I dropped off my vehicle thinking there was some issues with my brakes, but after a thorough investigation they found no issues. No up sell no hassle just honest work.
They had a $49 special using synthetic oil, tire rotation and 14 Point safety check. They discovered a dirty cabin air filter fortunately Midas had one in stock. Excellent service, mechanics and customer service people in the office. I will definitely be recommending Midas to family and friends.
Midas on south loop 289 gave us amazing dependable service. They were able to get everything fixed on our truck after a thorough inspection of what was needed and got it back to us in a timely manner so we weren’t without our vehicle. I have a BMW and i would recommend them Any Day over BMW dealership to work on my car, there prices are realistic, there honest about what needs to be done with your car without trying to run your pockets dry, and they do a great job ! Brought car in for brake fluid flush. Car had no check engine light. When car was finished. Cars check engine light was on. P2187 code. Reset code after got home. Hasn't came back on. Not sure why that happened. If light doesn't come back on then I'd give 4 star's..... price was good and the service didn't take too long.
Tim and Zach ( I hope I spelled that right) are top-notch, and always have been every time I've come in. Friendly conversation, zero "run around" brutal honesty, and transparency. If you want to "see what they're talking about" they'll gladly let you come into the shop and inspect a "concern" to ensure they're not pulling the proverbial "wool over your eyes." I've sat and had conversations with the mechanics working on my cars while addressing potential future concerns, fixes, associated costs, etc. Every time my vehicles need a service I can't/don't feel like doing myself I take it to these guys and NO ONE else. Trust is key when it comes to someone working on your vehicle because your vehicle drives your life (no pun intended) and these guys are here to help you every step of the way.
I've had NUMEROUS jobs done by them and have never had any "questionable advice" from them. Just brutal honesty about what was immediate and necessary and what could "potentially wait but might have issues soon, so be careful." It's hard to find that anywhere now a day.
Spent $1,400 a month ago my car drove worse after I picked it up. Now it won’t even start. I’ve used Midas many times and always had good experience with them. I felt like I got ripped off $1,400 and I still don’t have a running car

I’ve been coming to this Midas for a few years with many car repairs on multiple vehicles and they always do a fantastic job. They have never tried to sell me anything that is not needed, and are very customer oriented in their service. After every service they will follow up to ensure their great work resolved the vehicles issues. I could not recommend them more if you’re looking for good, honest, and fair priced mechanics!

Came here cause I needed the knock sensor replaced in my Kia. Was a little expensive of course but gene messser Kia didn’t want to help me, and others cost way more. But the service here at Midas was great and they replaced it within a few hours.
The folks at Midas took good care of me and my vehicle. It took a while to get issues diagnosed, but it was same day service and that isn’t found at other places.

Was about to head out to work and my car didn't start. So I had it towed to Midas. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. By the end of the day my car was running again! Any car maintenance or repairs I will definitely give them a call!

My brakes haven't squeaked since Tim’s team worked on them. They did an amazing job. Midas has been great, and the people are also great, but Tim’s team was amazing!

Walked in terrified because I was choosing Midas instead of the dealership - obviously, I needed To try to save on the bill. My AC had suddenly gone out. Everyone there was very professional and welcoming. Tim overheard my conversation and felt he had the experience to figure it out. I was out of there in less than an hour. AC working again and I was able to comfortably get back on the road. All of the pricing was explained to me before anything was done. Pictures were messaged to me explaining the details of what had gone wrong and what the plan was to correct it. … Giving Midas a five star is a no-brainer. Tim even checked on me the next day to make sure everything was still OK.
I dealt with a very helpful and kind ,gentleman named Zach. Him and his crew got my upper control arm replaced and wheels aligned and truck is driving like new again
Came here to fix my ball joints, found out it was my motor mount that needed fixing. I called for an appointment for Monday August 18Th at 1:30pm, I showed up around 10:30am, I was able to get in and have my car serviced. What an amazing job they did to my car, I felt a total difference as soon as I drove off the parking lot. I most definitely will be coming back for other service, Midas here in Lubbock has a new lifetime customer. Thanks to the guys fixing my car, you definitely made a difference.

I have also been very happy with Midas. They have taken care of us since 2015 when my son turned 16 and had his first truck. Tim, David and Zach have all been extremely helpful. They know my name and they remember my family each time we go in. I have found them to be very skilled and honest. I also give 5 stars and highly recommend.
Very professional and they didn’t try to hassle or hustle me. Very honest. I needed front and back brakes, new rotors and struts. They did the job in the amount of time they quoted and it cost about $500 less than Mavis (which tried to rip me off). I even got a ride home while they worked on my car. Tim, Zack and the team do great work and the car runs like it’s new.
Our experience at Midas today was excellent. Zack and Will were very helpful; they were very honest after inspecting our vehicle. They inform us that my breaks were in great condition and no service was needed. In today’s world it’s unusual to encounter honest people like they were. The service is good. And the stuff is very nice. But they are a little lack of professional experience. After maintenance, there is a fault light is on. And after change the battery, the AC is down, the radio is down. But luckily, they help me maintain again. Although I spend 1093 dollars and twice returns, I still believe they can do better next time.
