Great place to get rid of metal and get some cash in return. I scrapped two 50 year old Datsun Roadsters after stripping all the good parts off of them. You just need to have a title so they can be sure you are not running a chop shop. Friendly folks. Just dropped off a truck bed load of metal scrap and got some money for it. A young fellow even hoped me unload which was pretty nice of him. Parting out my last Datsun Roadster parts car. Took part of it up last week and got some good pocket change. Very easy to deal with and always worth a trip.
Love coming here!!! The workers are always helpful friendly and so helpful! I would highly recommend bringing your recycled materials here they are always honest and up to date with the most current and completive pay outs.
Been going to this place for years now. Hands down the best people! It’s like dealing with friends you’ve known your whole life. They pay top dollar and never a question or argument about anything. I wouldn’t even consider any other place in hunt county!
BE WARY of them UNDERCUTTING what you bring in. They tried to classify my aluminum 6061 as breakage aluminum, which is a 1/3 of the payout. When I tried to point it out, I was interrupted and told this take the money or my items back. I took my items back. I handed it to another local scrap for free. NOT ALWAYS ABOUT MONEY customer service does count for something.
Bad experience. Several times I've called for prices minutes before and they wanted to pay less until I told them I just called. Especially the short older guy. The past 2 times I had to unload a full trailer and truck bed with no help. But quick to help other guys with full loads. Will not be back there watch these people, if they can cheat you they will.
Lazy had a few things mixed up was going to say my cooper was aluminum because on one piece of aluminum was in the bucket was rushing me to leave and I was barely there 20 minutes wouldn't recommend
This is the best metal recycler around hands down,the turn around for your trailer is kept very clean , and the employees are friendly not rude like others, this is the only place i will go ..
I have been bringing my scrap metal and other recycled items here for a very long time and never had any issues at all. They are the absolute best in every way. Everyone there is polite , helpful , knowledgeable , and professional. I am a small ayer in the recycling game but they treat me just as good as the big customers they have. I have no problem recommending this business to friends and family because I know they will be treated well and fairly. They are an asset to the county.
Very helpful and professional. The machine worker was highly skilled with the claw and was able to finesse awkward items off our trailer with ease. Highly recommend them for all of your scrap metal needs.
I love doing business here. The people at Greenville Metal Recyclers have consistently treated me so much better than what I actually deserve. I try to express my appreciation, but in all honesty, there is just no way that I could ever thank them enough. They're just that darn good to me :-)
Very rude people and service. They definitely take advantage of folks. Do not expect to get good price for copper or aluminum. I will not be back. Safety is a big issue at Greenville Metals.
This is the most dishonest scrap yard I've ever been to. The Hispanic young lady at the desk lied about the actual weight on our trailor, paid a lesser amount on metal, made racist comments about the president, she is uneducated on the types of metals and laws that are to be followed by ,according to the metal being sold. She only follows laws if they are convenient to them. I addressed the laws on certain metals and how she was breaking them ( example: buying whole air conditioner units when the seller doesn't have a license to sale it) she said and so what, what are you gonna do about it. Her father was unloading our trailer with the machine and ripped the flooring out of the trailor. Been doing this 15 years and this will be the first time I will be reporting a company to the better business bureau and an auditor from the state for illegal practices. We have to follow the laws, so should they. DONT USE THIS SCRAP YARD. New Phoenix Metals is a much better scrap yard.Oh, I also posted this same complaint on the company Facebook page and she made the page setting to no option of giving a review.
The workers here are very fast and professional. They unloaded a 16 foot trailer load of copper and compressors and other miscellaneous air-conditioning parts very quickly. Not only that, I made an extra $400 because they pay better than Reeds in Sulphur Springs. I will be doing all of my business here from now on.
This place is a rip off. They offered me .02 a pound for my scrap metal, went to New Phoenix and got .04 a pound. They tried to rip me off by half! Will never go there again, and tell everyone they are dishonest!
Best prices around for just about anything, and a much less risk of a nail in your tire than a lot of other yards. But they need a printed price sheet or at least a categories list.
