What clients say about Utah Metal Works in Salt Lake City (UT)

Great people everywhere. Such friendly ladies in the office. Great workers in the yard. Extremely great prices on recycling, updated as often as needed to reflect the market. Any amount of scrap from a shopping cart full off cans, truck bed full of turnings, to a flat bed full of computer chips.

Great place to take metal and possibly buy metal things. Very friendly office. They make it very easy to recycle. You weigh your vehicle with the metal in it then unload it where they tell you and weigh it again. go into the office and they pay you. If you are taking in more valuable metal copper, aluminum etc. There is a different bay where you hand unload and walk in while they weigh it. You then get a ticket and take it to the pay counter and get paid. Remember to have your ID. If it's your first time and you have questions I've found the office to be patient and willing to help.

Maybe I just went there at the wrong time of the day for my first time, but their lot, and traffic of semis and forklifts if a huge joke. No directions on where to take stuff either. I was going to go inside the check-in building, but was honked at while scoping out the non existing parking spots. Good luck if you have never been there!
