THIS IS THE WORST TOWING COMPANY. OUR TRUCK WAS TOWED AND THEY TOOK OFF A PART FROM THE TRUCK. WHEN WE ASKED OF WHAT WAS REMOVED FROM OUR TRUCK ,THIS TOWING COMPANY COULD NOT PROVIDE IT AND ACTED LIKE IT WAS THIER RIGHT TO REMOVE THE PART FROM THE TRUCK . I called at 10:44am yesterday morning, got a GREAT quote. Called a few other places and decided to go with Denny’s. My fiance called them back this afternoon to confirm pickup tomorrow and he quoted him almost $400 MORE than the quote he gave me. I called him back from my phone and asked what changed; he said he’d “check his records..” (uh for what?) came back to the phone about 15 seconds later and said they have no record of my call yesterday…? Well… my phone does AI message records, sir. So I do. Maybe he gives lower quotes to women?

I spoke with Searra from the Ft. Worth location and she took in all the information quickly and professionally. She answered any questions for me and got the tow taken care of quick!! She would be a reason to use this service again. Highly recommend asking for Searra if you ever need these services!
Overall great experience from dispatch to our tow truck driver Nick. He provided excellent service and was very patient which was very important to me being a young female stuck on the side of the road. 5 stars all the way, couldn’t ask for better service.
They gave me quoted me one price and after the loaded me up on the trailer...i was told the price was doubled. I could understand if i had a long way to go but i was only 7 miles away fron the tow spot...afterwards i waited for a receipt but didnt get one...i guessss they want no record of the scam they pulled... bad business...i wish i could give them no stars
Terrible people to deal with. Their sign says 24hr but they close at 5.....sometimes. They usually leave earlier and blame you for not calling ahead when you get there within “working hours”. They won’t let you talk to a manager or the owners and they won’t give you any names of people in charge of them. They changed up the price on me 3 times! Once 20 min after the other. They were EXTREMELY rude and told me “I don’t have to me here” when she showed up to take my payment after I got there on time. One of their drivers even had to call and complain to them because I wasn’t the only customer waiting to be helped! All this AFTER they towed my vehicle from a parking spot I had a pass to be parked in. The pass was hanging from my mirror and they still towed me! They a crooks and I wish I could give them a worse rating!! The employees even told me the owners said “pay it or get escorted off the property” when I complained out being told 3 different prices!
If you doubt my opinion, look at all the bad reviews here. According to the “owners” response they are either fake, irresponsible or were “never” customers....how convenient
If I could have given Dennys Towing zero stars I would have. Let me explain.
I live in Arlington. I called in and gave the receptionist my address to pick up my car (car wouldn't start), and gave her the mechanic's shop name and address to take it to (well known shop, same location for over 30 years). Towing distance apprx 6-7 miles.
They arrived in 30-45 minutes, pretty good.
There was the tow truck driver and a helper. They winched the car up on the flatbed truck (car in neutral, correct). The car was then put in Park.
Ready for Fail #1...
Fail #1: Inexplicably, the helper apparently decided the car needed to be winched forward about another foot. So he turned on the winch again, pulling the car IN PARK (wheels screeching) forward, which puts a Huge radial load on the CV joints, drive axles, transmission parking pawl, etc. The other crew member yelled for him to stop. I guess the helper was oblivious to the possible damage that could be done doing this. This ends Fail #1.
Ready for Fail #2....
Fail #2: So with the car on the truck, they departed for the mechanic's shop. I followed in my 2nd car. After awhile, it became obvious that they DIDN'T HAVE A CLUE where they were supposed to be taking the car. They eventually turned into some long row of buildings, I lost sight of them, had to find a place to turn around (on a very busy S. Cooper St. ) and SEARCH for them. Finally found them, raised my arms as if to say :where are you going???",. Well finally I just told them to follow me to the shop. So this ends Fail #2.
Ready for FAIL #3....
Fail #3: Finally at the shop and car unloaded off the truck. Time to pay. I had earlier asked the receptionist (on my initial call) ,if I paid cash, would the driver give me a signed or initialed receipt verifying that I gave him the cash in full. Answer: "Yes, of course".
When I handed him the cash ($80) and ask him (nicely) if he would write something like "Pd cash 80" or "Pd in full, cash", and initial or sign it, he REFUSED, got an attitude, told me in no uncertain terms that he didn't have to do that. And he didn't. Drove off. End of story. End of Fail #3.
When I got home, I called Dennys, talked to the same receptionist, asked to speak to a manager or owner, of course the answer was "sorry, I'm the only one here ". Probably a standard tow company reply if they sense a complaint call. So I went into detail with her exactly as stated in all of the above. Asked for a call back from a manager, of course never received one.
So that's my experience with Denny's Towing. So bad. Obviously will never use them again.
Two stars was a hard decisions. The driver was excellent and deserves 5 stars. The dispatcher is another story. I called back after waiting an hour for the tow truck to arrive. The dispatcher said she had been very busy and the driver would be there shortly. Thirty more minutes pass and I call again. The driver arrives in 10 more minutes. Later I found out that the dispatcher never notified a driver 90 minutes ago on my first phone call. The driver had not had a single tow job that morning. What ever the dispatcher was busy with, it wasn't doing her job.
Im in awe of the rudeness to a paying customer. After they damaged my tire while towing my car that was out of gas, the white "owner" kicked me off the property, told me to stand in the street and even threatened to call the police while I was still working the claim on the phone with my own insurance company. Incredibly rude and unnecessarily unprofessional, when I had been nothing but cordial, even after they were the reason for my damaged tire and resulting added expenses.
Very nice people handling office STRICT but doing there job...lucky boss to have such a good crew...drivers as well. I will say I was very upset about my car being towed I was new in town and it was just there a couple hours if that but then again there was work being done on the freeway maybe I should have left a note for someone to give me a call... money makes the world go round they have to make a living to.. It's business.
Horrible customer servise, no one is friendly and they insisted on charging us $50 to move the car 3 feet, they didn’t offer any solution to us. Never using this place again. We had to hire another towing servise that would help and they insisted on charging them!
Don’t believe them if they give you a estimated arrival time, very nice and helpful people.
But it’s been close to two hours of waiting for a tow and I’m still here.
**UPDATE: Four hours no tow
I called to use this company because I was referred by Carmax. I made sure to get all the specifics on how things should be handled before the Dennys came to pick up the vehicle. Carmax told me that since I had both extended warranty through them and powertrain that the tow would be covered and billed through the dealership that is was taken to. This was at 5:00. I called and a Carson told me the same thing and the car was picked up promptly by Gary with no issues. I called the next morning because the dealership could not find the keys. I called Dennys to see where they were left. The man who answered was agressive and demanding payment. I told him what had happened and still demanded payment immediately. I told him that I would call both Carmax and the dealership and would make sure it was paid. He threatened to call the police on me for theft of service if he needed to. I told him again I would make sure he was paid and hung up calling him a name as I did so. He called back and threatened me again and asked if I had something I needed to add. I told him several times again I would make sure he was paid. I work at a professional office and have never heard of any business treating anyone with this amount of disrespect. It was completely uncalled for and will hope that Carmax will refuse to have an ongoing relationship with this company. Does not even deserve 1 star.
The manager is very unprofessional. Definetly should not have him answer phones unless he is given a script to go by. I cringe having to give them 1 star. If I needed a tow I would push my car before trying Denny's rude towing
I had a problem with my truck last night and then called around and dennys was the most inexpensive and professional people I spoke with over the phone. I was helped and my driver was incredible. His conversation from point A to B was great. And he was fast getting my truck on and then off his truck. Thank you guys and ladies. I will be giving you all business to whomever needs a tow.
I love this place, I've been towed multiple times by Denny's, speaking to different people and dealing with different drivers. The dispatchers are very sweet and curious. And fast. I called 2 times in 1 day last week and was picked up each time within 20 minutes each time. The prices are great. I would recommend Denny's to any of my friends and family. Called at 4:16pm keep in mind that im 20 yrs old and the lady on the phone said it would take only a few min for them to get here all i needed was my car to b towed at a mechanic shop 5 min from where i was by the time they got to me i was 80 yrs old thats just how long they freaking took..but 3hrs in 100 degree heat jus to b towed 5 min from where i am...sorry yall aint getting my money
My name is eric, tow driver billy #219 came and picked up my truck from 360 in a timely manner, give me suggestions about what my problem with my truck, he even drove my truck into parking space at my apartment. Billy was very fare with the price and didnt over charge me. If anyone ever needs a tow, billy #219 is your guy. I will use dannys towing in the future.
Very reliable company! They got to me right away the price they told me over the phone was great as well as the driver he was very pleasant and not too shortly after he pulled up one of the ladies I spoke to at first called me to make sure one of their guys made it out to us and this is the first time I ever had to call a towing company so I thanked her for checking up to see if he made it so I definitely recommend them to anybody
I've used these guys about 3 times now. And the last time I was stuck on the service road in cold rainy weather. I called my most trusted tow service again, and they got to me from Fort Worth to Arlington in under two hours. I've never spent more then $200 on a tow. Would recommend them to anyone. The drivers are nice, and the girl on the phone is always friendly. The trucks they use are very well kept, and clean as well. Anyone needing a quick and affordable tow should give these guys a call.
They were having a busy day but were able to get me and my car home and by the time I requested. The driver also was able to park my car where I wanted it even though he had a flat bed.
Best rates in town. Denise is the nicest person I have ever spoken to in the towing business. Have used them in the past and will continue to. Not your typical towing company.
I actually ended up having to cancel the tow guy, and they were so nice about it! I felt really bad because he was on his way, but the lady said she totally understood and it was fine. Sometimes when you are in a bad situation, just a kind word goes a long way. I'll use them next time.
Short- Overall, this company was professional, corteous and prompt from beginning to end. Also they saved me over $100, that I would of overpayed if I chose to utilize the company my roadside assistance provided. Overall, a great experience considering the circumstances. I am a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend this service to others.
Detailed- I turned to Denny's Towing after my roadside assistance quoted me a ridiculous amount of money for a cross-city tow (Arlington to Mesquite). When I called to price the tow the dispatcher that answered , Olga, was very friendly and helpful. She was tied-up wih phone calls and stated she would return my call ASAP. She called me back within 5 mins. She qouted me $100 less than what my roadside-assistance company and didn't mention any of the ridiculous fees I received from my insurer (Hitching fee, Cross-County Fees, Etc.) OLGA stated that the tower would be there in 30-45mins, he was there in 20 mins. CODY, the tow truck driver was VERY, professional, kind, and prompt. I was picked-up by a family member so I did not drive in the tow-truck. He informed me that he would arrive 10- 15 mins. after me since he had to refuel. He arrived as scheduled and was likely prompt with the drop-off.
Denny's Towing is the only towing service to do business with !!!. Denise is without question the most helpful and friendly person to speak with on the phone. She kept me up to date on my vehicle being picked up and dropped off. Completely understanding of what I needed to get my vehicle home. Denise worked with the driver and did everything possible to make sure I had no worries with delivery of my vehicle. The price was absolutely reasonable with the excellent quality service I received. I actually look forward to doing business with them again.
