Quoted $60, charged $167. I was quote $60 over the phone to install 4 new tires including taking off the old tires and balancing the new ones. I was very clear and they confirmed it was $60 total. NOT per tire.
I was ther 30 mins later so its not like their prices would have changed in that time. They had me pull into the garage and started working right away. I went inside and offered to go ahead and pay. They declined saying they wanted to wait until the work was done. They had every opportunity to state a price or dispute the quote before doing the work.
When they were done I pulled out of the garage and went in to pay. A man (possibly the one I spoke with as there was only a man and woman in the office at the time) told the woman its going to be $167. Then quickly walked to the back.
I said. "Not mine, the quote was $60." He came back and tried to play it off like there is no way I can do it for that price. I said "I dont know what to tell you. I was quoted $60 for all 4 tires. I told them the sizes and that they would have to remove the old tires, install and balance the new ones.
He said. "Who did you talk to?" I said "I didnt get their name but it doesnt really matter. If you let people answer the phone and give quotes then its up to you to make sure they know what they are talking about." I showed them my call history showing I had called about a dozen other tire shops. I pointed to their number as the last one called. Then said "I called almost every tire shop in town looking for a good deal. You guy offered the best. So I came here. So I will pay you what was quoted and that's it."
The man acted very grieved and said it cost $5 a piece just to dispose of the old tires. I said "That's fine. I'll take them with me." He said "I could possibly do it for less than $80." So I told him. "I'll tell tou what. I'll give you $80 if you dispose of the old tires." He agreed and I paid $80 cash. They didnt give a receipt.
Maybe there was some legitimate confusion but this seemed very sketchy. They did good work and rather quickly. My only caution is that whatever you are quoted over the phone confirm it in person before they begin work. You should probably just record the conversation to make sure there is none of this he said / she said after the fact.
Was it even reasonable to expect the $60 quote to be legitimate? Yes. After calling a dozen tire shops I had quotes from $80 -$200. When i called them they told me that if I was there now I could pull straight in and they would get to work. It is completely reasonable that a tire shop with employees standing around would offer a good deal to get some business. Now had they actually meant $60 per tire that would have made them by far the most expensive place in town. So yea. The person on the phone knew exactly what they were quoting me. So again. Confirm the quote in person before work begins. Have a backup or two in case the in person quote is higher than over the phone.
Great guys, very honest and knowledgeable. Was having issues with a custom setup and Rudy knew what the issue was and how to fix it. Will definitely be going back.
Came in on a Thursday they did the inspection for free. Friday I had my upper control arms fixed in less than 2 hours. These guys are about it . I live 6 hours south of waco and it was hard to trust them but im glad I did. Im glad texas tires didnt help me the price was also fair . I will be coming back for more work when needed.
Best tire shop hands down in Waco Texas they have anything you can think of for your ride or Atv, they even change lawn mower tires!! The guys in the back are fast and take pride in their work not to mention the office staff are very nice & are knowledgeable about the best fitment for my ride.! Will recommend to anyone in or out of Waco anytime. Will be my go to shop from now on ‼
I’ve been here twice and every time the staff have greated me, I didn’t feel like I was just standing around. I’ve had quick service and the price has been reasonable. I highly recommend coming here for your tire needs
Owner gave me wrong size tires and rushed me out the door... I called the next day to mention to him that my car was wobbly he preceded to say only one tire was not balanced.... He took full advantage of playing me and taking my money ... 235 55 17 he gave me 215 55 17. This was definitely a hazard for my vehicle and was very careless about my safety just throwing smaller tires on my vehicle. My advice is do not go to this establishment point blank period.
Had a long day trying to get wheels on I had purchased. Discount tire lied and said they fit
I showed up to Rudy’s and explained my situation. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I was explained they wouldn’t fit, and actually SHOWN why with an in depth explanation, and was given a hell of a deal on wheels in house. Was done in a very fast timely matter and looked amazing. The spacers on the wheels as well made it look better.
The gentleman I was with made it his priority to make sure I had a solution to my problem, even if I had to take a trip to another business.
Rudy’s definitely has one of a kind environment and is a place I would hang out at if given the opportunity.
I appreciate the help from everyone at the front desk, and the nice short conversations I had with the shop guys. I will definitely drive 2 hours again to have service done by these guys.
Amazing company i was invited in by friendly staff shout out to rudy he is a great host and business man. I went in and spent over 4k on upgrades then turned around and spent another 1400 just because i was impressed with the quality and the friendly environment. Staff was knowledgeable.about the products and gave clear explanations. On the process,this of course made the process smooth.I will be doing business again on another one of my trucks in near future. Rock on and keep up the good work rudy and Elaine she did amazing also and deserves the upmost respect of our community.

I got a screw in my tire in Waco, and live 40 minutes away. My tire was flat and I pulled next door to TEXAS TIRES(‼DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT PLACE AT ALL‼). Texas Tires did not have a used tire, only new, which is all I could afford today. They refused to patch my old tire for me(they said they won’t patch old tires, I would have had to buy a new one)so I could safely get myself and my two toddlers and teenager to a different tire shop to get a used tire. They told me I’d have to get a tire somewhere else and I even told them I would pay for the patch AND tip them for doing it, I just didn’t want a blow out on the way to the next tire shop . TT told me it wasn’t there problem. They were terrible THANKFULLY RUDYS IS RIGHT NEXT DOOR, and they have GREAT guys working there, a great selection, and actually care about their customers.
The guys at Rudy’s were so nice. They had the tire I needed, sold it to me for a GREAT price, and even told me they would sell me a set for a deal when I get paid next week so that all my tires are good. 10/10 experience. If you are by the autozone and need a patch, have an emergency, or just want to get new boots for your ride ride on past Texas Tired and GO TO RUDYS!!!

I came to Rudy's to get new rims and tires for my truck and am happy with the results. While I knew I wanted new tires and rims and had an idea of the style, I didn't know exactly what I wanted. Elaine helped me find the right rims from their suppliers and helped me save some money as well. They also suggested a 2 inch lift on the front which worked out great.
I messaged Rudy’s on facebook to get some pricing for a level and tires. They responded quickly and were super polite in dealing with me changing my mind on which tires/level kit I wanted to go with. Once I got to the store, they displayed the same great customer service that I experienced while messaging them. On top of all that, my truck looks fantastic after everything was installed!!!! If you're in the market for anything from tires to a lift kit, I highly recommend giving Rudy’s a call or message! I wont take my trick anywhere else after this!
Was driving from Austin to DFW this past weekend and our car's tire pressure light was coming on despite filling the air a few times. Decided to stop by here at Rudy's One Stop Tires in Waco to get it checked out. The gentlemen diagnosed the problem, showed me the tire (which had a bubble/tear in it), offered to install a used tire, and swiftly installed it. I was on my way in no time. Highly recommend this place! Great service!
Got two of my back tires replaced, everyone there was absolutely wonderful to me; friendly and welcoming. Something went wrong with one of the tires later that evening (it was a used tire so it happens) which is no fault of theirs and instead of jumping on here and making a bad review like most people, I messaged them and they did everything to make it right. Will absolutely use them again, they care about their business and their customers! Thank you for all your help and accommodations.
$1600 for 4 recap tires, one of which had to be replaced because it was dry rot. So now I have 3 recaps and one other brand of a different size! Was going to get a lift, new rims and new tires from them in a few months. Will be going elsewhere for that for sure. Highly suggest others do the same.
They did an outstanding job! I never felt rushed and they took their time with me. They even spent over an hour with me going over prices and different packages. I would highly recommend if your thinking about getting a lift/wheels or tires.
I drove six hours from midland to have my lift and wheels put on and we were sent the wrong spindles. Only having 24 hours off and having to drive 6 hours back to midland for work Rudy’s overnighted the parts I needed got the job done and me back on the road. Not only does my truck look great but the customer service at Rudy’s is outstanding. I highly recommend them
THE BEST tire shop in Waco! I was in and out in 10 minutes, it was only $20 for a patch and to take off the spare and reinstall the patched tire. The staff was kind, friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. I will be recommending this place to anyone I know with a tire problem!
Spoke with these guys online and on phone both times great attitude towards my particular issue and a possible resolve, requested I visit for a true diagnosis from our convos...this shop will walk you through the possible and variety of outcomes to help out and aliviate problems. While I was there the staff made great efforts to comfort me while my vehicle was being worked on, not many true shops in these days anymore where they really do try to help .and offer a sort of confidence...this is the shop...on a side note took my vehicle in due to a installation issue from the dealership and these guys give me the straight information on what a possible fix could be and had me out of there within a few hours. I highly recommend you try this group out. Super nice. Extremely Painfully friendly...

Guys did a hell of job, they also let me know in advance about some old worn out parts i should consider replacing that they noticed while they were doing the job, those little things go a long way, and it could have been worse if i didn’t know anything about how worn out they were, its the little things that count, i appreciate them for giving me the heads up! Huge thanks to the guys that did the labor as well as Rudy and Dominique’s help for ordering the packages and choosing the wheels and tires that would match the truck along with the 6 inch lift! Thank y’all for everything, will do business again in the future for sure!
