Amazing service from Christian. I don’t know what it is with mechanics and them taking a long time to respond to messages but Christian is the exact opposite. He responded to all my messages quickly and made the process quick and easy. I’ve had a heating problem in my car for the past couple of weeks and Christian came and diagnosed it within 15 minutes. As a college student money is tight and we all panic when we hear problems within our cars but the pricing from this company is extremely fair and affordable. If you ever need a mobile mechanic to come look at a vehicle please give these guys a call.
We have an excellent mechanic in our hometown (not in Texas) who we fully entrust all of our auto care to. I have a kid in college out in Lubbock who called home to let me know his brakes were making a crunching noise. I was nervous about having to find an honest and trustworthy mechanic in Lubbock (on a Saturday!). I begrudgingly called around and found Valdez Auto Repair on google. Christian was quick to respond to me, he squeezed us into his busy schedule and was able to go meet my son to check out his brakes. It was quick, quality, fair-priced, and honest work. I’m so grateful to know my college student is safe away from home and I’m so glad to have found my new mechanic in Lubbock!

I was helped by Christian with a broken piece underneath my car when I was unable to get it into a shop. I was able to get in contact with someone and have my car fixed in the same day. Got screwed over by another “mechanic” who ended up being a scammer and put me in a crunch on needing a tune up done today and parts needing to be bought. He got my parts ordered and did everything at my house. Started talking at 12:35 and he was done by 3:55. Said it took a bit longer because my coils and spark plugs were in really bad shape. Super responsive and fast. Will definitely use Christian again.
Edit: I am concerned he stole a pair of sunglasses from my car. I have yet to find them and he’s not messaged me since I asked about it minus “I’ll look around”. Also the trunk stopped working again and he never responded to my request if he could come back and check.
Just had a great experience with Christian. He was prompt, had great communication, and he was affordable. Contacted him about my problem, and he diagnosed it as a starter issue. I went to buy a new one, and he came back the same day to replace it. I will definitely work with him in the future if I ever run into any other issues with my car.
It appears this guy has a magical and fast way of doing his stuff. He replaced the break pads of all my wheels within minutes. Everything seems working well, interestingly. He stays professional. However, the mobile mechanic doesn't want you to watch him doing his job. But, I'll recommend him, per my one time engagement I had with him
Called this company for the mobile convenience they advertised. He did come out to check the car next day, the power steering hoses had blown as well as the pump. He referenced me on which parts to order. The store didn’t have them so they were ordered and delivered to me. I let Christian know they had came in on Friday, later in the day he text me and says he will let me know when to bring the car to his shop. The next morning he says to bring it at 9am, then proceeds to say we have too much miscommunication and to take it elsewhere. I was at work during this time and could not respond right away and apologized when I responded an hour later. He did not let me know ahead of time, never asked what was convenient for me as a paying customer and totally misrepresented what is advertised as a mobile mechanic. My power steering is loud and can barely be driven. The only reason I chose this place was because it was supposed to be mobile, and to request I drive it clear across town in that condition defeats the purpose of why I chose him in the first place. His attitude towards a customer is that he’s doing you the favor of fixing it, rather than your paying him to do so. Wasted my time and I definitely took my business elsewhere.
Christian was very punctual and efficient. He was also available on a Sunday! I explained to him that I was new to the city, and he worked with me, replacing my truck shift bearing. Would recommend 10 out of 10 times!
Christian is wonderful! We were 5 hours into a 10 hour trip when the bushing on our shifter cable broke. He came to where we were In short order, fixed it quickly, and double checked it so we could get back on the road safely. Excellent work and fair prices. Highly recommend!

Christian is an excellent mechanic to deal with. I was broke down, he responded in a timely manner, he was working on another vehicle so I expected him to be at my house later in the day. He showed up way faster than I expected, communication was great, he diagnosed my problem, worked on my vehicle and was very polite and professional to deal with. Lost a lot of money this week sitting around waiting on these guys to not show up. First contact was Wednesday, they stated they’d be at my house 5:45-6. I get a call at 5:30 canceling on me, said they’d give a 10% discount if I scheduled for 3pm Thursday, so I did. He showed up around 3:30 diagnosed it didn’t give the discount, I told him I’d go grab the part real quick. He stated he’d have to schedule me for 9am Friday(today). 10am I text asking if he’s coming he says he’s running a little behind. I told him I have to leave for Dallas at 3pm, I asked for an eta he said 1:45. At 1:30 he text saying he was grabbing equipment and heading my way. Never showed up never responded to my texts never answered my calls. Called another number I had for them and never got a response or a call back. Very unprofessional, no self discipline, no scheduling skills, and definitely no communication skills. I’m surprised they’re rated as high as they are. I’d rather pay double for the job to someone that would actually show up. I finally text at 3:45 stating I would just find someone else to do the job. Lost hundreds of dollars sitting around waiting on this company.
Will absolutely be using this business again. I have a local mechanic that I like, but I didn't want to deal with towing our truck there and waiting for him to fit it in. This dude came to look at my 1978c10 Chevy a beautiful truck. it was died while I was driving and I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it. Replaced starter changed oil all that. He shocked it and said replace the battery terminals. For 12$ at Oriellys my truck now runs. This guy is very smart. He goes through the whole process in his head. Literally took him less than 30min. 10000000% would let people know about this young guy. He’s the best and the reviews show it. This dude is the best in Lubbock by far
Very happy with the work done by Christian. Once we were able schedule a meet up time everything went smoothly. He had several jobs ahead of me so it took a couple of days for us to get together. Which was not a problem since I had rather wait on someone who is busy than wonder about someone who is not. Christian communicated well, was always on time and finished the work in a timely manner. Pricing was fair. I will definitely use him again if the need arises.

I just used their service today (10/06/23)have to admit was kind of nervous after reading some reviews. But, I always chalk it up as "life" this man is busy and so am I, but, you got to know how to simply give understanding and hope they will give you some understanding as well, we all live our lives and we all have problems. I have to say the price I paid was above being fair but completely fair. Yes it hurt paying, but what doesn't anymore with this inflation. This man Christian met my need in time of trouble, so the price was fair, he did NOT gouge me for more. We came to a price that I was willing to accept and so was he, again he had some understanding, he already knows life is tough for everyone, so NO need to tell a sob story, if you need your vehicle like I needed mine just cut to a price you may or may not afford. Then watch the magic happen, he came, he was pretty quick, 1 hour and 30 minutes to replace my alternator. No fuss, no muss, just got it done Gus! I'll definitely use this guy again, presuming he is not busy, if he is, well, give him some understanding and be patient. I was in a hurry myself especially not knowing what to expect from this mobile mechanic.
