Employees are respectful, their prices is a rip off, it's like a holdup without a gun. Terrible company
Feb 10, 2026 -
This towing company is a sick business representing a symptom of a larger sickness among apartment complexes that contract them purely to increase their profits. They defend their $330 predatory tow by claiming rates are “set by the state” (only maximums are set by the state, NOT minimums — so they are charging the maximum they legally can). They operate out of a trailer with a sign on the customer service window that says, “Be nice or leave,” showing they know full well their service is harmful and not legitimate. The system is designed to profit from hardworking people’s mistakes, with no legal recourse. The employees working at Triton should feel completely ashamed of themselves, though it’s clear they are trapped in a position where making an honest living seems impossible without taking advantage of others. A disgraceful operation.

Poor customer service absolutely rube...I dont care how busy you are.you literally do t make a customer feel unheard and uncalled. Lakeline souldnt call you for emergencies. Especially when it matters poor service never call them if it matters. They will hang up on you mid convo because apparently they are too busy the hell. Every area is busy as long as you live in Austin. I'd take my business elsewhere. Do t call them

I register my car everyday and My car got towed for being in a "reserved" parking space. Ive been parking in the same 2 spots for the past 2 1/2 weeks and its never been an issue. I went outside and took a picture of the parking spot and it does not have "Reserved" on the floor or the curb, so again it shouldnt have been towed.

Predatory towing company. First time I came, they cursed at me when I was arriving and didn't apologize or anything. Second time, they charged me for two days when my car was not there for 24 hours yet. I asked why and was trying to get them to fix it but they said they couldn't since manager wasn't there, and if I didn't pay right there then I would have had even more charges later. Apartment complexes, please consider someone else.

This is hands down the worst towing company I have ever dealt with. Completely unreliable, dishonest, and unprofessional from start to finish. They made promises they had no intention of keeping, gave inconsistent and misleading information, and failed to show up when they said they would. Communication was terrible, and every interaction felt shady and untrustworthy. They wasted my time, caused unnecessary stress, and showed zero accountability or concern for the customer. This company operates with no integrity and no respect for people who are already in a difficult situation and need help. I strongly believe they should be avoided at all costs. There are plenty of towing companies out there and this is absolutely not one of the good ones. Do yourself a favor and never call this company unless you want frustration, excuses, and disappointment.

Horrible and shady towing company. I scheduled an appointment to pick up my personal belongings and clearly told the dispatcher I’d be bringing a large box to empty my truck. They set the appointment for 5:15 PM.
I drove 45 minutes to the Pflugerville yard, arrived around 5:10, and waited. After calling back 20 minutes later, I was suddenly told there’s a “new rule” that personal belongings aren’t released after 5 PM. That was the entire reason for my visit—why wasn’t this mentioned when the appointment was made?
What makes this worse is that two days earlier, they allowed me to grab items around 7 PM, so this “rule” feels completely made up. The dispatcher then acted like a manager and refused to meet me.
Customer service is nonexistent. They clearly don’t care because they work with insurance companies and continue charging storage fees every 12 hours the longer they delay.
The driver was fine, but the people running the Pflugerville yard are unprofessional and inconsistent. If they’re “24 hours,” then act like it. This business deserves 0 stars.Jan 12, 2026 -
Absoulute SCAM! Had friends at my apt complex that I pay parking for. Had them registered as guest parking which you have to extend every 24h (now I know why...). Their parking expired at 9pm and got towed at 9:01pm. They obviously saw the car and waited until 1min later to tow it so they can charge them $350... before I even had to time to re-register the visit pass... they wait hoping you'll forget to extend it every 24h which you will at some point

Absolute scammers. A disgrace of a company.
A bunch of unprofessional, uneducated people taking advantage of customers.
$321 for towing a car 6 miles just because a license plate wasn’t updated? That’s straight-up robbery.
You’re not doctors, lawyers, or skilled professionals to justify charging that kind of money.
This is nothing but greed, exploitation, and abuse of power.Jan 07, 2026 -
If I can give 0 stars I would. Towed my car that was in a public parking spot while I was looking at a apartment in South Austin. Towed it all the way to almost round Rock. My battery died while it was there and had to pay $20 for the lady to not be able to jump it bc of how the battery was positioned in my car. Then had to pay another $40 on top of the already $340 I already paid just for them to bring my car out of the overflowing lot they had. (As I see now with all these one star ratings they just jip people to keep a business) Crazy how the sign when you walk up says "be nice or leave" when the lady taking your money is rude off the bat. But honestly what do you expect for a shitty towing company that damages all their clients cars.

Absolutely horrid. They towed my out of state family on a holiday weekend in their rental car in a nearly empty parking garage of the apartment complex that I pay to live in. I had her registered as a visitor but since the license plates wasn’t listed it didn’t matter. $320 and de-railing an entire family weekend

I accidentally put my license plate wrong and my car was towed.. I called and tried to explain that I am a resident at my apartment complex and my car was still towed. I’m being charged $320 just to release my car.. it’s absolutely ridiculous! $320 is outrageous and many people can’t afford that. $150 is a way better towing fee than $320
Nov 24, 2025 -
Towed my car from my complex even though I have a parking permit. I am signed with my complex and I verified with them before I picked up my car that I indeed have a parking permit. I showed them the paperwork (lease and parking policy emailed to the residents ) and that is when they yelled at me stating I was arguing and either pay or get out since I wasn’t registered with their personal parking portal. I had proof they were wrong and they refused to talk to me about it.
I called my leasing office and they stated they never contracted Triton to manage their own parking portal that my complex has their own parking portal that I am clearly registered.
The guy managing is clearly emotional and never can take accountability for their actions. It was a clear mistake and businesses DO MAKE MISTAKES but they clearly won’t ever take accountability or make things right.Nov 17, 2025 -
Please look at your paperwork. I noticed I was charged incorrectly. They charged me for more than they were supposed to.
Also the scrawny guy with a weird mustache was wanting to rush me out and threatening to lock me in the yard for looking at my vehicle before leaving. Once he saw me record him he threatened to call the police on me.
If you ever deal with them please be careful...Nov 17, 2025 -
Triton Towing came through when I needed them most. Raul handled my tow from O’Reilly Auto Parts to my house quickly and professionally. His communication was excellent — he kept me updated every step of the way and made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
It’s rare to find towing service that combines reliability with genuine customer care, but Raul and the Triton team nailed it. Highly recommend!Oct 16, 2025 -
Nice people and transparent business practices.
Just kidding. Wretched, aggressive, scummy, and miserable customer service. They told me it was illegal to document proof of me paying them for my car that they stole from my residence (not true). And tried to get me to delete the video from my phone. Very suspect behavior and should probably be cause for investigation.
Tips: Bring cash, retrieve your vehicle as soon as possible, and expect them to charge you for everything that the state allows them to (and be sure that they don’t charge you more than that!). Don’t expect any civility, just hostility and intimidation. Check for damages to your car. They will try to intimidate you and say it’s illegal to document any damages to your vehicle. They broke my side mirror off and said it came like that.
Otherwise, they provide great service and a valuable contribution to society. 1 star.Oct 07, 2025 -
I think it’s very amusing that the sign on their door says be nice or leave. I registered my car to park at an apartment complex at 11:18 PM. They scanned my car to tow it at 11:15 PM. God forbid I grab my belongings out of my car and take them into the complex and then register my car. Didn’t even have time to put my shit down they were already towing my car. The manager laughed whenever they looked at my registration for parking. They truly do not give a shit and collected their $350. Needless to say never get out of your car before registering it to an apartment complex. I truly hope they have an amazing day. Thank you for your niceness trinon towing!!

$320 to pick up my towed car that is outrageous for only a few hrs. Not to mention the staff was not trained to be customer friendly or courteous . Nor were they helpful with the pick up process . No one stated you had to have an apt to pick up your car and I spoke with 3 different people.
Sep 28, 2025 -
Rude and horrid staff. Not once out of the three conversations with a staff member was I told I needed to make an appointment. They gave me the address, I came here. The person on the phone started blaming me saying I refused an apt time which I was never told anything about an apt. They told me someone would come to release the car within the hour and when I asked how they would know who I was to release the car to (as there wasn’t an obvious entrance) they said I was asking hypothetical questions. Another person came to pick up their car and they had no idea either you needed an appointment. When I called back to make my apt the apt scheduler transferred me to dispatch and I told him I needed to make my appointment- he asked if I called his number or was transferred and I said transferred. He then went on to state something a long the lines of needing to talk to the apt scheduler for not doing his job. I 100% recommend Armada Towing- so nice and polite. I will note, that once you get here there is a sign that says pick up by apt only- however, I’ve never been here before so that isn’t very helpful.

extremely rude. girl hung up the phone in my face when i asked her why they took my car for no reason and she couldn’t explain. that’s another point, they took my car with no explanation. i’ve live in my apartment complex over a year and never had issues. everytime i call back someone immediately answers with attitude. good luck if you’re a victim from these unpleasant people.

I had an experience with this towing company on New Years Day 2025. I'm still angry that they made me go through the crap I went through. On New Years Eve 2025, they just happened to "randomly" go through Radius at the Domain apartments in North Austin and picked up my car because the I was parked in a disabled parking spot and the disabled placard did not have two holes noting the month and year of expiration. This is a placard that my wife and I had for TWO YEARS issued by the Travis County Tax Office and I had no reason to believe that this was an illegal placard. I woke up New Years morning to frantically search for my car and then found out these butt wipes picked it up for "two holes missing." They told me when I called that it was state law that there had to be two holes for the month and year of expiration. I've lived in my apartment complex for YEARS and NOBODY had towed me for "two holes missing." There is the state law as written and the implementation of such law. These people clearly were focused on the letter of the law, not the implementation and also uninterested in vehicles that had expired registration, parked in carport without tag, or fire lane parking. They were interested in towing a car with a valid placard whose owners clearly need it to go places. Their response to this: "we could get in trouble for not towing it." Are you kidding me? You think you are going to get fined, jailed, etc for not towing a vehicle that doesn't have "two holes" in the disabled placard? That's really reaching for an excuse to be totally stupid. After paying the $250+ out of my hard earned money that needed to go towards bills and food for my family, I did go after the county saying that they clearly did not give me a valid disabled placard and they reimbursed me FOUR MONTHS LATER and provided an updated placard with the correct distinguishing features of a valid placard. But, I'm sure they were like, "why was he towed?" To the owner of this business: My car registration is expiring tomorrow and I'm getting it renewed on Friday on my day off after I go get emissions testing. You gonna be waiting for me to take my car on Friday? If you do, be warned that you will get what's coming to you and I'm not paying you a DIME. And since you wanna go by the letter of state law, Transportation Code 502.407 says I have five working days to get it renewed (WORKING DAYS, NOT CALENDAR DAYS). And I will post the temporary registration on my dashboard once I get it renewed online and it will have a July 2026 expiration. If you even touch my vehicle and tow it just because I don't have the updated sticker, I will call the police and report you for auto theft and note this part of the Transportation Code and the fact that my updated renewal WILL BE VISIBLE ON THE DASHBOARD. So, I dare you to take my vehicle so quickly just to make another tow fee off of families that need to put food on the table. Just try it and find out what happens!

I never leave reviews, but this lady…quick with the attitude and very rude! Doesn’t like it when she gets it back neither!
My husband’s work truck was REGISTERED, but since we parked the truck in our residential spot, it got towed. Spoke to a very rude woman when I called, she made me a deal that we could pick the truck up without the insurance(it’s a company truck) but when I said “I’ll be there in 25 minutes” she responded rudely that she can’t release it to me and I said “I have to drive him, how else is he gonna get there?” End of phone call…then she called from a different number all upset, sounded like she was shaking mad and told me she would not release the truck without the insurance and it had to have his name on it.
His brother called, spoke to a man, he is on the insurance and was told to just have the insurance(my husband was the one still picking up the vehicle)and be there at 1045am to pick up, mind you it’s 11am and she just came to the office. She previously told me if we were late, even by a minute, she’d leave!
Worst customer service….EVER! Make sure you register your vehicle AND park in visitor parking so you don’t have to deal with her or pay $320!
We both missed work, trying to figure this out and get everything she said they would require. To just come pick it up later…smh
**they picked up the truck at 1140pm, I called at 230am…3hrs! $320…insane**Jun 23, 2025 -
I feel like I try to give the benefit of the doubt to any company with low reviews. I can imagine as a tow company, they experience a lot of unhappy customers considering the circumstance in why someone might be contacting them.
But unfortunately, every review of how rude the staff is has been correct. I had the displeasure of speaking to a receptionist late Sunday night as we were worried my husband's car had been stolen. She was SO incredibly rude. She frequently interrupted me, was accusatory, and escalated the conversation in no time flat with the very basic questions I was attempting to ask.
Picking up the car itself went just fine after we spoke to our apartment complex, but I cannot commend anyone that was helpful after that single conversation. I genuinely hope she learns to better herself if she's going to stay in customer service.Jun 18, 2025 -
Shadiest place to have to come pick up your car that got towed (not that you really have a choice I guess). They don’t answer the office phone, which is always fun when you’re trying to confirm if they’re the people who took your car. The lot is on a crowded, run-down road with no actual building to meet with people. You wait outside as if you’re ordering from a food truck and have to schedule an appt online to get your vehicle. Will charge you extra for using a credit card to squeeze every last cent out of you. I guess towing unsuspecting apartment visitors must not pay that much, because this place is a dump.

Spoke with a man named Jerry over the phone, and he refused to give me any information to locate or pay for my car. He told me that I have to “schedule an appointment” to pay and pick up my car but that was all the information he knows because they have over “500” locations and information varies. He hung up on me numerous times and then when I asked to speak to someone else to complain he refused saying no one else works there. Once I called back and finally was able to speak with someone else they too were short on the phone. They claimed they would report my issue with their boss once he came in, but I have not heard anything back yet. I had to use tracking gps to find my car and speak with someone in person because Jerry refused to help me get my vehicle back.

Scam of a company. Towed my car from the apartment complex I've lived at for THREE YEARS and registered THREE YEARS AGO on the website when I first moved in. I go to talk to them and apparently my car is not in their system even though I have approval emails saying that my car has been approved and registered in the system. They go on about some "confirmation number" that I have NEVER received despite living at the complex for again, THREE YEARS. I would give negative stars if I could, and clearly this company gets off on towing cars FOR FUN AS PROVEN BY EVERY SINGLE OTHER REVIEW. No basis to tow my car and despite it being a problem with THEIR OWN SYSTEM I STILL have to fork over hundreds of dollars for their own mistake. Imagine being such a terrible, dishonest business the way you make money is by towing first, ask questions later. THIS CANNOT BE A LEGITIMATE BUSINESS. They essentially steal people's cars and demand you pay for it. Disgustingly ran company - all of you at this company should be ashamed for having no morals. They could go into the system themselves and delete people's registrations for all I know, then tow the car and demand you pay after. Terrible company that should've been out of business years ago.

Triton Towing somehow is contracted with several apartment lots and tows cars even after just a few hours. My son was at a friend’s apartment and they parked the car at 1. The tow company towed him car 4 hours later. He called me frantic thinking someone stole the vehicle. Once we found out they picked up the vehicle, I called and the guy that answered was being such a jerk. First told me they didn’t have the car and was about to hang up. Then once I told him that the complex had pictures of them towing it, he tried to say I gave him the wrong plate number. Went to the place, it was as tiny as my hallway bathroom. The two office people were nice, but they didn’t feel bad that they charged $320 for towing someone that wasn’t even illegally parked. Showing and talking to them didn’t make a difference. After we paid and went to go get the car from the lot, 2 of their tow trucks thought it would be a great idea to park right in the driveway so no one could get out without possibly hitting them. When I honked to let the driver know I was trying to get out he just looked at me then looked away and didn’t even move, what a douche!

This company took my car 2 hours after the apartment complex, Bouldin Creek Apartments, sent out an email to register our car. WE WERE AT WORK! Went to go pick it up and the woman working in the booth provided the worst customer service I've ever experienced. She acted like we should be thanking her for even showing up to do her dang job. Remember not to ask any questions or she'll threaten to close up and keep your car. What a miserable person.

If you live at lakeside apartments, this is the lovely contracted company that will tow your car in the middle of the night if you forget to register a guest parking and then you get to give them $320 for their hard work. (Take cash to avoid credit fees)
They pulled my daughter's car, but managed to miss 20+ cars that sit around the parking lot with no valid registration or/and with flat tires.
This is a pure 'take advantage of people's misfortune' company.
The staff are extremely rude and completely unapologetic.
Google maps will try to make you drive thru Pampered Auto Care, but you have to turn on Northridge road to get to Terrace Dr.
There is a parking lot on the left side of the road, but the office is a tiny shack on the right side further down.
They let me take my daughter's car with no proof of insurance or ownership, so beware.
0 stars if it was available.Sep 25, 2024 -
I got in to a situation loading a car on a trailer. My winch cable broke and the car was stuck on the rear end of the trailer. After several hours of trying I decided to call a tow truck to help out because i need to get back to Houston. I mush have called close to 20 wrecker company's and Triton was the only one willing to come help at 1 in the morning. Jorge pulled up and assessed this situation. He was upfront that he wasn't sure it would work, but he was willing to try and he would have to charge me once he started. We agreed and worked together brainstorming ideas, until we finally got the car on the trailer, undamaged. Jorge spent a lot more time with me than he would have a normal tow, and then offered to help strap the car down if I needed it. Jorge was a stand up guy, I highly recommend having him out.
