Gary’s was turkey a blessing for my family’s vehicle. I had battery issues and my Vehicle wouldn’t shift into gear, was stuck in Park. Needed to drive back home so I was towed there, the work was super quick and staff was extremely nice, 10/10 recommend if your looking for a good spot w reasonable pricing, Check them out you won’t be disappointed.

Had my splash guard dragging from the bottom of my car before driving to Fort Worth from Lubbock. Came in to get it removed and trashed and wasn’t charged for the work. Couldn’t recommend them more highly to anyone in need of vehicle maintenance in Lubbock

Excellent service! Recently had to have repairs done that were quoted as being much more costly that ended up not being nearly as high once work began. John has consistently been friendly and knowledgeable and I have always had quick turnaround whenever I’ve had to take my car in.

When two other shops failed me, Gary’s Service Center got the job done. The car hadn’t run in three months and they had it running in two days. I’ll only take my vehicles there from now on.

In these tough economic times, keeping our current vehicle running is paramount, and Gary's Service Center, especially under the incredible management of Johnathan Taylor, went above and beyond to ensure just that for us. We had unfortunately neglected our car for a couple of years and were bracing ourselves for a hefty repair bill after requesting a comprehensive inspection and addressing some known issues. To our delight, Gary's Service Center not only identified and expertly fixed everything our car needed at an unbelievably reasonable price, but they also demonstrated exceptional customer service and integrity. I was scheduled to drive out of town to pick up family for a week, and despite being closed for Good Friday upon my return to Clovis, they went out of their way to accommodate me and ensure I didn't have to make an unnecessary two-hour drive back to Lubbock to get my car. This level of consideration was truly remarkable. What impressed me even more was their honesty. I had suspected a problem with my suspension and asked them to inspect and replace it if necessary. Instead of simply taking my word for it and charging me, they called to explain that the suspension was actually in good condition and that replacing it would only address a minor squeak. They could have easily taken advantage of my assumption, but their integrity shone through, saving me unnecessary expense. It's also incredibly commendable that Gary's Service Center actively supports the military community, a fact I learned without even having to ask. I cannot recommend Gary's Service Center and Johnathan Taylor highly enough. Their exceptional service, honest approach, fair pricing, and genuine care for their customers make them stand out as a truly stellar automotive service provider. I had always taken my car to a dealership for service until they charged me thousands of dollars to repair an oil leak, and then after returning twice because I still had a leak, they wanted me to give them a couple more thousand to fix my rear main seal. I called Gary’s, and they told me to buy an $18 bottle of Blue Devil Rear Main Sealer. My car immediately stopped leaking oil. Since then, I have brought my car here twice. They repaired my blower motor the first time, and then they fixed my air intake issue that was causing my car to idle improperly. Both repairs were same-day-service and much cheaper than the dealership. They are easy to do business with, and they have my business from now on. I highly recommend them if you are looking for mechanics you can trust to not take advantage of you and get your automobile back to you quicker than anyone else in town.

Gary's Service Center was recommended by a friend of mine when I asked for an auto shop I could trust to send my daughter to since she's away from me at school. I talked to them at about 4:45, and they were able to get her out before closing even when she got there not long before closing. She said they were super friendly and helpful. Thank you for taking care of my girl.

Gary’s Service Center has taken care of my student like family. As a mom, hours away from my college student, this business is an answer to prayers. Johnathan takes the time to walk my student through every problem and every option to solve the problem; teaching along the way. Gary’s Service Center’s work is always top tier and 100 percent honest.

They are an excellent auto service facility highly recommend. They are courteous, honest & get the job done quickly. They are fairly priced. You are excellent hands with Jonathan & Steve & all the hard mechanics that work there. Highly recommend & will be using them from now on.

Very good service all around. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I went to O’Reilly’s earlier that day and they said I needed a mass airflow sensor replacement. However, I’m glad I didn’t buy the part, because Gary’s said otherwise. They diagnosed that my purge valve was stuck open. Of course, I had no idea what that meant, but they explained it very simply and easy to understand. They got me in and out quickly and my car is running smoother than ever. Today, I drove around 200 miles back home for the weekend and had no problems whatsoever. BIG thanks to the guys at Gary’s for getting me fixed up quick and inexpensively!

Gary was superb. I had my niece in PICU here in Lubbock at Covenant, my car got messed up and as soon as I was able to get the car into the garage they had it worked in!! Less than an hour he had me back up and running. Nothing but pure appreciation and praise

Ahem! (taps mic) These guys are worth all the praise I seen on the Google reviews. We are new to town. We do deliveries with our pickup truck a 2019 Titan SV. The truck was recently bought from a dealership that will remain anonymous. But the truck started leaking coolant. Dealership said the earliest was Dec. 2nd. I took it to Gary's. They got us back up and running by end of day. Plus they fixed the tailgate latch. Johnathan was extremely helpful and understanding to our emergency. This truck is how we provide for our family. They have a awesome property inside and out. This is definitely not dirty and dingy shop that you may come across! They definitely have a forever customer! Top Tier A-Plus service!!! Thanks again for bailing me out!!!

We’re new to Lubbock and had a wheel that was making noises. Saw all the great reviews on Google for Gary’s and decided to take it there. They didn’t disappoint. They found the issue and fixed it. It was a quick and inexpensive fix. I appreciate that they didn’t try to upsell needing something more and were honest and transparent about it. Service was great. Definitely will go back next time I need the car worked on.

Honest and quick work! Gary will get you taken care of, and back on the road. Had been told to take it elsewhere after I got the initial quote, and I’m glad I didn’t! Have never experienced such great customer service. Will definitely be back for any future repairs, and would recommend them.

Thanks to Gary’s Service Center for the great Leap Day gift you gave me yesterday. I took my 2006 Lexus in at 8 AM, expecting that you would examine it and call me saying a broken switch, engine, or equipment failure was keeping my front passenger window open more than three inches from the top in 33 degree weather with rain and snow. The online information I had read said that repairs would probably be upward of at least $300, and I anticipated it would be a several-day repair. I felt grateful that this was the first time my hybrid SUV has been in for repairs in the eight years I’ve owned it and added 65,000 miles to the 80,000 it had when I bought it. But managing the best I can as the wife of a husband confined to memory care with dementia, I dreaded the call confirming the problem and cost to repair. Before 10 AM the call came with a question whether I had recently replaced the car battery. My reply was positive; yes, the battery was replaced shortly before 2023 ended. I was then told that when the battery is replaced, it is necessary to re-program the windows to raise and lower. The work had been done and the car was ready to be picked up, less than two hours after I left it! I was so dumbfounded that I forgot both then and later to ask why, with at least three battery replacements in the last eight years and no previous window problems, this had now happened. Never mind, the bottom line, as I signed the receipt, was a zero balance owed! No charge! Just a wonderful gift on a cold damp Leap Day, February 29, 2024! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I’ve already told the story and recommended Gary’s Service Center to several friends who were happy to get the recommendation. I’m not wishing any additional repairs to cause my return, but now I know where to go if necessary. Gratefully, An 87 year old VERY satisfied fan of Gary’s Service Center

A friend recommended Gary's to me when Firestone quoted me a very costly repair and I wanted to get another quote. Turned out, the issue was not even what Firestone told me it was. Gary's shop saved me literally thousands of dollars. Since then they've kept my 13-year-old high-mileage Subaru going, and I've greatly appreciated their honesty. I'd gone to Firestone because it's national and it was nice to have my records go wherever I went when I moved across state lines, but if you want trustworthy and reliable service, nothing compares to a local shop run by local people who are invested in the community. I highly recommend Gary's. Side note: any shop that has a "shop dog" is legit in my book. Dog people are good people. Thanks for all you do, Gary and crew.

Hands down - the best experience I've ever encountered with a auto mechanic shop! All of the employees I personally dealt with were very knowledgeable and experts within the automotive field. Every diagnosis and potential service was explained to me with integrity and trustworthiness. My vehicles issue was taken care of promptly and efficiently. Excellent service!!!!

I usually do my own maintenance in order to save money and the only shop I truly trusted was back in Dallas. However, I took my truck in due to hearing some noises in my suspension that I couldn't diagnose myself. Not only did Gary's service center solve that issue, but also took the time to look into other areas of my truck that they were hearing and gave me free tips/advice on how to fix those issues and what the process looked like. They went out of there way to make sure I understood what was going on and helped me save money in the long run. If you're worried about getting scammed or having work done incorrectly, bring your car here! They know EXACTLY what they are doing! Best customer service I have seen in a long time.

I've been going to them for three years and they are fantastic. You need a mechanic you can trust and that is them. They do great work but they are also not looking to rip you off. Yesterday my car was running fine but something was hanging down from the bottom of the car that seemed deeply problematic. I brought it to them and they explained it needed to be secured. Not only did they do it that day, they didn't even charge me for it!!! When was the last time you went to a mechanic where they did work and didn't charge you anything? Gary's is a great place. I highly recommend it.

Had my Honda CRV starter fixed here recently. I am happy with the service and their professionalism. The staff was really helpful and courteous. The front desk office lady who helped me with rides to and fro from my house was really awesome and such a sweet person. Would definitely recommend this place:)
