Had 60 lb. Of steel nuts, approximately 10 inches in a 5 gallon bucket. Said it was considered Tin, told them I want to see you get 60 lb.s of tin in a 5 gallon bucket. Drove to Main st. and got paid for what it was
If you're advertising hours from 8-5, then don't close the doors on me when I hit traffic and get here at 4:48 pm. 2 days in a row I missed but I was here before 5:00 pm but after 4:45 pm
So I called as new user to the scrap yard as I have been out here for over 7 years and was told that disabled people are not welcome on their yard per Fort Worth Law. I know for a fact that discrimination against disabled people is illegal.
Showed up right before they close and the guy went ahead and took me in they weighed everything when I got home I looked at the ticket I thought something was missing so I emailed the company and Andy responded to me within minutes he was great and he's the main reason why I'm writing this review it was a great experience a highly recommend them and I'll go nowhere else thanks Andy

I was going in there two times a week. Now that I have moved away I don't go so much. But I try to make a special trip every once in awhile just to see the smiley faces.
Lazy and don’t recommend unless your stuff is shiny and completely cut up. For instance trying give Me number 2 brass for stuff that was 90% copper. Which shows me they lazy and it was so bad I grabbed my stuff and drove 30 mins to somewhere else I know will give me a good price for what it’s worth
Mean what you say. 5 pm is 5pm. 4:50 and the guy up front says closed. Well burns my gears. I won't do business here ever and ill tell my friends to not use it since your word is meaningless.
Ready Metals is a fast & friendly scrap yard with great prices and honest people. I've known multiple industrial accounts who have been selling their scrap to Ready Metals for years and there are only two reasons why that happens... good service & fair prices!
The staff is nice but it's a little scary to be at. I'm a full grown man over 200 pounds and honestly I felt uneasy there. I haven't heard anything bad there happening but still...
Great service and helpful staff. The general manager came out of his office and helped me unload when I explained I needed help unloading my truck. These are good people.
They are cheap cheats!! The have their scales adjusted DOWN so MUCH that my 6500 lb truck showed up 2500!!!!!! That's AFTER 3 TRIPS ACROSS their scales because I would not accept their number.
Do your research ! They are not the best prices in town. They are a dollar under market value for copper bare bright. They are only paying 2.33 lbs . I can go 10 min away to dfw recyclers and get 2.85 lbs. They are ripping you off at Ready metals.
Very helpful people. I had a car full of scrap from my garage and they helped me figure out what I had.
I told my boss about RM and we now use them at our company for all of our scrap!
