We’ve used Economy Paint & Body for several vehicles over the last 10 years and Brandon has always done a great job for a fair price. I don’t know what happened with these negative reviews because I’ve never experienced any negative talk, or rude folks; everyone I’ve ever met there has been very nice and walked me through what was going on and what my options were. They take the time to explain it and that makes a big difference to someone who doesn’t know a bunch about cars (but always leaves knowing a little more!)
Amazing job on my car twice now. By far the most bang for my buck in Lubbock. Always helpful and extremely easy to communicate with. Helped me going through insurance sign bumper damage and also paying out of pocket for my car repainted. Will go to them for the rest of my time in Lubbock. Cheapest, and best in the 806!
Pete is very unprofessional. Cheap is not worth it sometimes. I was told a price only to be told a different price later on. When I explained the previous conversation we had, we preceded to engage in an extended conversation with him telling me I was wrong. After I walked him through our previous conversation once more, Pete then raised his voice and told me to come pick up my car and hung up on me. 0 stars for the way this was handled. Do not expect good service or honesty from this place. I will happily shop elsewhere.
Very affordable! Also, looks so much better, but they were hard to get in touch with on certain times of the day, and the hood has some spots meaning they had dust or contaminates on hood while painting. Good enough for me though.
I have been here for my last 4 body work jobs and I will never go anywhere else. The owner is reasonable and always surprises me on how he can make my car look brand new again. I appreciate what you all do
This was a terrible experience. There was over spray all over my car. They where not detailed at all. The owner is condescending and rude. I had to go somewhere else to fix things that they did wrong.
I’ve used economy paint and body for the last eight years and they’ve always done me good. Between three different cars, they were able to get the job done at a great price. Won’t take my cars to anyone else!
My cars front bumper was significantly damaged and the hood latch wouldn't close properly. I was getting my battery changed at Nicks and inquired about a good place to check prices to fix the issue. I was told about economy paint and body so I checked it out. I couldn't afford the initial price at the time to get it fixed completely and correctly, but I was only concerned about safely driving back to California so the man I spoke with said they could try something different just to secure it. What I got was way more awesome than I expected! The hood now latches beautifully and my bumper is secured nicely. I appreciate them working with me so much! I made it back to California without having to worry about my hood flying up or my bumper falling off. Thank you!!
I had to get my front right panel fixed on my car here. The guy who fixed my vehicles name was Brandon. He did a bootleg job. Paint didn't match on the new panel and it fell off while I was driving on the interstate. 0 stars. $700 job too.
Five stars is not enough stars for this place it's more like a thousand stars there the only place I'm now using and Hidelying recommend to friends and family
These guys are jerks and will lie cheat and steal from their customers...they are the worst place to even consider...I went there as a referral from my mechanic and it was the worst choice ever...if you do not like to be lied to and bullied, these are not the guys to do business with....wish i had checked with the BBB and other sources first before going there, but I trusted my mechanic...Turns out these guys suck...DO YOUR RESEARCH before using Economy Paint and body.

Went up to get a quote to get my car fixed. They said they'ed have to call around to see if they could find some parts for it, which is understandable. They called 2 days later saying the parts was in. I said I was only wanting a quote and asked how much I was looking at. They said they'ed call me back in a bit because they didn't know. A different person called me back and stated that they found the person and I had to act fast because the supplier didn't wanna wait. Price seemed fair, and once I realized I could budget the repair, I said ok. A week after them having my car, they said they couldn't find parts anywhere, not even aftermarket. Finally after several visits (because they never call or return phone calls) and being talked down to because I'm wanting this vehicle repaired. They charged me for parts I asked them not to order but they did anyway. I'd give them one star but what work was done to my car so far looks good. Some places don't understand how important communication with customers is.
