Alex, the tow truck driver, analyzed the situation correctly right away--a battery problem. He jumped-started our new car, and the engine revved to life right away. From his diagnostic, he determined that we needed a new battery. Also, he showed the location of the battery poles so that I could jump the car myself--something I really welcomed! I had to use Armada Towing via AAA four times in a very short period due to a recurring battery issue. On one of those occasions I was stranded, and the final visit was to replace the battery on-site. Each time, the technicians were prompt, professional, and extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem and getting me back on the road. Great customer service!
Horrible. The tow driver was a bully, mean, nosey, and prying into my business. He lied to me and tricked me into taking my car to his friend. A true scam. AAA sent them. This was in Arlington, TX. If you ignore this post. Take your car to where you plan to take it only... don't let anyone suggest...their friend.
Incredibly professional and reliable service. Dayquan is hands down a great tow truck driver and all around human. I had a hard day that ended with my car breaking down and he made the experience actually fun.
This company was towing a commercial vehicle in front of my house. Not related to me, but blocking my driveway. When I simply asked how long it would be until the entrance was open as I had somewhere to be, the driver started yelling slurs and calling me names. The people you hire are truly a reflection of your business. This behavior was unacceptable and uncalled for. Do better!

Joseph was very helpful when I was needing my car towed due to the battery giving out. While in route, he called to make me aware of his location status which was very helpful as a college student who is all over the place. He was very professional with his work, and he also kindly returned my wallet to me after I had accidentally had left it in the tow truck. Wonderful service!
I called AAA for a tow from my home to the mechanic. AAA gave me an ETA of 59 minutes, the dispatcher from Armada called and told me that my tow truck was about 10 minutes away. My driver called immediately as I was finishing speaking with the dispatcher and said he was on his way. I think it was actually 9 minutes! Very prompt, very polite, texted a photo of the vehicle after it had been dropped off at the shop to let me know when it was delivered to the mechanics. I have no complaints! It's never fun to need a tow, but these good people made it as painless as possible.
Armada came to change my battery and while they were messing with the cables, the entire radio and computer system broke down and will not turn on anymore. Now they are denying they had anything to do with it even after their tech apologized profusely to me. They will not help and are denying they had anything to do with it. Now it's going to cost $3000 to get a new radio/computer system and they could care less. Do not trust them with your car.
Carlos went above and beyond helping me get my Tesla out of the impound lot after an accident. They wouldn't let him go into the yard to pick up the vehicle and because the airbags deployed, the Tesla would not go in neutral. After two battery boxes and many attempts to get it in to tow mode, it finally worked but the car wouldn't drive so Carlos helped me push it all the way to the entrance where he was allowed to pick it up. It was a hot and sweaty 1+ hr ordeal and Carlos was super helpful! Thanks so much man!
Five stars for Gustavo at Armada Towing in Austin. My car died in a live lane during rush hour, and he drove across town, kept me updated on his ETA, and even checked with his supervisor to see if someone closer could reach me faster. I managed to get the car started, but he still came to make sure I was safe, and called about 10 minutes later to double-check. Professional, calm under pressure, and genuinely caring. If you need a tow in Austin, ask for Gustavo.
I’ve had to use my AAA membership three times in the last two years and both times the technicians from Armada Towing have been amazing! I really appreciated the quick response when my battery had died on a Sunday. They came and replaced my battery in less than an hour. Very grateful they were able to do it so quickly! The technicians are always friendly and welcoming. Thank you for hiring the kindest employees.
I seem to be reviewing towing companies lately… Today, Daniel was my tow-truck driver and he was excellent. I thought my last driver belonged in the Highland Games, but he didn’t single-handedly push my car out of the carport like Daniel did. Uphill. My god, they DO still make them like they used to… Daniel was kind and considerate and even laughed at my jokes. This company was all about communication and they brought it home- I was told I would have a driver at my place in 28 minutes and sure, enough - they were there in 25. They called me after Daniel left to make sure I was happy. They hit all the marks.
Helpful, friendly and polite staff provide quick roadside assistance through AAA. -- ** VINCENT ** did just that, and also diagnosed the problem of my mother's car not starting right there in the parking lot! We avoided towing the car to the garage and drove back home! Thank you so much!!!
I had a flat tire and called AAA who had Mo from Armada come out! He was so kind, professional, and helpful in changing out my tire for my spare. Absolutely recommend!
I want to give a huge thanks to my driver Ayomide! I want to be able to tip him or give him a huge thank you. We had some opposition when loading the car from the business we were parked at and he stood up for us and was efficient and got us out and on our way.
Edit. I changed my review to a 1 star. I still keep my 5 stars for Ayomide. But this last guy I just dealt with (didn't get a name) was not nice or helpful and I ended up just canceling the tow as he was very combative from the start.
I had the best experience with Rene from Armada towing. He had to hook my car up in the rain and still had the greatest attitude. He was very communicative and showed up right when he said he would. He was seriously the nicest person. It’s rare to meet someone so professional, patient, and kind all at once. I truly appreciate his help and would gladly recommend him to anyone in need of a tow.
John at Armada Towing totally saved us tonight. My son had hit a pothole and had a total blowout. It was after 8pm on a Saturday night and we needed to get the spare tire onto the car so that we could move it off the road and then get an early start on a road trip in the morning. I called Armada and began texting with them. John said he would be to us in 21 minutes and arrived exactly on time. We had tried to get the tire off so it was falling off and the car was almost touching the ground. He had to problem solve the situation in near darkness and on a slight incline. He was able to quickly figure out a solution and get the tire off. Then he made sure to check the air pressure in our spare tire before putting it on the car. He had us on our way in minutes! What an unexpectedly pleasant and easy experience! Thank you, Armada!
I had a flat tire and used AAA to call a tow to get my car to the dealership. Bilal with Armada Towing showed up and he was so helpful! I was in a tough position with my car (as the tire had completely come off my wheel). He helped advise on how to get my car onto the tow truck without hurting the wheel. Everything worked out perfectly and it was a smooth trip to the dealership. Highly recommend!
My car wouldn’t turn on and the battery seemed like it was dead, but the technician John Contreras came out and found the real problem, my battery terminals had snapped due to corrosion. He took the extra time to make sure it was taken care of and I was on my way. Never before have I had a roadside guy take out that much time and energy into making sure I was able to get my car working. Most would have told me I’m gonna need to go to a shop, not this guy; he is truly an asset to that company. New found respect for Armada Towing for this one!
Polite and very professional. If I ever opened up a place, the setup would be just like this. My friend had a horrible accident, and he had no issues accessing his belongings. Can't be mad at a place for doing their job.
Wow... what a disappointment this whole adventure with Armada was. I specifically requested a flatbed for my tow. All texts and communication confirmed a flatbed would be dispatched to my location. Communication from their drivers was horrid. The first one I spoke to tried really hard not to come, insisting that I could put the donut on my car and it would be fine. When he did show up, he basically had a hissy fit when I told him he would not be taking my car as he did not have a flatbed for the tow. He had a wheel lift tow truck.... which was not what was specifically requested.
I called in to follow up and see if a flatbed would be dispatched. I was hung up on immediately. So I called back, which was my mistake. I should have cancelled from there. When I got through, I was assured the driver of a flatbed would be calling me soon. No call was ever received.
I ended up calling my car dealership and asking who they recommended. They recommended Harper Towing. Harper was to my car in 20 minutes. I will NEVER be using Armada towing again and suggest you don't either. Harper Towing was professional courteous, as well as extremely timely! And they came in $50 cheaper than Armada.
Vincent came to tow my truck very quickly on a Monday night around 10:30 p.m. and he even took a look at my engine and showed me what went wrong. He towed the truck to a mechanic and dropped the keys off for me, saving me valuable time! He sent a text with a photo once he dropped my truck off. Highly recommend! Vincent went above and beyond the call of duty.
