The service deserves only 1 star. They either don't know how to troubleshoot or they are avoiding the problem to charge you extra. I took my wife's traverse for a low battery warning. Took it to autozone and they said the alternator was bad. So I took to Autoplex by that afternoon they said it was a bad battery. I mentioned it tested good and the alternator was the issue. Ashley said they needed to replace the battery then they would check it again. Next day Ashley called saying everything is good it was the battery. So I left to pick it up and right before I get home the same problem low battery. Went to back to autozone and asked them to check it again. Same thing good battery alternator not charging. I purchased the alternator and did the work myself. Problem solved. That leaves me wondering do they actually test it or they just milking me for more money.

I had an oil change done on my 2022 2500HD 6.6 Duramax diesel and expected to have all the fluid levels and the air filter checked as part of the service. About 150 miles later I used the windshield washer and got a message that the washer fluid level was low, so I picked up a gallon and put it in. When I got a few minutes I checked under the hood only to find out that the coolant level and power steering fluid level were also low, and the air filter had went unchecked. I received a request for feedback on their service, needless to say, it wasn't a favorable review. I received an email from the Service Manager (Brian) asking me to contact them, so I did. Brian wanted to know more details, so I filled him in and he asked for a chance to make it right. I went back to Aransas Autoplex and met Brian and he immediately took my truck to the shop and made sure everything was taken care of and replaced the air filter at no charge. THAT is truly customer service and was handled very professionally. They admitted their mistake without question and took care of it. I will definitely be going there again for service. Way to go Brian, and thank you.

Discovered drivetrain issue in vehicle, took it in for an oil change and expressed the issue & concerns to Darrell. After looking into it he called me back and notified me the issue would be resolved under warranty. Great customer service will make me a repeat customer.

I brought my truck to the dealership twice, first for a check engine light i asked them to $200 and did not clear the code. Second time for an ecm theft deterrent learn $540 could not get that done. I thought we'll they are a chevrolet dealership they got this but no! The only thing that did accomplish is removing my oil which I did not ask them to do, they changed me for a new oil filter and when I asked them to remove the charge they offered me a gift certificate. The tech who worked on my truck on the second time said my engine was bad and needs replaced, this was not what I asked them to do, the oil filter at the end I am assuming was because the tech said my engine was bad all I can assume is he was trying to save face to his manager. In the ND I politely paid my bill and told Nancy I would not return to there location again for anything. The only employee they have that I have any respect for is Ashley. He was the only one that treated me with truth and respect. I will not do any business with a location that is part of auto nation, and I highly encourage anyone needing anything from a chevrolet dealership is to go anywhere else.

There are better options to spend your money with. As many have said the service department is lacking in many ways. My experience is they sell lemons and their extended warranties. If you don't get the warranty, they look at you like you're stupid, and you are.. for buying from this dealership and not one where the ownership is present and management care about their product and service. The salesmen are nice enough but there's a ton of bad reviews and here's one more for a reason. Go to Victoria or Port Lavaca like everyone else does.

Everyone was extremely nice, Only dissatisfaction was that when I called and set the appointment I told that person that I also had a rattle in the dashboard and wanted to have it looked at. Then, when we arrived we were told we would have to make another appointment for another day, Wish I had known sooner,

We had a mishap and needed some parts. Ashley in service was great. Very helpful. Ordered the parts for us. Parts came in a few days. Called us to set up a appointment. Very timely. Work was done carefully. If we need anything else while we are here as winter Texans we will not hesitate to go back

Worst company to take your car to took my car in almost a month ago to get something fixed said it’ll be ready by a couple of days then byanother couple of days then by the end of the week and here comes another week and then another week they keep pushing it back, giving me the runaround just a horrible place to bring your car in to get something fixed. Do not recommend.

This was our 3rd time in 2 days to secure our rental reservation with U-haul for a move after trouble with 2 prior locations. Ashley was the gentleman who helped us secure the U-haul and dolly, and he was PHENOMENAL at helping us get one rented. Very friendly, and very personable. Would do business with him again for sure! He made the transition seamless despite our headache.

Went in to have low coolant warning fixed. Brought it in on a Wed., was told it would be done by end of the day. No call from anyone on Wed. Called Thursday afternoon, was told it would be done first thing Friday morning. No call from anyone. Followed up two times via phone and one via text with no replies from anyone in the service department. Had to escalate to the service manager to get a response and status. So ya know, they suck.

Our experience with the service department has been highly frustrating. We had our vehicle towed into the dealership due to a major component failure - to be repaired under our extended warranty. Due to several delays with the towing company (not Aransas Autoplex's (AA) fault by any means - this was being coordinated via our insurance carrier), our vehicle arrived to AA (15 min from our home where the vehicle was located) close to 5pm (the initial incident occurred and towing request was made at 7am). AA received the car into the service area and advised they would inspect and start process to submit for warranty repair "if it was deemed a covered item" the following day. That statement set the tone for how our advisor handles customers unfortunately. The following day I spoke to Nancy (our designated advisor) who let me know that they would be looking at it and submitting a claim to the warranty company later that day. I called later that day only to be informed they had not finished the diagnostic yet and were waiting to get ahold of the warranty company still. The following morning I reached out again and was told they had contacted the warranty company but due to the cost of the repairs, an independent advisor was needing to come out to review the issue and approve the repair claim. At this point, we had been out a vehicle 3 full days and were at the beginning of the weekend (Friday). No loaners offered, and the warranty only approves 5 days of rental after inspection is done. I had to call the warranty company personally and get pre-authorization to get a rental car for my wife for the weekend so she could make it to work. Then, based on the repair being approved the following Monday, we didn't get our car back until late Friday (costing us 2 days of rental out of pocket). To add to the frustration here, every bit of the communication regarding our vehicle's status had to be prompted by my calling the advisor. Oftentimes multiple calls each day to get updates. There was little to zero outbound effort here on the dealership's end. They would say they were going to call - and never did. Come to the point of picking up the car after the repair is done and they hadn't gotten anything done with the replacement/ repair of the damaged wheel as "that's a different warranty and didn't appear to be a covered item - every other rim is spotless and the only one scratched up is the one that was involved in the control arm snapping). After driving off, we noticed that one of the automatic mirrors (the one on the side that had repair work done on it for the control arm etc) no longer functions. I called and was told I could drop off the vehicle for another 24-48 hrs for them to diagnose that issue and "see if that is a warranty item or not". It worked before they had it and now it doesn't. Also, it's a freaking mirror that doesn't operate anymore when the other side works perfectly. I supposed to not have a car for 24-48 hrs while it sits in their lot waiting for them to spend 15 min pushing some buttons and pretending to care for a $100 deductible. Just stop. I get it that it's a small town and staffing may be difficult. We aren't retired with unlimited free time and purchased max care warranties to cover any of these issues that pop up accordingly. Not to be hassled by the service advisor. My other vehicle is warranty serviced at another Aransas Pass dealership and that experience is night and day different. The advisors actually call you with updates. At AA, they say they'll give you a call, but you won't get one. I'm still waiting on a call from the service manager to rectify the issue. If you call them, they act bothered that they have to talk to you and do their jobs. As inconvenient as it may be, I would advise anyone purchasing a vehicle or needing service to take your GM product elsewhere. Unless you have the freedom to be stranded without a car and in the dark on it's repair status.

I had a great buying experience at Aransas Autoplex. I was in the market for a new Traverse but could not find one with the specific features and options I needed. I decided to place a custom order and was referred to salesman Jesse Green, who was very helpful and honest from the start. The ordering process took longer than expected, through no fault of the dealership, but Jesse kept me updated every step of the way. Joe was also very helpful with financing during the purchase process. I love my new Traverse and my overall experience at the dealership was very positive.

The service was good and performed as expected from a dealership (quality work). The issue I have is the estimate provided. The final cost was 100% more than the estimate. No extra work was needed so the estimate should have been very close as GM provides the labor estimate for work to be performed. I was shocked at how different the estimate was from the final cost! No estimate should ever be off by so much. Had I known that the cost would have been so high, I would have stretched the services over a couple of months. This kind of service forces me to now look elsewhere for service to my Chevy truck. Other places have been much, much closer to the estimate. This is a bad process! One good way to alleviate differences between the customer and the service representative is to provide a written estimate. That way you will not have one saying the other heard differently, etc.

Previous shop did not take of my issues. I had my truck serviced through aransas autoplex. I had a great experience l. Communication was great. Very respectable and professional. My truck was serviced and all issues were fixed. Thank you!

Everyone was courteous and professional. The work done was thorough. Since the bill was higher than expected I assumed it took more time to find my electrical short. Otherwise I'm completely satisfied and would definitely recommend.

We were from out of town and were having some truck issues. We drove over to the lot and met with Kyle. He showed us what was comparable and somewhat equivalent to our 2500 High Country. We chose a GMC AT4 3500, just an incredible truck! Kyle was very helpful with my questions. He and his team did a phenomenal job in making the entire process so easy. I would highly recommend giving Kyle a chance to earn your business.

I received great customer service from Larry, a great deal on a used pickup from Greg, and helpful payment support from Joe! There was a sensor that needed to be replaced and Danny made sure the best parts were installed correctly. I'm happy to have reliable transportation and am glad I bought from Aransas Auto Plex!

Rudy was very courteous and helpful with me as I bought my new 2023 GMC Terrain. The office staff made me feel at ease and worked with me during the buying process and what I wanted within a vehicle. Pretty disappointed in this dealership. Would not recommend them at this point, all buyers do your due diligence!!! Purchased a 2015 Challenger hellcat from them and was not made aware of the slight hail damage this car has. At least 15-20 hail dings all along the top part of car. You can only see in the shade not sunlight. Hail damage is a serious damage to cars, they can be totaled due to this kind of stuff. For them to sell me this car without any disclosure is insane. Paid good money for this car all im wanting is for this to be made right with some PDR to fix this. Salesman was not interested in helping and said he couldn't do anything. Don't recommend them at all. If i would've stuck with a reputable dealer like autonation this wouldn't have happen but decided to give this small lot a shot. Live and learn. Buyers beware! Surprisingly the sales MANAGER was no help either, made assumptions and was not even aware when i bought the car. Said 2 weeks ago when its been 6 days.... Steer clear of this place they just want your money and don't care about the quality or professionalism coming out of that place. Sad stuff to see. $50k car and they "didnt see" anything. Imagine what you're buying there for less. Sales manager hung up on me and no return call from the GM. People shouldn't get away with doing customers dirty like this. Bad buisnes all the way around.
