The employee were very personable and service was great. The pricing was resonable and included more vehicle care than the last place i went. Was half the price than the chain stores. Definitely recommend.
Mike was super helpful in dealing with a pair of separated tires. He checked with the supplier and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

Called for oil change on my vehicle was told by the receptionist that I could bring my vehicle in but it might be a while before they could get my car in got there it only was a 15 minute wait time overall time to finish the job was 30-40 minutes which I thought was very awesome!!
I have been using Texas Star for a few years now and always have a great experience with them. Jennifer and Mike have always shot it to me straight and even told me that I would be better off doing some repairs myself to save money. will always take my truck to them!
Texas Star has always taken care of our cars and trucks. Mike gives us options: what needs to be done now, and what will need to be in the future. He helps us prepare and budget for repairs.
They are amazing. Came in to get my tire patched but found out I had a nail in the side wall so they helped me find a tire shop that had my tire size that was in my budget and kept my little one entertained while we worked on finding one. I appreciate everything they did for me today. Thank yall
I took my King Ranch in to have some front end work done . When I picked it up my KR hub caps were gone! I did get one back On the passenger side front nothing! On the rear they installed some faded plastic hubs. I had front end work done why would they even remove the rear? I made contact with front office who was unable to find the caps I requested the video be reviewed again unable to help, also asked for the owner to contact me. Front office said she gave him my number but yet I never received a call. One week later I call for the 4 th time and was told by front office “ I’m unable to help you”. Incompetent comes to mind.
This shop was fast, convenient, and price was definitely worth it! They took us in right away and the staff was very nice. Seth the tech did a great job explaining the alignment details of our car! Recommend RNR for sure! They do a variety of services and they're open on weekends too! We found our go-to tire shop! Great place!
The staff and technicians at Texas Star did a fantastic job fixing up my 2009 Honda Pilot. Being an older model vehicle, sometimes I wonder how difficult it must be to find parts for a foreign vehicle that is 15 years old, but the amazing technicians at Texas Star found the part that I needed, replaced it, and were able to get me back out on the road in no time. Thank you, Texas Star. I have found my new mechanic shop.
Definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had for auto care. They went above and beyond on my oil changed. They are very reasonable in pricing and I will for sure be coming back!!
I had a coupon for a free oil change, once arriving I was told that my car only takes full synthetic oil so my oil change would be $55 and the coupon would take away $20 of that. I had an appointment at 4:30 My car was not even taken back until after 5:00, When it came time to pay I was charged a total of $77 which they took $20 off of for the coupon and then some more for being so long with my car and the total ended up coming to $48 which is not what I was told in the beginning!!! They also didn't inform me that the cost of oil change did not include the oil filter which is absolutely crazy!!! I don't go to shops very often and this is the reason why, I do not recommend going to this place!
They are great! They let me know that getting an alignment on my truck will be useless unless I fix ball joints and tie rods first. ... better than Jessie bits! Thanks you texas, star, for being honest. :)
My daughter had a large screw lodged in her tire. They were able to get her in right away and fixed the tire free of charge. Everyone was friendly and customer service oriented. I appreciate them!!
Was a little skeptical of trying new places after the shop I’ve used for years closed down. They quoted me the BEST price in the area for the Job I needed done. They confirmed the problem in under a hour, ordered the parts and got them put on just as fast! The front office lady is also very nice. My AC is working again and I am an happy customer. Affordable repairs and fast service. Would definitely recommend
I took my car in for a clutch replacement. It took 2 and a half weeks to get the car back after being told “it should be fast since it’s a 6 hour job”. It was about $2,300. When I picked up the car it seemed great. I drove it home ready to take to work on Monday. I got about 35 miles away before the clutch started slipping in 5th gear. Out of fear of trying to get it back while driving, I had it towed back to the shop (another $400). I called to explain the issue and they seemed kind and willing to look at the problem.
After another week of not hearing back I called to get an update and they said it was the new bearing. Since the work was still under warranty, they ordered a new kit but said they forgot to also replace the shift fork. So they needed to add that onto the total. Another $105. They couldn’t give a timeframe because they had to wait for parts to get to the shop. The car was there for another 2 1/2 weeks. I was unable to pick up the car during store hours so I told them I would pick it up on the weekend. When I arrived to pick the car up, it wasn’t even on their lot. It was next door in the Dairy Queen parking lot. When I went to start the car it would reverse. I tried other gears and it would shift into any gear. When I looked down at the pedal, the clutch pedal was down to the ground and not coming back up.
I left the car and called back on Monday to explain the issue. He said he’ll look at the car and let me know. I called back a few days later to get an update because no one had called to let me know what was going on. He said it must be the master cylinder but and said he would replace that at no cost to me. At this point they have had my car for almost a month and a half. The 3rd and final time the car was picked up, the clutch was slipping in 4th and 5th gear so I again had to have it towed to my brother house. Another $550.
This is A car that I drove from California to Texas just a month before. I had the car tuned up before I left California and my original mechanic said it would make the drive but make sure I get the clutch replaced once I got to Texas. As I was told by my trusted mechanic that I used for 3 years, it made the drive with no problems. I was able to replace the clutch myself with a new kit that I paid for and now the car runs smooth and I haven’t had any problems. I didn’t notice the bearing was still broken, or maybe broke AGAIN, but also a few other things that were not correctly installed.
So after $3,505, I asked for a refund of the $2.405 that I gave them to fix my car and I was denied.
I would NOT recommend this place.

They are Extremely welcoming and diligent . My car drives smooth as well and driving tremendously better then before thank you for your continuous communication and care for me and my vehicle . You guys will be my forever car shop !! Your service is the best in the world ! Never felt so comfortable price is right and most definitely service is too . If you are looking for a reliable trustworthy caring shop this is the place to be best in town and best in Texas you won't be disappointed ! Both MIKES are amazing quality of care can’t be beat !! Exceptional service! Mike was incredibly helpful in diagnosing the issues I was having with my car. Unfortunately my car was beyond repair. Mike gave a recommendation to a reputable salvage yard that could buy my car and haul it off. He offered to call on my behalf so I took him up on his offer. He went the extra mile to help me and I appreciate that.
We have taken a couple of our other
vehicles to Texas Star and have been very pleased.
I have been here two times and both times I was taken very well care of! The staff is very friendly and have a family style type of environment that makes me feel at home. Not only was my vehicle taken care of but the mechanics are very honest people! I trust my vehicle with them 100%
