This is the second time I find myself with the opportunity to review Texas Towing South! I live in Canyon Lake, TX and several times a month I pull my boat down to Port A to fish. A year ago I broke an axle and found myself stranded 28 miles from Three Rivers on a Sunday afternoon. I called Texas South Towing and they dispatched Devon out with a flatbed wrecker. Pulling a large boat trailer with one wheel onto a rollback wrecker is no easy feat. Devon handled up on the problem , strapped it down and transported the boat to Live Oak Trailers in Three Rivers. Being a police officer I am familiar with how expensive a wrecker bill should and can be. I was pleasantly surprised when I was given the bill as it was way less expensive that I ever could have imagined. Now fast forward a year. It's after 6:00 PM on a Tuesday. My boat trailer suffers a catastrophic wheel bearing failure. (yes they were greased and checked before I left home) This time I am about 18 miles from Three rivers. I reach out to James, the owner of Texas Towing South and he remembered me from last year. He again sends Devon out to help. The wrecker Devon was operating this time had side rails which was going to make safely transporting the boat and trailer dang near impossible. However; Devon and I put our heads together and came up with a plan. Devon could have very easily said, this is too hard or impossible, but instead he stayed and worked through the issue. So together, we were able to get the boat and trailer safely to Live Oak Trailers in Three rivers (another great company). Again, Texas Towing South saved the day! Being stranded two and a half hours from home, a lesser company and operator could have taken full advantage of me and my wallet but instead Texas Towing South chose SERVICE over profit, showing that there are still honest, fair companies and men in the world. I HIGHLY recommend this company and Devon for your towing needs!
James is the guy if you have need of towing, he is friendly first of all, his pricing is fair, and service was fast. He even offered to store our trailer in his lot since the shop didn't had place for it at that time. Keep up the good work man... Thank you
