The WORSE experience of my life. I was in major pain they could tell by my blood pressure never gave me anything for pain. The doctor came in to see me a total of 2 minutes didn't even listen to what I was saying to him. Then after sitting there almost 3 hrs came back in handed me some meds to fill said sign this release paperwork and that was it. I will never go to this hospital again was treated like pure garbage and no one cared about mu concern

It was one of the best hospitals I have been to. The made sure that all my drug and dye and other allergies got put in their system. Very friendly admitting department and X-ray department.

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Tammy in medical records is! She was so polite, kind, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process. Her friendly personality and willingness to go above and beyond made everything so much easier. It’s rare to find someone who treats you with such compassion and respect — Tammy truly made a difference, and I’m so grateful for her help!

I'm appalled by my recent visit of how my mom was treated at registration. One of her doctors didn't sign the lab work order (that they never have) but suddenly it was an issue. As I went to get her insurance from the vehicle they were being so hateful, "Do you even have insurance?" Just take these and take it to the lab and let them deal with it. I've never had a visit like this here and usually come from an hour away to come here if I am able because they are usually so nice. I'm sorry to disrupt their day, but the rudeness was uncalled for

My family was treated so badly because we were 13 mins late to our appointment only by the medical assistant. As soon as we came in, she was escalating to a point that being late shouldn’t have reached. This was my mother in laws second time being late to an appointment so she felt the need to degrade and talk to her like a child who was in trouble because being late would not to be tolerated… and when I said it was not fair because it was only 13mins late she chose to ignore me twice and pretend like I wasn’t there. Mind you she stated we had 15 minute grace period!? Everyone else has done such a great job, especially Dr. Lopez.

Over the past 10+ years, we have never received anything but top notch patient care at this facility. You are greeted with smiles at the door and at the registration desk and everywhere you go after that. We’ve had all sorts of procedures and even a few ER visits over the years and have found GRMC to be exemplary.

I have been a benefactor of Glen Rose Medical Centers, my Primary Care Physician, Laboratory, Radiology, Medixal Records, Registration Dept, Reception area is all a top 5 star!!! The newly added MRI equipment is wonderful to say the least!!! Top of the line!!!! Their Specialty Physicians Clinic is great for so many that need different Specialty care!!! The Glen Rose Medical Center in this remote area definitely a Diamond in the Rough!! I love it and all the different personnel are absolutely the kindest, helpful, you will find anywhere!!! Paid our bill and then 3 months later got a bill from Concord Medical Group of Texas saying we still owed a bill that we never even saw to begin with-scam. When I called the GR hospital to get proof of payment from them to send to Concord, I was transferred to someone who said we still owe that bill because it came from the doctors and not the hospital. Then called Concord and that girl didn't mention it was for the doctors like the guy from the hospital said. It's a shame this hospital in Glen Rose is tied to Concord Medical Group of Texas because clearly, it's a scam that's been going on for years if you read the reviews.

The doctors have all been very knowledgeable and the nurses kind with their care for my grandma. However the ladies at the front desk of the ER counter could do with an attitude adjustment. I am not sure why they feel the need to he rude to people that are in need of medical attention.

ER staff and Dr Bruce were quick efficient and professional in treating me for my heart condition this morning! Thank goodness nothing serious - but it was comforting to know the tests they ran and the diagnosis was thorough so that I left knowing I was good to go!

There are hospitals that simply treat patients and give a standard experience. This location, at this particular time, was the exception. From the young lady at intake to triage and the attending doctor, everyone was giving that little extra to make an ordinary experience to an extraordinary experience. Needless to say, we are very happy with our visit.

Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. Had a bad pain on the right side. They did a cat scan and blood work. Thankfully, nothing major came up. However, a few days later, I went to my PCP. They did a urinalysis, and it turns out it was a kidney infection.

A camping trip to Dino camping park turn scary when my daughter fell and needed to be seen. This was the closest to the campground. As we arrived there was one lady at the front doing the check in, she greeted us and started getting information. We were called to go in to be seen by doctor. My daughter was definitely scared, crying and screaming. Nurses and doctor were very calm and started taking her feel safe. Jennifer and Kelsee explained to her what their duties will be and helping her feel at ease. They were very friendly and overall stayed calm during a scary moment for patient and parents. Kaelee came by to take X-rays and hold her hand as she spoke softly to my daughter and also explained the steps she will be taking. My daughter was cold and she brought her a very warm blanket, providing her comfort. Once doctor Sydneer arrived, he as well explained what details, pain, discomfort she might feel along the process. Of course is never easy but they made it as comfortable as any parent will appreciate. Hope to never have another emergency but definitely had a 5 star service. Hoping bill is also as nice as their service.

After being in the er they mis diagnosed my wife saying she has muscle pain.horrible er visit and very unprofessional!!! The nurse was very rude.(blonde short hair lady) that apparently was never taught respect or decency.glad we went to another hospital because come to find out my wife had a blood clot that could have killed her! The dr was ignorant and told my wife she was impatient and then went to another room telling the people that the younger generations don’t know how to handle pain.I will never suggest anyone to go to this place and if your life matters to you I suggest you steer away also!

I came in for left arm pain, so bad I was in tears trying to control it. I stated that no matter what I did, the pain wouldn’t stop, it’s like it’s in my muscles. The nurse was very rude calling me needy because I had my husband ask for a pillow to try & gain comfort in a chair & tissues for the tears I was in. I was given an X-ray & told everything looked fine. The dr came in & told me “sorry you’re impatient” & sent me home with a muscle relaxer & pain pills. Two days later the pain continued with no relief from anything prescribed, I decided to go to a different hospital for a second opinion where I was given multiple test & was diagnosed with a DVT (blood clot in left arm) & prescribed blood thinners. My whole life has changed due to the pain I was feeling, & it could have been a different outcome if I didn’t seek a second opinion. I wish the er dr would have taken the time to listen & understand the pain I was trying to explain. I’ve always heard good things about glen rose er, but I personally will not go back.

Went to this ED for a snake bite in a child from the state park down the road. The ED Dr. was not comfortable or competent in snake bite treatment. They called poison control to ask what to do and then he called a helicopter for transfer. Hello?! This was not life threatening, no breathing problems, no reactions, just swelling and bruising as expected. To boot, they had the antivenum in-house for treatment. He also started to treat us very differently once we told him we did not want a vaccine booster, he pretty much just discounted us as not important at that point. It was almost like they are told to push vaccines and if you dont want it they don't want you. The ED nurses were nice and professional. They also took full labs from my son before the transfer and never sent the lab results, which made the receiving hospital have to start over for baseline numbers. Overall this was a zero star hospital. I work in a hospital and have for over 12 years. I am on the leadership team and I am very in-tune with quality, patient care and EOC. Going to this ED made me sick. If I had been the bite victim vs my child I would have walked out.

i would give this hospital 1 star if it werent for the incredible blonde nurse named jennifer. every time ive taken my mom here it’s been a traumatic experience but jennifer always saves the day, helps where others fall flat, and goes above and beyond to be comforting, informative, and empathetic. she deserves a raise. this hospital is still better than the granbury hospital. always choose the glen rose ER over the granbury ER. if all of the staff was more like the nurse i talked about, this place probably have 5 stars. Beth is not helpful at all. beware of beth. i told her my mom was bleeding out of her nose after a concussion & beth told me it was allergies. wack. anyways, im forever grateful to the nurse named jennifer (with the blonde hair, not to be confused with the other jennifer with brown hair who is not helpful) and if you get the pleasure of her helping you, you will have a good stay. many of the admissions nurses that sign you in the ER are also very sweet as well. i am always grateful to the medical professionals that treat their patients with kindness, thank you for everything you do.

Excellent care for my wife after she was hit on her bicycle by a speeding truck. Multiple injuries and surgeries followed and they were caring, professional, and communicated very well. They were responsive to her and to me when I needed info. We could not have been treated better. After a bad experience at the Granbury ER, this was such a huge difference.

The staff at Glenrose Medical Center are professional, courteous, and accommodating. Laura Hatch is excellent at listening, explaining conditions, and building patient-provider connection. Dr. Michael Davis is very knowledgeable and personable, although I did not spend as much time in consultation. The office staff are easy to work with and helpful.

This medical center is doing fraud! After my knee surgery my doctor recommended going to rehab. I randomly chose Edge rehabilitation center in McKinney Tx. I asked facility how much per sessions, they quoted $125 and with my insurance would be $25 co pay so I did 3 sessions. Very basic put your feet up and down sessions. When my explanation of benefits came from my insurance. I saw they have billed my insurance for more than $4000.00. And name of Glen Rose Medical Center sending the claim and codes( I never heard of this place before).

Nurses were great. ER doctor was terrible. I am a paramedic that went to the ER because i got hurt and my pcp was out of the office for Thanksgiving. I had a traumatic injury to my hip. Doctor did not look at it, touch it, any of the standards of care for a physical assessment. He looked at the Xray, said "it isnt broke and the er is not a place for pain management" and walked out. I was the only person in there and he acted as if I was bothering him. I will NOT take my enemy to that doc.

I had been taking my sick parents here for a long time because the granbury hospital has almost killed my very ill mother on multiple occasions and we have always demanded she be transfered to this hospital for best care i was never disappointed they helped my mom work out with her sister on paperwork when my mom wanted fo change her mind on legal paperwork about being ressecitated or else she wouldent be alive today. My father who recently past away from cancer was in and out of the er. And they too treated him with such delicate care. Thank you guys so much you have no idea how much it means to me for my parents to get the help they need.

went to this hospital because I was having flu like symptoms and the nurse and doctor were extremely rude! The doctor didn't even look in both ears or check my heart rate, just looked in my throats and said "oh nothing's wrong but we'll do a strep test anyway". I asked if I could have a paitent nurse because I hate the strep test(swab of the throat) because I gag every time,and he sent in this extremely rude nurse. Of course I gag (like I new I would) and she told me "You need to stop! You came to us! Let me do this!" ? Then after she was finely able to get the swab she stood there lookin at the other nurse rolling her eyes...has to be one of the rudest experience I've had at a hospital! On top of all that since the test came back negative they said there was nothing wrong and suggested some over the counter meds....smh wow! I do not recommend going! Especially not for children!

I had an amazing experience at Glen Rose Medical. I typically judge small hospitals but I was in a pinch and had to go here and I am so glad I did. My 17 month old burnt his hand on a curling iron and the staff was so kind and sweet! Our nurse was amazing with him and it was a great experience. We were in and our within 45 minutes.

Very disappointed. My 13 yr old daughter was examined a couple days ago. Extremely Sore throat. Congestion, etc. 10pm at night. To give you some reference as to how bad. My ex wife was provided a script for zyrtek. Two days later my child has all the symptoms of a sinus infection, and half way to Houston TX. I asked for an Antibiotic Script over the phone and was denied. She will need to see a physician again, before they will provide a script. The physician or administrator i spoke with that did examine my daughters chart indicated this would be irresponsible on the part of the medical center if they were to comply with my request. Do you agree?

It is a shame this is the closest hospital in Glen Rose especially if you are extremely ill. I have had a few family members go to this hospital and had been treated with no respect. I do not know how this hospital is still in business treating patients they way they do. They need to be trained in how to deal with human beings and stop treating them like they are an inconvenience. Avoid this place at all cost, I hope my family never has to step place in this hell hole ever again!!!!!

Avoid this place if humanly possible!! Terrible service and their billing department does not know how to keep track of your account. Years after being seen at this hospital they will continue to send you new bills that they "mistakenly" didn't collect already!! Even when you have proof of payment, you are told.. oh no this is a different bogus bill you have to pay. I cannot express the regret I have for ever stupidly stepping foot in this medical center. Drive what ever distance is necessary to avoid this medical center!! You enter it at you own risk. If I could give a score less than 1 star, I would.
