Had my truck worked on why buy a diesel performance shop locally and had my truck messed up by them they shorted out the ECM and cut all kinds of wires so I took it to JP Auto Diesel. Patrick did a phenomenal job on my truck troubleshooting and fixing the problem we’ll definitely be using these guys from now on highly recommend if anybody needs any kind of diesel work to talk to Patrick and Jim at JP Auto Diesel.
I would very much like to support small business and small business owners (its not an easy thing to do, I very well know), but I cannot in good conscience promote or suggest this location for mechanical work. I spent well over 20+ hours sitting in your shop on no less than 4 separate visits to fix a simple alignment matter. Still not resolved. I understand labor issues, and no shows, and I understand your shop equipment breaking. I cannot give grace and understanding here further- at some point accountability is simply the issue. Please improve, I know its a tough road.
Been there twice and worst experience ever . They had my truck for a week and never did any work charge me a 110 bucks to say what was wrong with it and never did any work on it . So I feel like I got robbed . Bad business, bad customer service
Had full service, oil and gas filters, brakes and rotors, tire rotation, tire air sensor malfunction, and all filters changed on my 2015 f250. JP auto was not only professional with their service but also gave me a quote before repair which I was very happy with. To top it off, when I couldn't find an Uber or lyft in the area, I called and they were happy to bring me to the shop. I won't be going anywhere else for service. Ive tried commercial ford in aransas twice and got burned severely. This will be the only.place I take my diesel anytime im in this area. Highly highly recommended.
Wish i could give 0 zero stars..the experience started off good..communication was good..I needed a transmission swap out gave me a price of $800 for 8hour labor ..so monday morning left my vehicle so the old transmission could be taken out and ready for the other transmission I was bringing I took us 4 hours to drive to pick up transmission and bring to shop..left transmission at 2:30 by 4:30 had a call saying transmission I bought was no good a torque pump they said but they never installed transmission they said as they were about to install something was lose and they said pump was slow even though they never installed..or flushed transmission.. or used the new transmission fluid I bough nothing but they for sure charged me that remaining $400 because I had paid $400 down when I dropped off my vehicle..there is no way he could have known the transmission I bought was no good..without installing I took me a lot of hours and long nights at our jobs to earn that money..Just to have someone ake your money and leave you in the hole once more never visit this place only had to be respectful because I wanted my car put back together properly sad sad business ? ? ? ?

The inside of my car had grease and dirt on the steering wheel and on windows and driver seat, I asked him if he fixed the starter, and he said
Lady, you didn't ask me to fix it, when I said yes did, said NO you didn't
But if you want it fixed
I will have to charge you the $100 fee to see what's wrong!!!!

I've been reading these negative reviews and I have to wonder what is motivation.l have been doing business with Patrick for 6 years and have never had any issues.I have a 2017 F250 and take it to him instead of dealer for warranty work because I won't have to wait 3 weeks to get the work done.
Been using J P for years. Even when Bobby had it. Paid them a lot of money and never complained. Called this morn for an oil change was told too busy to do it. Can I came thurs. Not good business. Patrick knows better. I have sent them a lot of business over the years. Not anymore. Lost me as a customer !!!

Had a starting issue all of a sudden didn’t know if got some bad gas or something had 8am appt they had it all day around 4 said it was ready. Ask what was issue and was told no issue that will be $100 bucks. Seems to be fine so I can’t really complain. Never want anything for free but $100bucks?

Traveling cross-country and found an ad for JP Auto & Diesel. Dropped in and got immediate and affordable pricing for oil and air filter changes. Followed up with finding a leaking radiator. This is on my 2011 F350 DRW, 6.7L V8. These guys actually had an OEM radiator in stock. Replaced and replenished the radiator over-nite for me. Excellent workmanship and very personable people. Thanks Patrick.
Just moved to the area and needed an oil change, trusted the reviews online and gave this shop a shot - so glad I did! Friendly, professional, and they had fresh coffee in the lobby! The secretary gave me a ball park quote before I arrived and my overall total was less than she expected. Will return soon for my total car diagnostic soon.
Walk in oil change in a very reasonable amount of time, included fluid level and tire checks, friendly employees, reasonable price. I will definitely go back. They also do car inspections on designated days of the week.
I came in with tire inflation issues, the owner had no problem adding air to my tires and did not charge me anything. I'm taking my f450 in to have my new tires put on the front and when I called the shop the mechanic on the other end said no problem just call when my tires come in and he will throw them on for me. In my opinion this is excellent customer service so I don't understand where all these negative reviews are coming from? My experience with this shop has been very postive.
Love Patrick and the crew there. They always take care of us and do good work. Truck, Jeep or son’s car, it has all been handled here. I recommend them to anyone.
They quoted my husband a price. Over charged him because of the secretary mistake. So they say. We don't mind paying what was quoted but someone else's mistake is just not right.
Patrick and his crew did a great job straightening out a previous mechanics mess. I had it in another shop and theykept it for 2 months replacing front suspension. When I got it back, it just didnt feel right and less than 200 miles later the lower control arm fell out (fortunately at a stop sign). After getting it back from this shop it feels like its old self again and at a very reasonable price. Thanks guys!
They ripped me off. I put my car in the shop because the steering was pulling to the left. turn them into the better business bureau. They lied and said that they fixed the problem that it was the road that was making my car pull to the left when my car pulled to the left all the way home from Ingleside to Aransas Pass on the new road on 1069. They are liers and they will say they did work that they didn't do
Patrick says the car pulls to left, we leave the car there for two days. Minutes after driving we hear a noise and guess what? The car is pulling to the left again. After confronting him he says the car had been pulling to the right and that he mispoke and claimed to have fix the right. Our invoice clearly states that it was pulling left, and when stated he said the invoice printed wrong and his says the right. I don't know if he thinks that we are to dumb to know that's not how clerical errors work or if he just enjoys lying. We will be visiting the better buisness bureau.
Long story short I'm now down 250 and the problem wasn't solved. I'd go elsewhere.
Patrick and his team were tasked with installing a lift on my 94 f350. This was not an easy feat,but they got it knocked out and the truck looks amazing. Awesome crew over there and great service. Thanks guys.
I took my truck here for wash,wax, and inside detailing. When I arrived to pick my truck up at first glance it looked nice but when I got home and did a better look I found out what a horrible job they have done and for the $100 it cost and 6 hrs left there with them what a disappointment. The floor was half vacuum and it had dirt and grass depree on carpet,front window was not cleaned, bug splat left on front end,tire still had mud on it,fender well was not clean,and truck was not waxed.
Bobby and crew have worked on several of my vehicles and I trust no other shop to complete the job in a timely manner at a very fair quote. Well worth the trip from Corpus Christi to Ingleside. He will get all my business.
