Blew out 2 tires west of Archer City, called insurance who sent out this tow truck. Had an estimated time of arrival of 60-90 minutes. Driver called to verify location, then called again to ask how many people. I told him we had 5 people so he had to get a different truck. He made good time, and the first thing he did was put the kids in the truck to make sure they were safe. Insurance was going to send us to a random tire place in Archer City but Google said that place was permanently closed so the driver took us to a place he knew in Wichita Falls, then he let us grab our bags and drove us across the street to the hotel. I hate to need this type of company, but I would definitely call this one again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I was stranded with a rental car that wouldn’t start in rural N Texas. The driver communicated when to expect him, and he was able to troubleshoot my issue and get the car started. He told me the electric system was messed up and to not shut off the car until I reached my destination. As a female by myself, I felt very comfortable and secure with his advice and was so glad he waited for me to pull out and see that the car was driving okay. Very professional!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Our alternator gave out with 2 hours of a 12hr road-trip left. Not only did they show up SO fast and get us to an AutoZone, he stayed and helped us change the part. And in a jeep patriot in 90° weather that is NOT an easy task at all. Truly so grateful for their willingness to help, seriously cannot say thank you enough. Incredible people

I have been stuck since 7 pm on side of he Bailey turnpike Aaa was unprofessional enough to say I would be stuck until 8 am, making me and my son stay on shoulder for 12 total hours! Chris was super kind and helpful. He let us change the mechanic we went to kid drive and then drove us to our hotel. He even gave us a jump to help us confirm that it was an alternator problem and not an engine problem (thank god). He went the extra mile for us, figuratively and literally. On Monday May 6th, my son’s truck broke down in a parking lot on Southwest parkway. We called AAA and gave the location. I didn’t get the tow truck operators name. My family broke down 20 miles outside of Wichita Falls while on a road trip. The Pigg Towing team (Matthew, Adrianna, and Jeremy)who helped us was extremely kind and generous. They helped not only tow our car into town, but also gave us a ride to a hotel since we knew no one in the area, and helped us find a reliable mechanic (Billie's Auto Repair) who fixed our car as quickly as possible for a fair price! Havent really tried no one else so cant say if the best but are really polite and friendly more so the drivers then the office. But no real complaints they get the job done. Ive called them several times. Just ask for pricing before. A 10 min drive or a 20 min drive can cost you way different.

I went to oaklawn to do a little gambling at kiowa casino. As soon as we pulled in the car started smoking under the hood. I figured low radiator...so let it cool while we played. Afterwards drove straight to gas station about 2 miles. Opened the hood and couldn't find anything wrong with radiator then I saw the problem. Broken serpentine belt. Called these guys and asked for help and price. The weather conditions became nasty really fast. Any ways, took about 30 minutes and the guy tried but not able to fix it. They told us $100 for trip and 50 to fix it. When he couldn't fix it he said let me put up my tools and wash my hands and I'll be right back. THE NEXT THING HE DID WAS JUST DRIVE OFF. DIDN'T CHARGE US FOR ANYTHING. NOW IT WAS RAINING, 30/50 MPH WINDS AND HE WAS IN THE BEST MOOD AND DID EVERYTHING POSSIBLE. I WANT TO THANK THIS GENTLEMAN FOR EVERYTHING AND I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIS KINDNESS AND WILL CALL THEM AGAIN IF I NEED HELP. 👍

Jessica and Jason were my contacts at Melton’s and they provided excellent customer care. This is my third experience with this company, they are consistently excellent. Similar to AAA in the 1980s when you could get a service call in 30 minutes or less. Definitely recommend Melton/Pigg Wrecker Service!
