Affordable transmissions is A1 in my book! I paid someone to fix my tranny in my classic auto and they just put a Band aid over a bad sore! Mr. Clint and his crew came in and truly handled there business! I could not be more satisfied! Thx you gentlemen and I will recommend this business to anyone that has transmission repair needs!
We were on vacation in Waco and as we were leaving town our van wouldn't get out of 2 gear. We called several places and Affordable Transmissions was the only place that could fit us in. Clint had a full schedule and made it work to where our van could be repaired in 2 days. He was very nice and his work is excellent. Highly recommend! Thank you so much Clint!
I needed a Subaru CVT transmission replaced. All resources told me to go through the dealership. That would have been around $9000. I did some looking and found a transmission from B&B Auto parts. Brought it to these guys and they swapped it, no problem. I'm at ~8000 miles on the replacement and have had zero issues. Highly recommend based on this experience and based on who recommended this business to me.

My daughter is in school in Waco and had a dead battery. Since we live in another city, she needed someone to replace it for her. I called the shop and Clint was super helpful. He told me to send her right over and they changed out the battery in no time! She said they were very kind and got her in and out quickly since she had to get to class. I highly recommend this shop!

Was caught in a pickle with my car on my way to Dallas and came across Affordable Transmissions & Mechanical, and the gentleman there were so kind and quick. I was in and out in ten minutes and can’t thank them enough for their help!

They worked on my truck 5 times on my transmission the 5th time i drove it to new mexico the transmission broke in half cause of the u joints was loose a part they take off all 4 times so i had to buy a new transmission and ship my truck back all a big total of 6500.00 had to pay them to change one you joint after i got it back from them loosing my warranty with them cause it was another transmission i still had to take it to another mechanic they didn't tighten everything to the transmission so it would probably break again and had to replace all my you joints that they still didn't tell me about bad business
That is the most amazing shop I've ever been to in my entire life I was broke down on the highway they had a wrecker pick up my car within an hour they had me on the road an hour and a half after that I've never seen a shop care so much about people and their time
They’re fast and cheaper, but have had to “rebuild” mine twice already and I just got it back out of their shop, 5 days later it’s out again. Don’t know what they’re putting in there but it’s not quality. You get what you pay for.

They were the cheapest shop around and I took my car in at 8am and they called me at 225pm to tell me my car was done. Fast service and very affordable. The lady there was very friendly.
My granddaughter Nissan Sentra transmission went out called around to get cost affordable transmission was best price. They got car on a Friday the next Tuesday called said was ready !!!! Highly recommended them there’s a lot of the CVT out there in Nissans they are very short lived . Nissan dealer warranty 12 months or 12000 miles Affordable Transmission 24 months or 24000 miles ! Happy Grand Parents !!
Took my son's car in Monday for transmission rebuild got it back Thursday and it runs like a new car...the customer service is great and great quality work
I've brought my vehicles here for years and Clint and his crew have always taken good care of me. I'm a shade-tree mechanic and bring stuff to them if I don't have the time or lack the tools/skills for a particular job and they haven't failed me yet. This is an honest shop that won't recommend you work you don't need, and always gives you an honest assessment at a reasonable price.
I love this shop. I've ONLY used Clint and his team for the last 8 years. I refuse to go to anyone else. I've had the same car for the last ten years and have never had to do the same repair twice. Clint and his team always keep me aware of what maintenance needs to take place in order to keep me and my family safe. If I could give them negative 5 stars I would. I got my trans rebuilt over a year ago soon after I was sent to arkansas. After the rebuild I fel a hard jolt every time my atomatic trans shifted gears and it clunked whenever I let off between 3rd and 4th gear. I called the owner and he said that it was because it had new gears and it's gonna happen until everything breaks in. 6-7 months later I'm still experiencing the same issues I give him a call and I explained my situation again and that I was in Arkansas and I couldn't get leave anytime soon and that we should figure a shipping option due to his failure of quality service ,he tells me that he is eating dinner and that we will talk more the next day. However! The next day comes and as you can imagine he forward all my calls and when I called the shop number he would hang up. Now I'm having to pay more money to have my trans fixed right. There is a difference between a professional and a guy who worked a shop for 2 years and thinks he's a pro and starts his own shop. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! They're are many great professionals in Waco TX!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT AFFORDABLE TRANSMISSIONS!!
My 2008 jeep tranny was slipping O/D took it in to clint seemed like a nice enough guy left my 20,000 harley for colatterial long story short that was dec. Its april and my transmission is out... he wants me to bring it to waco which I cant even get it in over drive.. he wont give me a car ir a rental. he said he put a cooler on and theres no cooler. He said he rebuilt it but another tranny shop is telling me different. So 1800 later I have to turn around and spend another 2000.. I wouldn't recommend this place at all unless u want to spend another 2000 somewhere else!!!!
