Tremendous towing company! I'm completely blown away by how they handled my emergency tow. Missy got a tow truck to my stranded son SO incredibly fast! The tow operator (Jaeden) was courteous, professional and even stayed with my son to ensure he was good to go. I was so moved by what they did for us that I called them back and got their names so I could specifically write them this review. I will never call any other towing service.
The two guys that came out were quick, friendly, and professional. Had my car break down in the middle of the road fairly late and happy I called these guys! Will definitely call for any other towing needs! Highly recommend!
After being given the run around by my roadside assistance for two hours I called AMR in somewhat of a panic because I needed a jump start quickly. They were not only at my house in less than 30 minutes on a Sunday morning, Missi could not have been nicer and more accommodating. I was incredibly grateful for her cheerfulness and she got my car back running in no time. 10/10!
This shop is amazing! I had an emergency with my truck while traveling for work. Blaze, the tow truck driver, was patient with me while I figured myself out to get my lodging in place for my 2 service dogs and I for the night. Then Shane came in on his weekend and fixed my truck up right quick so I could continue my journey safely. This service was outstanding, quick and gracious, making me feel cared for and respected. My truck was well cared for all around and I am so grateful to this shop for getting my needs taken care of smoothly. Thank you very much AMR Auto Repair Shop!

I’ve lived in SLC for 4 years with an old Landcruiser that needs to get checked out about every month so I’ve been to a lot of mechanics out here. FINALLY I FOUND ONE THAT IS AS TRUSTY AS MY HIGH EXPECTATIONS. Shane and the other mechanics here are awesome. I’ve had jobs done here small and large and they always do a great job and don’t overcharge at all. They will help make sure that your only doing what is necessary for the car to be maintenanced and never try to do anything extra to charge you an extra buck. 5 stars all day.
Had my battery die on my car. AMR came out and jump started me. They were priced reasonably. I also found out they have a mechanic shop. I will definitely be taking my car to them in the future
I have been using AMR as my mechanic and tow company for years. Shane the owner is great. And has always given me a good deal on any work he's done for me. Would definitely recommend.
I was visiting family, I from out of town and didn't know who I could trust to help me get my vehicle to a safe place. AMR was there to help in a stressful time to help me. They where there to tow me faster then I expected, also the driver Shane was very courteous, and informative of the process. Shane also took great care of my Traverse, and safety towed my vehicle to where it needed to be fixed. THANKS a bunch
I woke up and my car wouldn’t start. I called around and found AMR auto repair. They even were able to tow my car to their shop. Shane was able to diagnose the electrical issues I was having with my dodge dart. They were quick and competent. I had called around to their shops but they didn’t even want to look at it. AMR is going to be my new go to for any of my vehicle needs from now on
I was very disappointed as I called towing companies, none of them had any drivers available. Finally I called amr towing. The dispatch guy was very professional and courteous. The driver was also very prompt. I ended up having them take my car to their repair shop instead of the dealership like I had intended. It was the best decision I could have made. They diagnosed the problem, bad alternator and had it fixed in no time. I’ll be calling amr towing from now on

These guys are great! Went to SLC for vacation and hit a narly pothole that popped two tires! These guys not only towed my car, but waited patiently as one service center “acted” like they were too busy to help and then the driver recommended a far better service center and then waited to make sure I was taken care of!!
We were towing a trailer to the dump and the trailer's axle broke...not good. After getting hung up on by another towing company, AMR's Blaze and Jimmy were quick to come tow our still fully-loaded trailer (which was amazing that it was even possible).
They were very friendly, very professional, and willing to give advice as needed. My wife and I were amazed at how well they did their jobs! Thank you Blaze and Jimmy!
Shane was awesome! I called 5 other people and they couldn’t come till Friday. Shane came within 30 minutes and solved the issue in less than 5 minutes. He gave me suggestions and educated me on why my truck wouldn’t start. I don’t leave a lot of reviews but when there’s honest people that provide the service they claim, it’s nice. Thank you Shane. Highly recommend this man if you need help with your truck.
Called for a quote because sugar was put in my tank and was rushed off the phone! He stated "they can't do big jobs like that". Apparently they can't change a fuel pump, filter, or injectors. I can understand not being able to drop a gas tank. Plus I don't even need the work done I only needed a quote for the courts!

This business will lie to you to get you to use their service. I was told I could call to release my vehicle to the auto body shop yet when I did that they changed their story saying I had to come down in person just trying to get it in their custody longer to rack up storage fees. They said they allow over the phone release for someone that got injured only. Considering the technology we have today and knowing people that just got in an accident don't have transportation Id say their service is awful. What a way to add more stress to an already stressful situation! Plus the last on the phone was rude as hell!
So 11 oclock at night my radiator blew. Last tow service to call should of been the first. Only other answer yes i got was to b towed in the morning. Towed me 10 mi after a prompt pick up was only 100. Dude knows subarus! The owner is a kind man from my short expirience with him. Wouldnt hesitate to continue business. But utah is a far drive for a mechanic
I blew a tire on my trailer on I80. I called five places before calling AMR and none of them would come out or had the equipment to change my tire. Gary came out within 30 minutes, he didn't have the right part so he went and bought one, came back and changed the tire. Great customer service, fixed my trailer right up and can't beat the price. Definitely recommend!
Gary found my sisters car on Friday evening, over the phone with us after she broke down while visiting from out of town. He got to the car before the city towed it and was able to get it to a very good mechanic who got them back on the road, quickly the next day. He was extremely professional and responsive to our calls as we worked to figure out where she had left it. His invoice was very reasonable and we are so thankful for his quick response! This is an honest review. There service was poor and overpriced. Reps complained the whole time about weather, timing, difficultyness, and would not put my item where I asked, and in the end, they damaged my item! It was a shed. It was functional and nice before they picked it up. 30 minutes later they dropped it off and damaged the bottom, side, and door. Regret ever using them. They costed more than the item I purchased, and now I have to pay to have it repaired. The price they charged me in the end was much more >$125 than what they quoted in the beginning. These guys are dishonest.
Really good experience with these guys! My car died in a parking garage with low ceilings. After calling almost a dozen other companies that said they couldn't fit, these guys said that yes, they could help us.
Gary was very professional and personable. He let us ride in the tow truck with him, saving us from having to get an Uber. Not only that, he gave us a ride home from the mechanic's place where we dropped the car off. He also offered to help us carry a few things from our car that we needed to keep with us.
They might have been a bit more pricey than some of the others we called, but those other companies couldn't help us so we are happy.
I paid in advance and I wasn’t able to be at the dealership with them to get the car. I told the driver that he had to go to the service department to get the keys. It was all setup with the dealership too. The driver couldn't understand what the service department was. Ended up that they took my money and never towed my car. Never use these guys, straight up crooks.
These guys are awesome I had to get my car off private property before the place closed and I was at work and couldn't be there and they helped coordinate everything with me and took my card over the phone a day in advance but didnt charge til after the job was done. They were also the cheapest and least pushy out of all the other towing services I called..
Extremely slow service, full of excuses as to why small jobs take twice as long as what they had quoted me. They left the interior of the car full of mud, on the seats, floor, and windows. The interior also smells like gasoline after spending time here.
The manager also lied and said that he was giving me an additional part for free, no, that part was on the estimate and bill. I was also charged twice as much for what I was told the tow would cost. Whatever, I just wanted to get out of that place. I would not reccomend this place and will not return.
