One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I requested a dumpster removal for a parking lot paving project and had to call three separate times before it was finally removed, two days later than the date I originally requested.
The return date for the dumpster was clearly specified during the call, but it has now been seven days past that date and there’s still no dumpster back at the property. Despite multiple follow-up calls, I still haven’t received confirmation of when it will be returned.
Horrible service avoid if possible!

Our entire street was missed for bulk items collection! I wasted time speaking to two representatives (twice later in the day) who promised that the truck would come by later in the day. THIS NEVER HAPPENED - NO PICKUP - LOUSY SERVICE! By the way, pickup has been cut to just ONCE per week, instead of twice each week, so now we have to wait until next week. Unacceptable!
See attached your so called driver and for the most part couldn’t wait for me and my daughter to pull up in the highways and throw the truck towards my car, considering that I was with my 6 year old girl, I want disciplinary actions against this driver. Crossed inches aways from my car, regardless of not having property damages I could consider this an attempt to make one ?
Only picked up recyclables on the other side of the street, but not on my side. Called the following day and they said they’ll send someone that same day, and never came. Called back the following day and said the same thing, once again nobody came. Ended up just waiting till the scheduled pick up day the following week. Yet one day they left a note on my trash cans cause I left them on my driveway. How am I expected to be held responsible for my trash cans yet they can’t be accountable to pick them up, even after calling twice. Much less when you are paying for the service.
Edit: Came by again, took pictures, opened the can, drove by and stopped to 'pick it up', drove on.
It's time to get loud at the city council meetings.
Hot garbage, literally. Have neem trying to get my green waste picked up for a month, they won't do it if the lid is 1/16th above open. Today I got it in, it didn't dump out, and they tried to get it again, dropped it on the ground, and drove off.

I watch them all the time in the camera pick the dumpster up… let everything fall out on the ground and leave… just disgusting..instead of reassuring that the trash is in the back.. you then let it fall out in the streets! All down the major streets!! please stop leaving the trash.. this message is for driver that comes to RedGate apartments in Arlington!!!
Ever since our community cancelled our contract with Republic, there's been a very obvious and very intentional slow down of services in the required 90 day notification period. Now, after repeated promises that our trash would be picked up, as Republic is contractually obligated during this period, we've been stuck with overflowing dumpsters for a week now. Repeated calls and complaints have not changed the situation, and now there's a "driver shortage". I don't believe it for a second. If you are considering using this company for community trash services, be ready for the same treatment when you get tired of their poor service and go to cancel the contract.
Their trash pick up service is good, but their customer service is pathetic. I have been with the company 21 years and am tired of the inadequate customer service I receive. For this reason alone I will get another trash provider on renewal of my contract! I hope this gets the message across!!
This company is constantly missing pick up even when the right day and time are correct. Do people literally have to hand the bags over in the morning or toss it in as the truck goes by? I mean seriously.
35 yard pick up/dump/wash and return - Jody Hill always goes above and beyond to help keep our dumpster clean/washed at every request. Great response time and awesome customer service!
Since I use this Company, my property looks very cleaned I work in a large apartment complex. I noticed every time they empty our dumpsters, they pick up the garbage thoughtless residents leave on the ground. It's always nice to see so much consideration for cleanliness!

I have been a commercial client for 7 years and they have scammed me out of hundreds to thousands of dollars!!! They have been charging me overage fees for other peoples dumpsters that are on my street the entire time. If they skip a pickup they won’t credit you unless you call, but I can guarantee you if it’s one inch too high you are getting billed extra for it. Horrible customer service!!! 1 hour plus to get someone on the phone and they don’t accomplish anything. It’s beyond ridiculous. (Not my dumpsters in photos and that was 5 overage charges just in the last two months $100+!!!). X that by 7 years!!!
The driver of the recycle bins on Port Richmond way in Arlington Tx has Squeezed my recycling bins twice in one week...Such an inconvenience and I literally think it's done purposely because no one else has that problem ...He then runs over my trash bags and trash goes flying everywhere and when the trash truck comes to collect trash they then leave all the trash left on ground from when the recycle truck ran over my bag....So Ill be out Monday to see what his real issue is with this address.....it's all on camera if any of the supervisors would like to view ....it's very frustrating
Wow they didn’t take my brothers garbage in Arlington to because they said he had construction material in his plastic bags and also said that they looked inside but he has them on tape thru surveillance and they never looked in any bag nor did they even pick up the bags to check what’s in them . Worst company he called the office for investigation into it and a driver calls him back and gives him attitude threatens him with non pick up and then hangs up the phone WOW . he’s going to post the video on YouTube and Facebook anyone else having this problem please help him out
Constantly misses pick ups for entire sections of our neighborhood then refuses to do anything about it. No credit, nothing. They just expect you to drag nasty trash back from the curb and store it in your yard until they do decide to come. Most of us have just started leaving it until the next pickup, which results in animals spreading trash all over the neighborhood. At this point, I couldn't care less. The city of Arlington needs to do something about Republic, as they are just as responsible for this.
I have been waiting on hold for over 30 minutes to speak to an agent about scheduling a bulk pick up!!! I'm VERY unimpressed with your office being able to answer calls in a reasonable length of time!! HOW DO I GET TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT A BULK PICKUP?????
Driver (commercial route)Soto in Grand Prairie is AWESOME! ARLINGTON trash crews are great at keeping our neighborhoods picked up and it is heavy. The supervisors and customers need to value the hard work the crews give rain, snow, and blistering heat.
Waited till the end of our contract to get rid of this company. They charged us $166.36 including $62.00 of fuel recovery and other fees for pick up service AFTER they picked up our dumpster. They only refunded $104.36 - the pick up service and not the $62.00 of extra fees! Contacted them and they said it is correct. Way to keep those EXTRA fees!
My account manager Jody Hill has always been very responsive to our business needs. He goes above and beyond and explains everything in detail. He will always email and follow up with a call to make sure we are taken care of. I'm glad to have Jody Hill as my account manager. He responds to emails and calls in a very timely manner. Kudos to Jody Hill!!
We’ve used Republic Services in two states. The service received in our current South Arlington location is ridiculously subpar. The drivers and additional crew are wildly unprofessional and are exceptionally good at doing the bare minimum. They leave a trail of refuse scattered along the road and littered in the ditch along side. The driver hardly slows for the crew to be able to pick up the receptacle to empty and now we were told that we were never to use a receptacle except for recyclables. Household garbage will only be picked up as bags left roadside, which makes no sense as clearly the crew is in too much of a hurry to actually stop. Having multiple bags lying about the ground requires more effort. We reported unprofessional conduct to the company who later deemed we were at fault and that they were the victims of our ignorance. Our questioning the crew about procedure and mishandling of our property is somehow unacceptable to Republic. Their employees displaying threatening behavior to customers and telling them there will be retribution is allowed. Shame on Republic Services for treating their customers in such a way. This flagrant lack of professionalism and laughable customer service is deplorable. Needless to say this customer is exploring other options.
We have been trying to cancel our service with them since April.. Three months and they do not return our calls and keep charging us. We wrote 3 certified letters and they ignore us. Horrible service (our rep. is terrible Patrick Barrett)
Very poor service. They’ve missed at least 10 pick ups in a span of about 4 months. Multiple times they have picked up my trash and most of it ends up on the street. Today they missed my trash and dropped half of my recycled boxes on my yard. Once again I called and explained my complaint and told the lady how they dropped cardboard boxes everywhere and she told me they would not come and pick it up unless I put all of them back in the bin. Do not go with this company. Poor service, poor receptionist team, very poor garbage truck drivers
Absolutely horrible service. They forget to pick up trash on our street in South Arlington. This has happened over five times in the last six months. I called them and they say they will resolve the issue but they never do. Trash pick up is always very late in the day even if it comes. When the sun starts going down all the neighbors start making bets on whether the trash will get picked up or not.
