Stopped in to get a tired fixed at 9 am. Was told i had to leave the tire and it might be ready by 7 PM. I have warranty on tire and they were bought 2 weeks ago. Pretty sad they could not get the tire done until 7 pm. I could not wait that long we were up there to move our daughter home and was not going to hang out there until 7 them drove 6 and a half hours home. Took the tire to discount and they fixed the problem. It was only a bed valve stem. Pep Boys lost a customer today but I am sure they really do not care.

We are 4 hours from home amd needed new batteries. We went to the AutoZone across the parking lot and they wouldn't change our batteries because of a fuse box locations. Said it was a liability. We went to this Pep Boys and they were FANTASTIC!!! The young lady at the desk was as nice as could be and they got is right in. I will highly recommend them!

Customer service rep in the front was amazing! Great customer service let me know about a coupon I could use and took the time to find it for me. He was very informative as well. Also the place was decorated for Halloween and it looked so great!

These guys are great. Came in for a brake inspection. They didn't try to up-sell me on anything I didn't need, and walked me through what they would do if it were their own truck. Very appreciative of them. I will go back to them when I need my next brake maintenance.

Chains weren’t up and I’ve never been here before so drove in where I thought tire service was. Assistant manager tossed his arms up with an attitude like I should KNOW cuz I WORK THERE and I don’t. Had an appointment at 4. Didn’t get anyone to even just LOOK at my tires til 4:48. That’s insane. There was one other vehicle in the bay. The assistant manager, a two guys plus the guy at the desk. One guy sitting down. When asked the manager he gave me attitude and said he only had one guy. Oh really? That’s funny. I counted 3. Including one sitting in the bays. And what was the manager doing that he couldn’t literally just look at tread of my tires? It took two seconds. Maybe the guy sitting is on a break but we’ve been here almost an hour with him sitting so there’s that. Customer service here is just trash. And for someone that has the safety checklist posted inside yall sure don’t follow it. Front desk guy was nice!

Awesome guys and great service. AC issues and only paid $49 for a diagnostic while christian brothers wanted $160 lol. Got the evap recharge for a bit over 230 in total with my military discount.

It was a decent place to go for the service.They have been short staffed since last year. The wait is ridiculous even if you have an appointment( two hour wait) then why get an appointment.

Charged 24.37 to fix a flat ; and took almost 1 hr to do it .... Discount Tire fix a flat for free but they were closed on this day as was a holiday ; guess can't expect fast service on a holiday from pep boys

Update to review (story below). Corporate is doing what they can to try to make things right. They issued a refund check that should arrive in a couple of weeks. Will continue to update this post when refund check arrives. Brought car in to have front end aligned. They messed with aligning back end and then told me they couldn't align front end because it needs a cradle adjustment and that the camber is out so they can not align front end until i go to a body/frame shop and get a cradle adjustment because in their "experience" it usually means that something or the frame is bent when it needs a cradle adjustment. Still charged me $124 for an alignment and 30 day warranty. So i took it to Smith Auto in Slaton because I know the guy there that does alignments can also fix what might be wrong. He told me that the camber was within factory specifications and that there is no need to touch the cradle. He then told me that the rear end was out of alignment when i know that the dealership is got the car from 5 weeks ago aligned the front and rear. The only reason I needed a front end alignment was because we replaced tie rod ends on the front and never touched the back. So that means that pep boys moved the rear end out of alignment. So I had the alignment guy at Smith Auto document all that he found, then go ahead and do a full alignment. I took the records over to pep boys and asked the manager for a full refund since they not only did not align the front end but also took the rear end out of alignment. The guy I spoke with was wanting to deny any wrond doing or error on their part, of course. All I am asking for is a refund. He said it would take some time but he would put it through to corporate to see if they could do a refund. So I am posting the details and putting the info on social media to let everyone know what happened. When pep boys gives me a refund, then I will make edits, but not until I have the refund in my account.

I needed new tires, but my engine was also overheating, even though I just replaced the radiator cooling fan. I had never used Pep Boys before, but this location was very close to my work and house, so I thought I’d give it a try. Assistant Store Manager, Brandon, was incredible throughout the entire process. He communicated with me at every step along the way, and his character is beyond reproach. Friendly, transparent, empathetic, and reasonable. I will definitely be going there for future auto repair needs and will be telling my friends about it as well.

5 stars the only place open on July 4. Has a terrible night and they fixed my flat tire and oil change, cabin air filter and windshield wipers and all under an hour.

Brought my car in for a service...they charged me $300.00 it wasn't fixed and then told me that I needed to take it somewhere else to get it fixed because they don't offer the services there! I called them to get my money back and they tell me they didnt diagnose my vehicle so they couldn't give me my money back!!

Don't get tires at Pep Boys, 3 tires with 2025 dates within the last 3 months and 1 with 0924 stamp. That tire is 16 months old. They Refused to replace it and argued that 09 was the month not week. I pull a travel trailer and Work on the road. I needed new tires for safe traveling. I had asked about the tire dates before the install. Sales women assured me they were this years/new. Extremely dissatisfied with my purchase. When I went back to request it be replaced the salesman stated that he has up to 5 years to sell tires from his racks. Be Aware you may get an old tire!

I'm sharing again to express that after a week of having my car back from them my car battery died at work. They didn't tighten the terminals on the battery before returning it to me and they didn't put a panel back on the inside of my car. God knows what else they didn't do before giving me my car back. I really hope nothing else was left undone that causes me to have further issues.

Dear Pep Boys Team, I’m writing to express my frustration with the extremely poor experience I had at your location regarding an alignment service. From the moment I arrived, the service lacked professionalism and basic communication. I scheduled an appointment in advance, yet still had to wait an excessive amount of time before my vehicle was even brought into the service area. Once the alignment was supposedly completed, I was not given any clear documentation or explanation of the results, and my vehicle continued to pull to one side—indicating that the alignment was either improperly done or not done at all. When I returned to address the issue, the staff was dismissive and unhelpful, showing little interest in resolving the problem or offering any form of accountability. This level of service is unacceptable and far below what I expect from a national automotive chain. I trusted Pep Boys to provide a basic, essential service, and was left feeling completely disregarded and inconvenienced. I hope this feedback prompts internal review and improvement in service quality and customer communication. I would appreciate a response and a resolution to this issue. Sincerely, London Hensley

Not a bad shop to use. $780 to diagnose and replace mass airflow sensor and clean fuel system. $500 would have been more inline with national average for same service.

Paid $110 for an engine diagnostic, after which they said I needed my fuel pump replaced and quoted me around $750. I had my car towed home after finding out that it shouldn't cost that much to replace a fuel pump. Luckily I ended up finding out what a fuel pump shut off switch is and I reset it myself in a matter of 30 seconds. I dont know if they just forgot to check the switch or if they were trying to scam me out of my money and my working fuel pump, but neither of those possibilities sit well with me. The staff seems nice but this ordeal rubbed me the wrong way. Also, the diagnostic said I needed a couple of filters replaced, but one of them was just replaced a month ago. My idler pulley was also replaced by someone else a month ago, but ever since the diagnostic with pep boys, it has been making weird noises again.

This was my first time going to Pep Boys. I made an online appointment to have my Tahoe AC checked. When I arrived I was met by Doug Abram, the store manager, and he let me know their AC tester was down. He allowed me to explain to him what was going on and he and another mechanic went ahead and did a visual check and test to see if they could possibly identify an issue. To make a long story short, his recommendations and repairs got my AC running better than it ever has and ICE cold! He was great at communicating with me and didn’t make me feel like any repairs were unnecessary. I greatly appreciate his professionalism and I will definitely recommend this shop to anyone needing repairs. Thank you!

Had my ac repaired and an oil change. Got home and woke up to what appeared to be an oil leak. Called the manager and he asked me not to drive the truck before it could be looked at. He gave me a number to call for a tow. The tow people wouldn't assign a tow, said tge store had to. Finally got a tow date and time. They didn't show up. Called next day and manager was off so the store contacted him to set up a tow. Still didn't happen. Day 3 I called a tow truck and had my truck taken back to the store. They found the leak to be the water pump, not oil. Given up over $1400. in repairs but believe my truck is fixed. Good news... when they did the ac and oil, they did it in less than 6 hours and I had it back. Once they received the truck, when being towed, they got it in and had it ready in 7 hours. Good people... second issue was not their fault. The store manager went above and beyond!

Made an appoint for a simple tire rotation arrived 15 Min before appointment time and was asked if I was dropping off. I replied no I would wait was told it would be 1 hour before they could start. What’s the reason for appointment that was scheduled online. Will never return.

SCAMMERS DON’T GO HEREthis place is a joke that will leave you with a big dent in the wallet, do you wrong and take no accountability for their actions. I took my car in for a simple engine diagnostic/oil leak on October 15th, when I took my car in I was quoted $99 for the engine diagnostic by the manager Doug I believe, I agreed to it and he told me he would get back to me with what was wrong with my car which he did pretty quick the same day I was then quoted a little over $2500 for the repairs on my car Doug told me I had a oil leak and that I needed to change my spark plugs and some sensors in the engine. On October 18th pepboys called me and told me the car was about to be done so I asked if I could just go pay for the repairs then get the car later because I was at work in a different car they said that was fine so when I got to the pepboys they told me the car wasn’t ready and they where having trouble getting it started they told me they would try to get it working by the time they closed so I could go ahead and pay since I was already there so I did. I didn’t here back from pepboys until October 20th when i called the store to see what was going on and at that point they told me the mechanics couldn’t figure out what was going on with the car and they where having to call in special mechanics from Dallas. This went on for weeks just back and forth with pepboys they kept telling me a different mechanic is coming to look at it but nothing was being done. it came down to the mechanics at pepboys doing another diagnostic on the engine and he told me now there was a problem with the engine and the timing and they don’t fix that there so what did I want to do now with the car i didn’t have a way of getting it home so they offered to tow it to my house so i agreed so they told me i would have to wait for the tow to get approved first by corporate then I would get a call from the towing company just confirming everything. After weeks of waiting and not hearing anything from pepboys on November 27th I called the pepboys to see what was going on and they just instantly got the tow in order for the same day were they ever really waiting for corporate? Whenever my car got back to my house the inside was all torn up and there was a pack of cigarettes sitting in my passenger seat I’m 19 I don’t smoke I called up to the pepboys as soon as I seen the condition of my car, and they told me “yeah it looks like someone broke into it” mind you there are no broken windows and no broken doors so the car must’ve been left unlocked while they had it in there possession and I asked well is there anything you can do was there a police report? And they told me no that wasn’t there responsibility they couldn’t do anything for me not even a refund on repairs that didn’t work! DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME after having to rent a car while doing the repairs to now replacing that car I’m out over $18k cause of this CHOP SHOP

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Worst car service I’ve experienced, went for a brake change (they still squeal) and they stripped the wheel stud and put such a big piece of metal in my tire that discount tire had to replace the entire tire. The manager Doug refused to help; he told us we still had 4 studs that work and we can take the tire off and get it fixed. We then contacted corporate who acted appalled and then proceeded to never call us back to get it fixed like they promised to do after they “did an investigation ” and to give them 24-48hours . Costed us over $350 out of pocket to repair their negligence. Needless to say a month later we have chosen a new mechanic.

Have one of my many vehicles with lifetime warranty all wheel alignment 2004 GMC Yukon and for some reason always have a problem getting my alignments done with them. This time I was told that I supposedly don’t have the lifetime that I only paid for the one year warranty. I was than told that I needed to show a receipt of a purchase that was made three years ago and so I left because I couldn’t find the receipt. But I forgot that I have the receipt stored in my phone and returned to the location. He looked very stupid when the receipt was presented to him, did not even get an apology from the red head with beard. These people are scammers trying to steal people money, people beware of this location. They know people have lifetime warranty and there telling people they only paid one year so that you can pay again so that it goes in there pocket. If you’re able to go to another location do that, this one is no good! There liars an scammers, not a trustworthy place at all! Very disappointed with this location and they call themselves “professionals”! LMAO, there far from that!

Went online to schedule an appointment for an oil change this past Sunday for 3pm and when I got there it was a hand written sign on the door saying Pep boys was closed. No call ahead of time to communicate the store was closing early at all or that my appointment was needing to be rescheduled. Very disappointing pep boys.

Went in for a wheel alignment,got out of there in under 30 minutes. Thought I'd be in there at least an hour minimum, not so. Great job even greater employees. This is the place to go to.Thanks I will keep you in mind I need an alignment.

I went on Sunday just after they opened. I had an oil change. Service was fast. Oil change includes free tire rotation and filter change. I used online $10 coupon. I would recommend them.
