Call to get a car towed out of my reserve parking spot was told that they’d come and never heard back from them. It’s been two hours.

I had my passes to be in the lot, I live 2 hours away from the fair and the guy on the phone told me I don’t know

I will never understand why anyone would get into this business. It is inexcusable to me to get in this business and have bad customer service. You have to understand that everyone coming onto your lot is already upset and you would think that maybe just maybe they would do their part to not make their customers days worse, but they don’t. As soon as my husband walked onto the lot to ask for assistance with getting his car out, he was threatened with arrest. I’m not sure if his race played a factor into this but it sure seemed this way. After being screamed at and threatened for trying to ask for help and finally retrieving the vehicle, they again stated how they would’ve arrested him if they were law enforcement for having a broken license plate (this is a minor infraction you cannot be arrested for anywhere in this country). They were very aggressive throughout the whole interaction and made the customer experience hostile and just wanted to go on a power trip. They talked down to him and treated him like a child. I’m sure this review will do nothing but I hope the owners will takeaway the simple understanding that you never know what other people are going through. Being kind to another human being, regardless of race, is free.

Had a great experience with this wrecker company. They were super quick to respond. Big shout out to Tommy, who was not only professional but really positive and understanding as I was dealing with rain and blow out tires. Definitely recommend them (hopefully not because you're getting towed for something worse), but if you need help, they're solid.

I had to call them to tow my truck today, they showed up exactly in the time frame they said. super friendly and even gave me a ride with my vehicle. also, way less expensive than what my road side assistance charged me.

Exaggerated enforcement and unethical local business. Charge max state fees operating in a lower income area. Predatory targeting regardless of circumstance. In this case a spot legally pemitted by an exisitng tenant who consented to park our car due to her vehicle in the shop for only minutes . Not sure I would contract them to monitor commercial properties. Their actions and attitude risk escalating what should be a simple parking infraction into something more. They are supposed to add value to the complex( The Collective, lubbock tx) not treat it as a cash cow and become a liabilty to the property. Local businesses carefully consider who you partner with, we will not lease at this property or any property associated with this business.

Company is completely unethical and preys on college students, apparently they take photos of your students as they leave their car for "proof" as well. Nothing about their business practice is appropriate and businesses using this company should reconsider.

Unethical business. Watch people drive, wait for them to park, watch them walk into an establishment, and then tow their vehicle. Staff are unprofessional and very abrupt. Businesses do not use this towing company, it will tarnish your reputation as well. There are other companies that don’t intentionally seek to rip people off. Think about the integrity of your business and earning the respect of your customers. Word travels fast.

If you want to get your car towed with as most damage as possible and driven as poorly as possible, then Red Raider Wreckage & Towing is for you! Terrible drivers and even worse customer service.

Rude as can be. All of them & they also called me racial slurs while they claim their lunch break ends at 1pm, and I been here since 1:30

Went to eat and shop, parked in the parking spot FOR that and got towed. Showed THREE receipts!! almost $400 to get it out. And then they had this ghetto sign, real professional

Towed my daughter's car for reasons they were incapable of explaining. I was given 4 different stories in under 5 minutes. When my daughter's father, the owner of the vehicle called, they refused to speak to him. Given the reviews, the owner, whom I believe is SCOTT BRICKEL, clearly is aware of how his establishment is run and has no problem with sleeping at night despite being responsible for a business that is devoid of ethics, staffed by half-wit ignorant bullies and profits by preying on college students.

They randomly called me today stating a driver went by my house and saw my vehicle was still there and did I still need assistance. (There’s no car) I began to express my confusion for the call with the first lady, that made the initial call. Believe her name is Lorraine. For starters that’s creepy and I was confused and called back for clarity! Two women insisted they spoke with me 2 weeks ago. I continue to advise them I had not reached out to a tow company in a couple months. She still implied that they did talk to me and they she couldn’t magically get my information. Talking to me as if I lacked intelligence. Upon doing my research they COMPLETED a service for me the first week of November. (Over 2 months ago!) I called back the representative answered the phone “yes Deidra” very ugly as if I had bothered them. Before I could explain to her that it had to be a mishap on there end she hung up in my face! I do not recommend so unprofessional, distasteful and unnecessary. I have never ever experienced anything like it!

Charged me a storage fee after towing my car because I couldn't pick it up until 8 AM next day. Car was there for less than 12 hours total, and charged over $300 to get my car back, which is completely absurd. Shame that they slap Red Raider on their business name; they don't help college students, they prey on them. Fingers crossed they go out of business.

Best experience ever! My vehicle was stuck in mud and after a failed attempt to get the car out, Kyle happened to be driving by, stopped to ask if we were okay told him the situation he looked to see what he could do. We agreed to give it a couple days since it had been raining for two days straight, after the mud dried up a bit he was able to get me out of the mud. Kyle was so professional, courteous, full of smiles and laughter. You could tell he really likes his job! I still can’t thank yall enough!!!

SCAM COMPANY. Was parked in the correct resident spot with a hanging parking permit and discovered my car had been towed. Went the next day and they tried to charge me $500 and charge for “3 days of storage “. Went to their office with pictures showing my hanging tag and told them I’m taking this to court. After wasting multiple hour at their talking with completely incompetent employees, the boss man decided to “waive all fees” and return me my car once he realized he would lose in court. It’s a shame this place is still in business, and an even greater shame to be someone associated with them. What a sorry business preying on college students.

Richard was amazing at doing his job extremely friendly the lady that answered the phone was nice and respectful don’t let the bad reviews fool you this company has great employees and deserve BIG RAISES. I recommend this company if you need help getting your car to wherever you need it to go. COLLEGE STUDENTS don’t be STUPID park where you won’t get towed

My daughters car got tow towed last night at 10:13pm. She called at 11:30pm and told her to call back at 8am today. I am out of town and she can’t get a ride for another hour so they are charging her two days. Kindly asked if they could just charge for the one day. Chrissy (kristy) was the rudest person I have ever spoke to. She hung up on me twice and I gave nothing but absolute kindness. I asked for her last name and she hung up. I asked to speak to the manager or owners and she said no I don’t give our their number and I asked when they would be in and she hung up on me. If you are the owners of this tow yard and read this - your front desk lady is very unkind and rude. I know in her heart she is a wonderful woman and she is trying to do her job but hanging up twice on people who are showing you kindness is not good customer service. I told her I would make a formal complaint and she would not give me her last name and hung up - that is unacceptable. I do not want her to get fired but I would appreciate training be given on how to speak to people on the phone. I’m sure she is used to drunks and people yelling at her but this was not the case.

I want to love them but with their zero return policy, impossible wait times not to mention they left a family member stranded ina rough area without care of concern. Just get charged and wait 3-4 hours with no guarantee to come. Always be watchful for anyone who has a zero return policy. You know something isn't okay. Use if there is no choice.

My wife got her car stuck in the mud about 50 feet from a paved road about 1 mile from our house. I called South Plains. The receptionist said the would cost $97.50. I said okay. I got a call from the service man and he said it would be $250. 00 to dig it out of the mud... I was a bit peeved but, hey it's the wife's car. About an hour and a half later my car in my driveway. I go out and thank the service man ready to pay up. He tells me it's now $500.00 cause it took him longer to dig it out. $500 + $97.50 .... well you get it. He tells me that he told me on the phone that it was $250.00 an hour and since it took longer it would be $500.00 for his part. That's one expensive tow... I'm retired and live on a fixed income. Looks like Spaghetti Os till the end of the month.

Towed my car when I had my lease agreement, the people that work here cuss non stop and refused to honor the lease agreement student discount just to take an extra $200 out of a college student. None of them were professional or helpful, so everything on their website is incorrect and false. Just a lie to seem professional. Initially, the first guy said I can get the discount because I have my lease and can prove I live where I was towed. Then a girl came, told me her name was Kasey Washburn, then said there is no discount I can get and I have to pay full price. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she turns around and says “hey this jack*** wants to speak to a supervisor.” Then she calls the supervisor, goes to the back, talks for a while and says “the supervisor told me what to say. And that’s you have to pay full price.” Obviously a lie, and truthfully unprofessional. Whatever though, have fun scamming college students. Atleast we are going somewhere with our lives, seems like you need that money more than we do. Absolutely pathetic

Negative stars! These people should be considered criminals. My car was towed from a church parking lot. The lot said is was for the church only and I was at the church. The incredibly rude woman that answered my call said you have to have a permit to park there. There is no notice whatsoever that you have to have a permit. I asked her why the sign didn't state that and she said she doesn't know. Thankfully I was able to work things out with the church to have my car released for free (instead of an insane $317 cash). I still had to find a ride to their location for myself and my 5 year old daughter..... There was no apology or explanation for the confusion. It should be embarrassing to Lubbock to have the name Raider Red on this company.

I just parked 2 minutes literally to deliver the food. They just came all of sudden and towed my car and charge $130. I m also serving community and they are too.. but there is lot difference ethically. It took me whole 2 days to earn that amount but they took in 2 minutes. I can understand if someone parked for hour or more. But for just 2 minutes seriously . I feel so bad. They might be happy for that moment but I know GOD is there to see. God knows how to make them liable.

My car was towed by this company and upon dropping it off there was a LARGE dent in the driver side door that was not there prior. I called to ask questions and got the run around. They finally spoke with the driver who claims “he never got inside my car how could he have done it” like what kind of excuse is that? I asked if they were required to take pictures prior to leaving with my vehicle. They told me yes and then refused to provide me with said photos. HORRIBLE COMPANY! And not to mention the gentlemen I spoke with was beyond rude.

last thursday when i called the lady on the phone was very sweet and helping paid easy over the phone. The gentleman that towed me was quick and also an amazing driver when it came to dropping my car in an exact parking spot. Very well done. Will use again!

The staff yell at people coming in trying to ask how they got stuck with a 400 dollar tow bill even when they have a parking pass. They will tow you even after 5 mins. A lot of people around here have deep issues with their professionalism. I just didn’t believe it until I heard the lady at the service desk screaming on some poor kids video. Totally should apologize to that kid. He even still paid, I wouldn’t have.

This is the most unprofessional business that I have dealt with in a long time. The employee working there is completely rude and not helpful at all. Does not give information unless you know exactly what to ask for. If this is your first time being towed you would have no idea what to ask for. My daughter had her car towed and the employee would not talk to us on the phone. We are 5 hours away so we could not talk in person. Employee would not tell us how to fill out some form so we had to get it notarized 3 times. This place is WORSE than the DMV!!!!

I had an absolutely horrendous experience here. If you’re a landlord or business owner who currently uses or is considering using this service PLEASE READ THIS. I was told by my leasing office that I could load my uhaul trailer to move out within the gated parking garage so I didn’t have to worry about my stuff being stolen. I am a tenant and have paid for a parking pass. My truck and trailer were towed regardless. I showed up very early and was the first person in the door, I offered to show ample evidence that I was rightfully in possession of my truck, but was told I needed to take forms to a notary to get my stuff. I did that, returned with the forms, and before the worker even began reading the form she was shaking her head no, and threw the form back at me and said to do it again because there was a small mistake that was clearly irrelevant. At this point she had been incredibly abrasive and rude throughout all of our interactions. I re did the form, and she claimed I had doctored the last document and refused to accept it. I re did the form again which she finally accepted, so she asked me to fill out some paperwork. I dropped my ID on the countertop because there was a plexiglass shield preventing me from handing it to her directly. She then told me that because I dropped my card, she was refusing to give me my truck back for as long as legally possible to teach me a lesson. For context, she was aware I need to be half way across the country for work tomorrow or risk losing my job, and simply out of spite she kept my car for far longer than necessary. Additionally, the owner of the vehicle called the office MULTIPLE TIMES with proof of title and insurance and to confirm I was rightfully in possession of the car and she was hung up on before she could speak. I called the police, who informed me that this was an extremely regular occurrence. I called my apartment building, who also said this happens frequently. Overall I was there from 8am-3pm, and now have to drive to California and pray I make it in time to work. I have never in my life had to deal with such power hungry and abusive people in a professional setting, and I will never move in to an apartment that utilizes their services again. I don’t care how nice the apartment is, I will not risk myself or my friends having to deal with this company. Please, if you have a choice in which towing service you allow on your premises, if you value your tenants or customers even slightly, you should not use red raider wrecker service. Absolutely horrendous.

Had the misfortune of needing to visit a towing company after promising a friend that her car would be fine. Went in to go pay which turned out to be difficult at first with needing to verify ownership of vehicle with registration and insurance in glove compartment, but the lady who helped us was attentive and helped us process all of the paperwork we would need. I would like to never return to this business again, but at least the customer service was good.

I initially contacted RRW as I was informed that they would install no parking signs in my parking lot. They sent someone out within the week. He said he would get back with me. After a month I called them to find out what the issue was. Then I was told to find someone else because they were busy with all the "Hail" damage in and around town. I called them 3 more times over a period of months but I could never get any cooperation. They said they would be there and they were getting the signs made. Finally yesterday I called and demanded to speak to the manager again. He was nice and calmed me down a bit and proceeded to tell me he would be at my business after lunch that day. Of course no one ever showed and no one ever called. Pitiful customer service. I will find a new provider but I think it's appalling that the manager would lie to me and tell me he would be there and not show up or call. I give them a big F as well as my middle finger. UPDATE****** This past weekend they came and installed our "No Parking" signs. They look very nice. I want to say Thank You for finally getting that job done.
