Buddy and his staff are awesome. They got my 92 Bronco running really good with new manifolds replacing the old headers. New front brakes, oil change, and spark plugs. Thank you for working on it until it was running good! So far so good!

We had a brake problem with our 35 foot motorhome. The owners were incredible in helping us out—-getting us in first thing, putting new brake lines on in the front and getting us back on the road in under 3 hours, start to finish. My Chevrolet 2500 had a hard pull to the right since I bought it about 34k miles ago. I had my truck aligned 4 times by 3 different shops (including the Chevrolet dealership) and every time I got the sheet back with all numbers in the green only to drive it and realize nothing was fixed. I took it to these guys a day earlier than my appointment was supposed to be and they had it fixed in just over two hours. The price was very reasonable and the process was very easy. Fantastic people with real knowledge!

Awesome Customer Service! Here on vacation and my trucks air conditioner went out! Contacted Highland Safety Center and asked them if they could take a look. They told me to bring the truck in so they could check it out. Drove the truck to the shop and Buddy got right on it, connected my truck to the machine and diagnosed it in no time! Luckily I was able to fix the issue myself and get it back to them so they could charge the AC. Again on my return trip they took the truck straight to the back and charged my ac system! Thank You Highland Public Saftey Center!

There’s a great amount of peace of mind when you deal with a company like this. I trust them. They are always very helpful and thorough. I hit a deer this morning and was afraid to drive to work so I called Highland safety center and they told me to bring it in real quick to see if it’s drivable. It was just the AC condenser. These guys are the best.

I'm a former and retired owner of an Automotive Repair shop located in the DFW area. I own a 2016 Ford 150 having the radiator fan consistently running on high, complemented with an A/C noise. Had taken to dealership for diagnosis and repair. Dealership indicated that both A/C compressor and expansion valve were defective and needed replacement. Quote was for $2,950. I declined and took vehicle to Highland Safety. Highland (Buddy) found a problem with coolant (antifreeze). He rectified and verified A/C pressures were well within spec. He acknowledged that the compressor was making a slight noise, but not sufficient enough to warrant a replacement. My total cost for the diagnosis and topping off the coolant was $93! Essentially saving me $2,800+. Bottom line...Highland Safety and respective ownership have made me proud! It's seldom that I find an exceedingly honest ownership complemented with a cadre of ASE Certified Master Mechanics being available. Thank you Buddy and Shanda! I will be back!

These people are provided excellent service. Even though they were swamped they took the time to fix an electrical problem in 5 minutes. Thanks Highland, you saved me!

Took truck in for maintenance an replacement they suggested. Shortly after the incorrectly installed transmission line blew and ruined the transmission. They warrantied the damage, well most of it. The mechanic left off dust covers and damaged the EVAP breathing leaving it looped over the transmission on the exhaust Y pipe. If you want half wit shade tree mechanic work this is your place. Don't come here if you're expecting quality work!

I had a minor emergency issue and they fit me in super quick!! Very reasonable pricing! Extremely nice people!!! This is absolutely my new go-to place!

called one day to set up for alignment. was my first call so i simply asked if appt was necessary. the somewhat rude female proceeded to “educate” me that yes as the bay is required for up to an hour to complete the alignment. so, i set up appt and brought it in at the agreed upon time. guess what? i go there and the same female that set the appt said the bay wasnt ready and to come back later at another agreed upon time. i did so and the repair was completed satisfactorily thus the 3 stars. i have never called them back for any other service nor do i intend to at this time. she was just a somewhat negative person

I bring my vehicles here everytime they break. With older vehicles, this is a common occurrence. They usually have a waiting list but try to get to us as fast as possible. They have always taken care of us since moving here.

These guys are great. Buddy and Shanda are not only great at the business of customer service they are now great friends.

We needed a new transmission put in our (rare) Vixen RV and Highland was good enough to take it on. Very professional and a pleasure to work with. And a fair price for unusual work. Highly recommended.

I relied on Kevin Porter for 20+ years and now Buddy seems to have continued the tradition of good mechanics, friendly service and they are going to charge you for something you don't need.

Took my truck in, they wasted my time by not going one step further to diagnose the real issue. Still charged for their mistake and they didn't have the equipment to get the job done. When I picked up my truck, the tires were not properly aired and it had grease all over the interior. These folks are off...Go to Kingsland Tire and Oil, they don't jack your vehicle! ( I appreciate your apology, but isn't part of your being a good shop making sure that your customers vehicle is road safe? My tire had 12lbs of pressure and you would have seen that if you actually had turned the key on to park it, which you did after parking it in the lot not 10 minutes before I came to get it. It was a front tire kinda hard to miss. And the truck alarms you about it. But that's right you don't "do" tires! )

We have taken several different makes and models to Highland Safety Center and there hasn't been one problem that they couldn't figure out. From out 1989 Ford truck to our 2012 sedan, these guys know cars. This is my one stop if I have any car issues for sure.

Buddy did an excellent job working with my budget to get my truck aligned but also let me know how to improve my front end, even though I couldn't afford many of the recommendations at that time because I had just spent money on ball joints and I will need tires soon. This place took care of me exactly like a shop is supposed to. High recommendation, here.

My dad has used this shop for years and says he will not use them again. Every time a repair has been done here something has gone wrong afterwards. They agreed to fix my truck under warranty and come Monday they switch their story up and now they wont. Wilkersons will never use this shop again and I would not recommend anybody else do either.

I went to 5 other auto mechanics, including the dealership and no one could figure out what was wrong with my van. Most of them wanted to do expensive diagnostics first and had different guesses as to what was wrong. Highland Safety Center is a family owned and run shop. Not only did they find the problem & fix it I couldn't believe how inexpensive the bill was. I even gave them an opportunity to charge me more because I asked if they could find 'anything' else it needed! They are truly honest & trustworthy.

Absolutely the worst customer service and extremely unprofessional. 3 weeks without vehicle and $800 later the problem is still not fixed. Will never take our vehicles here again. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
