I've used Fat Boy three times, always 100% satisfied. Today was even better. Jason went above and beyond. Could have just got me started and sent me on my way. Instead he diagnosed my problem, fixed it and gave me several bits of very helpful information
I would give 10 stars if I could! After a horrible experience with my road side assistance, Fat Boy towing came through, helped me, SO kind, polite, and professional. They did not have to tow me because I only needed a jump start. My road side assistance gave me a hard time refunding me for the $400 tow that didn’t happen. Jason was so amazing and told me I didn’t have to pay him the jump fee since my road side assistance said they were not going to cover any of my issues. What a nightmare. Jason made my day and I appreciate his compassion with my situation. I will ALWAYS use Fat Boy towing and I will recommend them to everyone!! Y’all are the best! Thank you!!
Been talking to this company through AAA. Been waiting four hours for a tow. Lots of excuses every time we are inquiring about where they are. Started with the office girl calling me and not liking where my car needs to be towed. I think AAA should not use them as a vendor and be careful if you call them. What they say is NOT what they do.
I am so taken aback by the amazing service received from Jason of Fat Boy Towing! One of my tires blew out around midnight during a cross country road trip from Oregon with my daughter and little dog in rural Harper, TX. AAA dispatched Fat Boy, and Jason went above and beyond to get to us quickly, put our spare on our tire, and even followed right behind us at 40mph to make sure we got ourselves to the Discount Tires in Kerrville safely on our spare.
AAA had mentioned that other towing companies in the area were not available at that hour or in that area, and I feel so fortunate Jason was. He later told me he considered how he would want to be treated if he were traveling far from home, did not know anyone in the area, and something like this happened to him. That kind of thoughtfulness absolutely showed in the way he helped us. THANK YOU, Jason, for your kindness, professionalism, and true care—and for making a stressful situation so much easier!
I would leave a zero star review if I could. They came out to change a flat for my DIL at her work and now the wheel key is missing. If you believe the driver, it was left on the drivers door handle (a custom $75 item that tire thieves would love to have) because he forgot to put it in the trunk before closing and she was inside already. So he notified no one and the key was not on the door handle when she left work for the day and it was not discovered missing until the next day. At that point I called and spoke with the manager who had a complete “I don’t care” attitude. Told me to file a complaint with AAA. When I asked if he was serious he said “Let me say it louder, file a complaint with AAA.” Meanwhile my DIL/SIL are spending the day trying to find a new key that will work and in the end will probably have to take it to a tire shop to have all four wheel locks cut off and replaced. No idea what that costs but I doubt it’s cheap. If AAA wants to send these guys out to you, ask for someone else. Read their reviews. I’m not the only one they’ve blown off. They are big and you are just a irritation they will write off.
A big thank you to fat boy service and to Mr Casey for going above and beyond to keeping me and my 1 year old safe when our car got a flat tire. They are the best and highly recommended in A1 service. May god be with y’all
These guys took great care of me by transporting my car from Kerrville down to San Antonio. It was a fair price and they handled the car with care. I definitely recommend them
Had a driver curse at me on the side of the freeway for not getting out of my car quickly enough, while cars were driving by. Called and got accused of throwing keys at the driver, the footage showed I did not, and got told that “nobody cares” by the manager. If AAA suggests this place, ask for another option.
We are in the area on vacation when we ran into car trouble. AAA dispatched this company to us and both the dispatcher and driver took incredibly good care of us. The driver got to us in under 10 minutes. I was distraught in such an unfamiliar place and 10 hours from home, but their calm and caring demeanor made me feel better. Thank you so much to these men for helping us.

I went through AAA and this was the towing company they dispatched to me. I am not a fan of riding in the car with strange men. In this instance it was necessary. I was a bit nervous leading up to his arrival. He pulled up and I went out to meet him. Immediately felt at peace with Keenae. He was kind, understanding and extremely helpful. I didnt have any reservations about getting in the truck with him. We had to drive a very long way and the conversation we had was delightful and he drove very carefully. What an outstanding employee you have in that young man! Do whatever you have to to retain him, he is a gem🙌 I will request him if my family ever needs a towing again. The worse experience that I ever in my life encountered. My 78yr old mother was in a ditch culvert on 173 and police called fat boy to get car out as I arrived he had the front wheel strapped across the front quarter panel and bumper area and I asked him to stop and driver got very pissy and went ahead and proceeded doing it and torn her whole side of her car off and up when it could of been done a better way or just stopped like I asked and it wouldn’t have been tore up or impounded like it is today. This was so unnecessary and unethical and I will be filing against this company do not use them they do not care about your vehicle at all!
In the beginning these people were very nice & seemed very determined to help me get my car back to Houston Tx to the mechanic shop being it was wrecked in Spring Branch Tx but as far as customer service and being prompt on time they are HORRIBLE. They lied for hours about the whereabouts of my vehicle and where it was at, my vehicle was supposed to be delivered to the mechanic shop within business hours here it is almost 6PM with the shop about to close and these people have yet to drop my vehicle off. First lie they said they were in Luling this morning at 9am headed to Houston being they couldn’t take the car last night because it was super late so I was fine with them taking it back to their secured storage until the next day… welll they tell me around 2-3PM their driver is “handling” things in the Luling Tx area and helping another driver with his tow truck and he’ll be on the way shortly mind you they’re telling the mechanic and me two different things so at this point as I’m typing this I’m annoyed. I don’t recommend this company and I shouldn’t be feeling bad for typing this review because I’m not that kind of person but you don’t lie to customers about their property (vehicle) making promising news and can’t deliver it on time!!! YES I understand they don’t go through tows and YES I know Houston traffic can be a mess but it’s no excuse for my car to not be dropped off in a timely manner and I’m not satisfied. My experience was awful and I just felt like I was lied to and treated unfairly. They should have been honest about was was causing the delays my car could have possibly been able to be fixed today but to lie and say you’re in Katy being I live in Katy and the location he stated he was at a HOUR ago it doesn’t take that long to drop my car off to the mechanic shop that’s 15 minutes up the road! GOODLUCK TO ANYONE who gets this company to tow them through Triple A you will be waiting for numerous of hours and told a bunch of lies!
Was connected with Fat Boy through AAA to put my spare on a flat. Leaha the dispatcher and Jason the technician were very kind and friendly, I really appreciate their help. I waited maybe an hour and a half from my initial roadside request through the AAA app until Jason arrived. I'm thinking the negative reviews have more to do with issues related to AAA system or insufficient amount of technicians servicing a large area. Thanks Fat Boy!
They were contracted by AAA to help me with a stalled car. AAA told me it would be an hour and a half and Fat Boy Towing would contact me. They never contacted me. Now I'm stranded in a remote parking lot in a town with no Ubers or public transit. I call AAA again, they say Fat Boy Towing will contact me. Again, nothing. 3 HOURS LATER, after 8 at night, they contact me. The guy was extremely rude. Explained that I was now at the hotel and no longer next to the car because I had no choice but to catch a ride to my hotel since they never got in touch with me. Made arrangements with them to meet me at 9:00 a.m. in the morning. The next morning, at 9:30 I call them and ask if they're still coming. The Fat Boy Towing guy again is super rude. Tells me he has a bunch of stuff to do and he doesn't know when he's going to be able to get to me, can't give me any kind of time frame. I tell him I've been waiting since the night before and I REALLY need some help, at which point he hangs up on me. AWFUL SERVICE AND HORRIBLY RUDE PEOPLE.
I could not be more pleased with services provided by Fat Boy towing via AAA Texas.The contact personnel were cordial and very helpful both at AAA and Fat Boy towing. The driver arrived on time, and he took a significant interest in the status of our vehicle. Very nice and professional man who knew what he was doing, and he was also efficient and conscientious while loading our car! And, the fee was very reasonable.

Please cancel your contract with AAA forever. This company is 40 miles outside of San Antonio. You can wait for hours for a tow truck and no one will contact you. The app says the tow truck will arrive within an hour, but it is never true. I have cancelled the request three times and hoped that they would transfer it to another company, but this never happened.
bad experience. Had a small puncture in the middle of my tire that let all the air out of my tire overnight. (was ok when arriving home after work)
AAA used this company and they came and the driver drove my car half a block down the road to put it on his flatbed; leaving behind pieces of rubber on my driveway and me asking the driver if he wanted me to inflate it before he drove and he declined.
Dealer said the sidewall was too damaged and the driver dropped it off too far from the service shop and it had to be driven even further on a flat. And the sidewall was mot likely damaged having being driven on a flat.

Just be careful when they pick your vehicle up, how far they drive it and where they drop it off.
I really do not like leaving negative reviews, but I was very polite and courteous throughout all this and they just told me to kick rocks basically.
After being stranded with our RV for over 5 hours waiting on insurance/roadside assist we called and Jason said he'd come out and assess free of charge and take it from there. It was raining and he was SO helpful. Got us safely to a campground and settled in. Definitely an answer to prayer - professional and kind. Thank you Jason and Fat Boy Towing!!
On a Saturday morning while everyone was still asleep, i started contacting Fat Boy Towing around 4:30am at 7am the owners wife i presume answered the phone politely,, at 9am as she told me the Yard supervisor showed up and i was able to retrieve my 2006 Dodge Charger i let my son use to go on Date... He was pulled over by Taco Bell Sidney baker for driving on his Phone... Legitimate pull over, yet arrested for a Vape he bought legally from the "Fog House" right behind the court house ??? Is this some deal between the city and the Vape shops to sell these "Vapes" to are kid's and then Reap the Benefits thru the municipal area's of Kerrville by Local police and Court Fee's adding in the Probation Fee's ???? Let's say $10,000 to the city for every Arrest made. Yes im Upset at the city but thank you Fat Boys for being extremely reasonable and professional !!! I let my Son use my Charger for a date and was Arrested over a legal Vape with the wrong charge.
I’ve read reviews regarding AAA & this company not getting the job done. This is not the case! I called AAA & had a similar experience. Was more than a little upset when I spent 3 hours standing in a parking lot & no one showed up. I was about to write this company off for good when I got a call from Jason with Fat Boy Towing. He explained to me that AAA was not dispatching them correctly. I was skeptical to say the least but Jason said he would be at my house in the countryside north of Fredericksburg at 9 am. He left with my vehicle about 10 minutes ago & my 9 am alarm is going off as I write this. Everyone complaining about this company who is going through AAA address your complaints to the right people at AAA. Not my boys at Fat Boy!
This company is supposed to be a AAA contracted tow company, meaning they get paid by AAA for their towing services and have agreed upon rates, etc…..YET, they still believe in unethical business practices and extortion of customers!! They made me wait 2.5 plus hours in a rural part of Bulverde, and when they Fiancè arrived tried to tell me AAA is only covering $500 for the tow and I have ro pay the driver an additional $220 out tellof pocket. They couldn’t explain the rates and milage breakdown to me over the phone and purposely waited until the driver got to me to extort additional payment, instead of informing me up front when the service call was placed over 2.5hrs ago. When I expressed my concern and frustration the manager showed no empathy or compassion and actually proceeded to chastise me and complain to me as if I was in the wrong!!! I will absolutely NEVER use them nor recommend them ever! And I will shout from the mountain tops to warn the world not to use them either!
I had a fuel filter separator valve go bad and had pushed my Denali 2500 diesel truck out of the garage thinking it was a battery issue. Needed the truck out for the jumper cables to reach which left it on a slope and perpendicular to the curved driveway. Called AAA once I confirmed that it was a fuel delivery issue and Brandon from Fat Boy Towing Inc. came to the rescue with his flatbed. He took the time and clearly explained how we would get the truck re-oriented to allow for proper loading and transport. His experience was beyond evident in getting this truck turned without damage and safely delivered to a dealership. He was a true professional and took charge of a difficult situation! 100% the best experience that one could have under the circumstances....👍🏼
I was stranded on the side of the road so I called my On Star to send someone but they didn't seem to know when a service truck would be available so I called AAA and they said a truck would be there in an hour or so. 15 minutes later the owner of Fat Boy Towing and Transport was there to come to my rescue! The owner said all his trucks were out and didn’t want anyone to sit there that long so he he said he thought it was my battery so jumped my car made sure it started referred me to a couple places and I was on my way. Thank you so much I will refer Fat Boy Towing and Transport to everyone I surely appreciated the excellent service in such a timely manner!
