I was flat out cheated here. I handed the employee $100.00 cash, he claimed I didn't so I gave another $100.00 Later he admitted he found the extra money, but the next day both he and the manager backtracked and said their "accounting was even". Bottom line -- I'm out $100.00, and they refused to make it right. Dishonest, unprofessional, and absolutely unacceptable. Customers beware.
Shout out to Kevin for getting me the correct Altenator, and even loaning a tool out for the job to get me on my way. Sure do appreciate the great customer service.

12/27/23 we traveled to Portland and unexpectedly needed a new battery. Stopped by the O'Reilly's and David was a complete life saver! Not only did he help us find the right battery, he even assisted with replacing it as we didn't have the tools! He was tremendously helpful & professional along with showcasing his amazing customer service skills! Our car's undercarriage came undone while traveling. We stopped at O Reilly's for the replacement part and Henry went above and beyond helping us! The best customer service we've gotten in a while at an auto part store! Thank you Henry for keeping us safe on our road trip and we truly appreciate you! We sent Henry lunch because he was so amazing! Employee of the year in our eyes!

I had 3 bad alternators in a row. I bought one from Advanced auto parts and havent had any issues. I filed a labor claim in 12/22 with the regional manager. I’ve called multiple times to this location and the manager. Each time they say they will look into it and no body ever gets back with me… this place will sell you bad parts and cost more money in the long run.
Great group of people dedicated especially the women Rick's awesome and the whole crew! They even help you with your light bulb and check your battery for you!
Went in bought what I needed. Asked for help to recharge my AC got told someone would be out shortly but nobody came to help. So apparently they only want to help the people they want to help and not give a ****about the rest. I had to get a friend's husband to recharge my AC for me. Not very good with customer service. If they weren't gonna help then they should have said so.

With exception of Robert, the Assistant Manager, this store and staff are extremely discriminating against the disabled. They ARE NOT disability friendly. Especially that employee Steve. Please, if you or someone you love is disabled DO NOT do business with company OR this location. Do not let your disabled family member go to this location alone. They will be treated unethically and immorally inappropriate.
When the worst one I've ever been to usually I have very good service when I go into Riley's this with the manager rather route while meeting to return something that would take it because it was electronics that is both me satisfaction guaranteed no satisfaction there will never be back and will not tell any my friends to go there
I want to give a huge thank you to the folks at the Portland, TX O'Reilleys. I was stranded in the HEB parking lot this morning and I called them. They sent over a technician to jump start my car. I went directly to the store and purchased a new battery. They removed the old battery and installed the new one. There was no charge for the jump start and also no charge for the installation of the new one.

Everything cost more here than other places. You are mostly paying for the convenience. I don't think there is another auto parts place in Portland besides the limited items at Walmart. The service is hit or miss, sometimes you get a knowledgeable worker, sometimes not. Next time, I might check Amazon first or try the other "auto store" in Corpus.
The staff is always friendly. The have the parts I need everytime I go. TBH I never need any special parts, it's always general stuff. I love their rewards program.
I got stopped this morning on my way to work because my licence plate light was out. I just left the Portland ORielys and Anthony helped me decide what light bulbs to buy, he even graciously put them on for me because I didnt know how to put them on. I have been to other ORiely stores in Corpus where the salesmen take advantage of females and sell us the more exspensive items because we dont know much about cars. I defiantly will be shopping the Portland store from now on.

I work all over the country and walking into this parts store was a totally different experience. The sales staff was quick, knowledgeable, and courteous. Unlike most stores of this automotive parts giant the staff put my concerns and needs first the second I walked thru the door.
Spoke to a store representative in town about replacing a part with a lifetime warranty. They verified that it could be replaced without any issue as long as the old part was brought in. When my boyfriend took it to this store in Portland they refused to replace it and claimed that they were the only store to abide by this policy and that he would have to go to another store. The next closest one is 30 minutes away. This was a complete inconvenience.
Needed to buy oil filter and oil for my truck. Parts guy took my info and gave me the wrong filter. Because of my work I have to do the oil change at night. After draining old oil and oil filter I realized the mistake made so I had to reuse my old filter with new oil. When I took the wrong filter back for exchange again they were giving me another wrong filter. I'm glad the assistant manager caught it and gave me the correct filter. When I asked about the oil he gave me one new quart to replace what goes in the filter. I don't agree. I feel he should have given me all 5 new quarts because my new oil has gone thru the old filter. I gladly would have paid half the cost of 5 new quarts. I will not use this location again. And have to remember to check my parts before I leave the store.
I came down from Austin with my daughter and my battery died. Robert sold me a new one and helped me put it in. He really went the extra mile to help us out! Come to find out we need a new starter as well. He gave me the number if a friend who will be replacing my starter tomorrow morning so we can go home. Thank you Robert you're the best!!!
last Friday, my hopeless mother went into your location per recommendation of a gentlemen at a local parts lot, after person after person told her the part she was searching for was a 'dealer only' part for her air condition. he told her that was a lie, and the part could be found at O'Reillys , even tho someone earlier, again, had told her no, they did not have it. after she was instructed to go in and speak with a gentleman named Austin. well, not only did Austin help her with the part shes been searching for from HOUSTON to corpus, he FIXED HER A/C. after the time shes had lately, and myself as well, I CANNOT express how much this means. I just wanted to make sure everyone knows what a HUGE DIFFERENCE this gesture made and how very much its appreciated. thank y'all so much keep up the great work, especially you Austin!!
