I visited this store a few months ago when my car developed an issue, and I wasn’t sure whether it was related to the battery or the motor. I arrived early in the morning hoping for a professional inspection and clear guidance. Unfortunately, the service I received did not meet basic expectations. The staff member appeared impatient throughout the interaction. After opening the battery cover, it was left loosely placed without proper care. When I asked questions, the responses felt dismissive and lacked professionalism. Customer service is not just about technical ability, but also about attitude and responsibility. I sincerely hope the store takes this feedback seriously and provides additional training to ensure future customers receive a more respectful and attentive experience. Maybe it’s just this one employee, and I just happened to get him.
Awesome staff—very knowledgeable and experienced. They almost always have the parts I need, and if they don’t, they can usually get them the same day. Great store for what ya need and always a good experience.
I had to go in for a check engine light that came on. Robert came out and did the OBD2 scanner and printed the report. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He assured me that I was safe to travel back home to Dallas to get the issue looked at there. I truly appreciated his professionalism and care.
I normally have more knowledge at places like this, then most of the employees they hire at places like this. The assistant manager at this O'Reilly's, ( Patience ), not only knows her job, and has above average knowledge of the business and products. She can even think out of the box. I have had to visit this store a few times a day, a few days in this last week. On the first of these visits, and each and every visit after it, she made me feel like I was the most important customer she had. While waiting in line during my visits, I was impressed even more watching her work with other customers. I saw that she treated every customer like they were the most important customer and VIP's in her store. O'Reilly, you hit lucky to get her on your team. Patience, thank you for making me feel at home and for going above and beyond with all your customers, me included.
Came in yesterday because they can do an auto Dx. Patience i think she was the manager if not she should be because she really knows her stuff. She gave me Dx and also helped with name's of auto places in town that could help get the work done. Unfortunately they were all booked up in Glen Rose and the nearest Auto shop available was in Stephenville 30 minutes away. JC's Automotive got me in and on the road in no time. Thanks Patience for your help i really appreciate all your help.
I thought I needed new wiper blades for my 2019 Ford Ranger, that I bought 6 months ago. Willie helped me find the correct blades and was going to help me replace them, he noticed the dealership left the plastic clips on the blades. He offered to remove them, had me try the blades and they worked perfectly! He asked me if I would like to return the ones I just purchased. He was super friendly and very helpful! Thank you Willie, you are blessing to our little community.
Hew was so helpful! Speaking for myself, as a female consumer automotive concerns can be daunting. I was so impressed that Hew took time to inform me about the product I needed to purchase and put my mind at ease about the reason my engine light was coming on and even showed me how to change the part.
Customer service like this is rare. Thanks for your help Hew! I will be back to O’Reileys Glen Rose with future automotive needs.
been here several times, specifically called in to see if they had oil filter for my truck before driving from out of town to pick up. both times when I returned home. they had given me the wrong filter.
We woke up with a dead battery. O'Reilly was one of the few open places in the area, so we headed over, and were helped by Hew, who was very friendly. He checked the battery, and was even so nice to install the new one for us when it appeared the battery had to be replaced. Excellent customer service, with special thanks to Hew!
I lost my gas cap and the man behind the counter was so helpful. He even walked to my truck to assist me in making sure it fit. Very nice employees. The store is very clean. Just glad I didn't have to drive to Granbury or cleburne..

I went to buy some seat covers for my Honda CRV 2014 and if they would fit my car. I even ask if they could show me how to put them on cause I'm 71yrs old and don't know how . No we dont do that here and they were to busy ordering their lunch .I will not go back and seat covers dont fit my car Very unhappy costermer .
The young man at the counter was great. Knowledgeable and quick with pulling my order. Even opened the door for me on my way out. For that I gave him a burn out in the parking lot. This guy is an asset.
We had a car issue while at Dinosaur valley state park. Got it going and got to O'Reilly and the sweetest young men helped us out. Couldn't find the part I needed without ordering the whole piece which I couldn't do today. They zip tied the cable to temporarily fix my issue so I could drive back to Mesquite safely. Thanks again to Dustin and Hunter. You blessed us much more than you realize.

Very unhappy with O riley's glen rose texas. I was sold a new battery for my riding mower about 17 months ago. They sold me a battery to replace the one I carried in. Have had several times that the battery had to be jumped off or charged. Last week a mower repair shop picked up the mower, it would not start. They call me to say that the battery that O riley's sold me was to small. It only had 230 CCA and the mower needs a minimum 300 CCA. O riley's would not consider warranty on it. They said that the battery only has 3 month warranty. This is ridiculous short warranty . It was O riley's that sold me the wrong battery. DO BUY JUNK FROM THEM
Dude with longhair suggested good inexpensive oil for my Massey Ferguson Tractor. Drained old oil, My mechanic poured about half in , read label oil was for Air compressor. Had to start over redrain oil go back to store buy Correct engine oil

Great service! I needed a new battery but wasn't sure what size. They picked out the battery, took out the old one and put in the new one! Great place, friendly people. I will definitely go back and recommend others to go there too.
