Chick in front looks at my husband and I as we came in and just looked down like she's busy or something no speaking and or asked if we needed assistance! Rude as hell and we left right back out ! Oh well was planning on spending more but I'll stick with O'Reillys!
Hire better help not a warm body
Manager does not know how to swap out a battery that is under warranty, and told me I have to drive to Corpus Christi to find a better trained manager.
I am disabled and don't get out much, so my wife got the van serviced {oil changes for as long as we own the vehicle} at the dealership in corpus christi and one of the several recommendations was to replace the battery for $$$. she knew the battery was barely a year old, so we checked our Autozone receipt, and off she goes to the local AutoZone to get it checked. the young man was most helpful and checked the battery. it did indeed need replacing. so we got a new battery, under full warranty. THANK YOU Portland Tx AUTOZONE.
My cousin purchased a battery from here 2 months ago. The battery stopped working and wouldn't take a charge. Upon arrival and trying to exchange the battery for a working one, it was discovered that the employees did not enter the item for a warranty or entered the information incorrectly. The employee even stated that they probably entered the information wrong and now they refuse to honor the warranty. There is even a manufacturers sticker on the side with a date of 8/23. It's currently 7/24. It's a shame they can't do their job correctly and have now basically stolen money from us. We will not be using them any longer.
Wouldn't take my oil to recycle it cause it had diesel fuel in it. They said its contaminated. Iv been working on diesels for over 10 years and have had numerous different companies come and take oil from shops iv worked and diesel fuel in oil is not contamination. Water in oil is contamination. Should probably educate your employees on some basics.
BEST. AUTO STORE. EVER! The friendly manager quickly and efficiently checked all my lights on my car, got the right bulbs needed, installed them, and tested everything before I paid. Checkout was quick and the price was lower than I expected. I offered a tip but was told "Thank you but No Ma'am, keep your money." I've gone to many other auto stores, but this store beats them all in customer service and friendliness! Thanks Auto Zone! You are my new go-to auto store!
Micheal Torres the store manager and Sandy gave me incredible service. I just lost everything in a fire In Portland Tx and he did the maintenance for free on my vehicle. I highly recommend this store for your vehicle needs. Not only are they very professional, but they are very caring. Michael, and Sandy thank you very much for everything.

We were out on vacation. While at the beach our car battery died. We got a boost and headed to autozone. We were worried cause we didn’t know if it was the battery or something else. Not only that but we had no tools to help remove the battery if it needed to be replaced. Well the man working there went above and beyond to help us. I didn’t get his name but he checked everything to make sure it was only the battery. He even brought tools out and removed it and replaced it. I’m so grateful to have had his help that day. After a long day in the sun and we had our kids with us. This man got us back up and running in like less than 20 mins. Thank you for your help sir!

I had the best experience. I needed help replacing my headlights and windshield wipers. Eddie C helped me with a super positive attitude. Not to mention it was Raining at the time!!! WOW this Guy Eddie C is Awesome!
This has got to be the best business that I have ever been in. I went in looking for a headlight bulb and was met by Collin. He was so professional, knowledgeable and helpful. This gentleman even changed the bulb for me. Just for the record, this wasn’t just any bulb; it was a $130 HID bulb that I would never have figured out on my own. He kept me from driving unsafe and having to go to a mechanic. Thank you . This AutoZone will be my go to for anything auto related from now on.
The people that were at the AutoZone really helped me out. I was happy they had what I needed and I was in an out of there. The people are very nice there and they take care of me. I would recommend this store very highly.
