ILLEGALLY towed my vehicle off the property. Tried stopping him he sped off recklessly. I had a parking pass so he technically STOLE MY VEHICLE OFF THE PROPERTY AND THEN BROUGHT IT BACK TO A DIFFERENT PARKING SPACE . ALL CAUGHT ON VIDEO .
Car was towed for the 4th time they tow illegally they lurk and wait …my apartments have visitors parking i was told i would be able to park there no problem go outside saturday to my car not being outside theres not signs nor do they give warning towing is only enforced on weekdays not weekends so now i have to once again pay an insane amount and hope that they dont take it again more than likely theyre going to tow again if i get it back and theres nothing u can do about it asked for the boss or high ups number and he said no and said that they dont have a location and wouldnt be able to help so watch out for these evil people that take advantage of people less fortunate ..WATCH FOR UR CARS
Contacted company 2 days prior to towing, was scheduled for pick up between hours of 7am to 8am, I had to reach out to them in order to figure out what was going on esp since my appt was at 9, was told they would not get to me until 11:15am. Needless to say I was able to get a ride.... within 45 min by someone else.
These guys are the scum of the earth. My partner's apartment complex doesn't allow visitor parking and I parked my car for forty-five minutes and they towed it. I wish the City of Austin or state law prohibited them from tacking on an inordinate amount of predatory fees so be prepared for that. They also go by J & J parking and you can look at those reviews on Google to see other people's similar, awful experiences.
I swear to God I saw this man waiting and lurking to tow this woman who's parked over the line. Yes but she was moving in with her kids and she was using a dolly to get things out of her car and he waited till she went inside and towed. Her car scummy behavior and then he taunted me afterwards when I tried to catch her in time to stop him honestly, people like this have no soul
I am not saying that G&G has an illicit relationship with many business around town where they pay kickbacks to the owners of businesses to get more business towing cars to their impound lot. I would never say that. I’m not saying my car was towed from an empty lot with ambiguous and predatory signage behind the notorious town creek dairy queen off riverside at 9PM on a Wednesday. Nope not saying that. But I am saying that my car was at G&G for less than 12 hours and they charged me $235 to get it back.
Richard is an incredible guy! Had a flat at 4am at night with a flight at 5:30, he was filling gas at the same place I parked, saw it and came to help, put me a spare tire in 10 minutes, Amazing guy, Highly highly recommend. Glad to see people like him are still out here, Get in touch with him asap
I parked at an apartment complex down the street from an apartment I was touring. I am new to city & coming from a small city in west Texas, I’ve definitely never had these problems. After being gone less than 45 minutes, my car was towed! I was unaware I couldn’t park where I did. I am a full time working student maneuvering a new city. I have the worst experience with this company. I went over to my family's house around 9:00. I didn't know Tony was enforcing the apartment complex so I accepted. Why calling around trying to retrieve my vehicle the owner was very very rude I just wanted to know what happened and how I can get my vehicle back. So here we are later on that day once I get up I noticed that my tire is on flat I take my car around the corner to get my tire fixed and when I opened the door I realized that my whole floorboard in my backseat is now up on the inside of my car. My car hasn't been in any kind of accidents or anything so I found this to be strange. So I called the owner and again very rude very unprofessional because there was no way humanly possible that I could have been the metal frame of my car unless I flipped the car upside down and took a sledgehammer to it. Of course that night when I got the car I walked around and made sure but who goes and looks underneath the car. Me foremost the rudest old company in history I see why they're ratings are the way that they are. I don't knock nobody how they get their money but don't tear people's stuff up people work real hard for their money and due to the fact of their neglect devalued the cost of my car.
Just got my car towed and the SO called manager would not give me his name! He said i was childish that I needed a bank account with my name to pay to get car out. I told him I'm not childish I'm 29 and made a car payment yesterday so to have my car towed I did not expect. He said he would have taken to be a 19 year old! Who says that!
This company is used by my apartment complex I took my car in for service and left the parking tag in my car at the dealer by mistake
I received a loner and so I tried to get a new tag from my apartment complex but they were closed for Easter weekend
they gave me the number to G and G impounding so that I could notify them
when I called G & G impounding I spoke to the supervisor which told me it's not his problem it doesn't work like that take it up with the office hes gonna tow it anyway even though I told him I was a resident and that was a loaner or car. and I lived here 3 years.
No surprise they have 3 stars. These are scam artist please beware
THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!! They lie about the hours they are open, make patrons wait over an hour to talk to someone, and don’t answer the phone number listed when contacted. Obviously getting your car towed is a stressful experience in itself but this is just plain rude and bad business and adds insult to injury. Expect awful service with G & G.
Witness driver picking up the wrong. Car. And dropping it several . the tenant came out just in time to catch him and he speed away. Also he is a rood preson must be hurting for money. Not a trusting company
These people are nothing but legal thieves. Was visiting a friend during the day & the apt office was not open to get any visitors permit & they towed my vehicle at 1:00 pm. I would give negative stars since the didn't care & hung up on me twice when I called them.
BIG shout out to Richard for helping out one of our plumbers. He locked his keys in the truck and Richard was on site in minutes. Had the truck unlocked and the technician back on the road in no time. Great job Richard! Highly recommend G&G Impounding.
Because I had to come off 625 bucks just to get my vehicle back and I was not notified about having the registry and insurance to show to receive a parking sticker. These people were not trying to help me at all. They said that the property management should have stated that upon moving in. Or at least give a heads up if you you haven't issued any to the least holder. Nothing said until I went in the front office to ask who took my truck and where is the contact information was so that I can explain the situation and they don't bugg. For nothing and nobody Period
If I could give them zero stars, I would! I completely understand running a business and having to make a profit but to not have an ounce of compassion and be purposely deceitful is another level. I deliver for a company in ATX and a customer who lives at an apartment complex that they tow from ordered something. I get there, no parking. So I park where there is no signs, no fire zones and where I’m not obstructing any people or other vehicles. I run in and took maybe 5 minutes to find their apt and give them their purchase. I come back and my car is completely gone. At first I figured someone stole it, even though it was locked and off. I call the towing number and of course they have it. I explain to the guy that I was delivering food to a customer that lived there and he did not care. Now this is part that really messes with me. I’m a female, I’m from San Antonio. I am planning to move to ATX but wanted to learn the ropes first so I drive back and forth from SA to ATX. I tell him I have no idea where I am, I don’t know ANYONE in ATX, I have no ride, everything is in the car and asked if he could please bring it back. At this point I’m crying because I’m literally on the street scared for my life with no idea where I am or what could happen to me. It was 2 a.m in the morning and I was only doing my job. I offered to pay for them to bring it back and he refused. I had to wake up my bf who had to be at work at 4 a.m. for him to drive all the way to Austin from San Antonio (and they were rude to him on the phone) to come get the car. This experience definitely put a damper on my ATX experience. I was so excited to move here and they ruined it. Horrible corrupt company and I will not stop until they lose every contract they have!
LOVE this towing company. I work at an apartment complex and we use this company for our towing. They make it very easy and cater to our needs. I would recommend 100% reccomend this company, especially for multi family properties. They’ve made our life at work so much easier and give us access to a program that allows us to stay up to date on who’s been towed and when. It also allows us to make our own visitor passes. They’re awesome!
Horrible corrupt company!! They came the my trailer complex without a contract/agreement between them and the complex, yet still towed my vehicle with a parking permit placed in the windshield. Even worse, they damaged it! No wonder they got rightfully sued for spotting and damaging! They're a money hungry company that would make up any excuse to tow your vehicle. I called them to let them know that they had screwed my front tires, and they said there not responsible for what happens to the vehicle!!

Had a large reception held at the food truck court (for an authentic Austin experience for those of us from out of town) and we had a number of folks who had to find parking near them. Driver for G&G watched members of the wedding party get out of their SUV (still wearing their suits from the wedding) and saw them walk across the street and promptly towed their car. My son had seen signage on other lots concerning towing, didn't park in them, but didn't see the signage in the lot where the towing occurred. Upon leaving the reception, spoke to the tow truck driver, who gave us the address. We drove over there to retrieve to SUV, only to wait while the same guy drive from the food truck court after we called him on a separate number!!!! I realize these folks have a job to do, but this isn't the way to operate a business.... Better signage, a little common sense, and less of a mercenary approach on this would go a long way.
Richard is a cool guy i told him i was park for a spilt second and i have my kids and i had no way to pay him and he drop my car hes a great guy god bless him...

My son's car was towed from the apartments I stay in.. we call the place to see what we need to get the car back.. when we get up to the place we were met by a rude ass guy that changed everything and acted like he did not want to give the SUV back... he made up everything under the sun not to release the car.. I had to call a 24 he notary and pay extra just to get the Car back.. this is a horrible place.. Richard the driver was never rude to us it was the other guy playing receptionist.. he gave us the hardest time for no reason... they need to be closed down.. it should not be this hard are stressful to get your car back that belong to you before they snatched it!!!!!!!!!

I own and manage a 70 unit apartment complex, Oakview Terrace I & II, and G&G has been our towing contractor for over a year now and their service has been impeccable. Their website and app integration make it easy to keep track of who's being towed and the pictures they email every morning make it easy to explain to the tenant why they were towed. Our last tow contractor rarely came around making it difficult to enforce parking rules. G&G come frequently which has resulted in better adherence to parking rules by tenants and guests. Just as important, they are honest. If a car is improperly towed, they admit the mistake and make it right. I can wholeheartedly recommend them.
I've been extremely happy with G&G! I've used their services several times, I buy/sell cars and they've moved some for me that didn't run. Great prices and quick service, Richard will always be the one I call when I need a tow. Thumps up!
I know most people don't encounter towing companies by choice BUT if you have the option you should choose G&G Impounding. I was on my way to work when I became stuck in the mud while making a turn around. I was stuck for about 1 hour trying to maneuver my car out of the mud. After an officer arrived I knew I had to call someone to get my car out before he called (they are usually much more expensive). I called G&G and within 4 minutes (LITERALLY, FOUR MINUTES LATER) the driver arrived and within two minutes I was pulled out! Had I just called G&G immediately when I got stuck I would've been out of there in minutes and on my way to work! Thanks again G&G!
My brother-in-law had to have his truck towed to my house in preparation of selling it. Richard did the tow and was very polite and helpful. He made a point of introducing himself to me as well. I would highly recommend G & G Impounding!
Despite being more than a little miffed about having my car towed, Richard was extremely polite and helpful. After finding out my car was towed from my place of residence he gave me a considerable discount. He went above and beyond to work with my embarrassing financial situation. As much as this sucked, he made me feel exactly like I was absolutely not a loser. G & G Towing, you rocked my world with your understanding and fabulous human decency. Which, until today, I thought was no longer in existence.

Very fast service! Had no trouble finding where my truck was and they helped me get into my vehicle without damaging ANYTHING! For the cost, DEFINITELY worth it! I will never call any locksmiths or pop a lock folks if I'm locked out of my car again...
Very friendly and prompt. My daughter had car problems on an old car she only had for a month. (Her first car) She called me in tears " my car broke" I called for a tow and before they arrived she figured it out. A BLOWN OUT

Absolutely insanse how money hungry they are. My girlfriend and I parked at the Bouldin Creek Food Court where we eat about once a week. We decided that I was going to head next door to South 1st Food Court (less than 30 feet away) to pick up food then on our way back grab food from the truck where our car was. After 10 minutes of being gone, my car was towed. I came to find out that the owner of the food truck that we eat at very regularly saying that they watched us leave and towed the car within 5 minutes-as they simply sit on the other side of the street waiting to tow. We will never return to either food court in the future. Towing should be for cases in which the car is abusing space- and that is it. Now we have an insane amount of fees and are working with an extremely rude staff. Absolutely horrible company!!! The business they are protecting even mentioned that they want them gone and are only bound by a contract.
