Price was entirely arbitrary for the distance and time required. No mention of time or fuel, just a flat $500.
Edit : needless to say, a business stationed in rural area has the final verdict and can use predatory, granted after-hours, fees; this was particularly frustrating more-so because there was no explanation on the digital invoice to what the difference in additional charges were added in comparison to a daily, normalized rate.
***UPDATE: Hi there! You have a dash camera? What is a dash camera going to show behind the truck? You are not that bright. This happened with the tow trucks sliding down trailer. He got too close to our shop garage door and slid down the sliding trailer to get the red car off and pried open into the bottom of our shop door pushing into the shop door, and from the pressure of the trailer it caused all the dents in the middle of the garage door. We have money. Live on acreage in a brand new house. We could easily replace our garage door but it doesn't seem right that we would have to do so when we didn't damage the door. A random person came on our property to drop this car off for a friend and apparently doesn't know how to drive. So stop acting like we are money hungry and want something free. We want the person responsible to fix the damage. So stop trying to make yourself look good and do what's right.
Anyone would have gotten angry if they had damage to their property and the person responsible didn't want to fix it. Please do upload the conversation so everyone can hear how condescending you sound and how you didn't care or want to help. So I suggest working on your professionalism.
However, as my husband stated we have footage from our neighbors camera and are working with AAA as we speak to get this resolved. Thanks for the reply!
These people are crooks. One of their drivers hit our shop door when delivering a car. As soon as my husband saw the damage, we called up there right away. They just gave us the run around. Transferred us a few times, then said we would get a call back.They never did. So we called up there again on Monday when we got off of work. We called and told them we need to get our door fixed it was hit by one of their drivers, the manager or whoever he is said they did not hit our door, that the driver said so. We then said well we had no damage prior to you guys dropping off the car to the shop. He said they have a picture of the car in front of the shop when they delivered it and he doesn't see any damage. Well mister you probably don't see the damage because the damage is behind the car. The car was about 2 feet from our shop garage door. The guy we spoke to was very unprofessional. He didn't care. We also asked for him to send us the picture he was referring to that had no damage, So we could see if you could even see the damage in the picture and if so we could point it out for them to see. He said he couldn't send us the picture. This place is trash. Worst customer service. I would not recommend using this place. Most likely he will respond to this post with a very smug remark as he has to all the other bad reviews.

The office lady asked if she could pray for me, that says alot about this company! We need more companies like this around the metro plex! I never thought a simple tow could turn into a high-pressure, nickel-and-dime nightmare, but that’s exactly what happened yesterday. After my accident, the state trooper called them in. Before I even had a chance to ask for an estimate, their driver pushed me out of the way and began hooking my car — effectively forcing me into a situation where I’d have to pay a “drop fee” just to get them to stop and provide a price quote.
When I finally spoke to their office, they quoted $325 to tow my vehicle 12 miles to my home — with no mention that, had they taken it to their yard instead, I’d be on the hook for $785 plus daily storage fees. The driver even suggested I file the charge with my insurance, knowing full well it would raise my premiums and cost more than paying out of pocket. That was completely inappropriate and felt like a ploy to push costs onto my carrier.
Despite the state trooper giving me clear permission to call my own tow, the driver claimed his office wouldn’t allow it. I had to physically stop him, re-involve the officer, and endure the trooper’s visible frustration just to reclaim control of my own vehicle.
After paying the exorbitant fee — because I was given no real choice — they delivered my car to my driveway, but ignored my instructions. The driver drove unnecessarily through my yard, parked where I had specifically asked him not to, and left the vehicle positioned in a way that will now require me to pay for yet another tow.
This was hands-down the worst tow experience I’ve ever had. The lack of transparency, aggressive tactics, outright price-gouging, and blatant disregard for my rights and property were outrageous. Avoid them at all costs — choose a reputable, transparent provider who respects their customers.
While traveling to Dallas, my car unexpectedly broke down in Greenville, Texas. I was quickly picked up by Shane from Benson Bros, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about him. Not only was he incredibly fast to respond and made sure I got safely to the local Nissan dealership, but he went above and beyond in every way possible.
Shane didn't just drop me off and leave, he took the time to ask if my mom would be coming to pick me up or if I needed help getting to a rental car location so I could still make it to my work conference in Dallas. He even made calls to help figure out my options and stayed with me until we confirmed I would be heading to the local Enterprise. Out of the goodness of his heart, he personally drove me to Enterprise to make sure I was taken care of.
What started as a very stressful and overwhelming day turned into a moment of relief, all because of Shane’s kindness and dedication. He was truly a Godsend in a desperate time of need.
I would recommend Benson Bros over and over again, especially Shane. Thank you for everything!

It’s not often I find compassionate honest people this day and age but Cam with Benson Brothers is top notch. I was in a tough spot and he was my tow driver, we had a great conversation on the way to the dealer. Wasn’t sure a deal was going to happen with my busted down car and he offered to wait as long as he could so I didn’t need to take an uber back. Outstanding service and true southern hospitality, go wings!

They sent their driver Mr. Cameron that drove really far and many miles to come help me in the dark, rainy, stormy, very difficult and serious situation.
I had got stuck on the dirt road I turned onto on County Rd. 2702, that I did not know it was a dirt road and the condition that it was in because I was being navigated to the road by my job navigation system. It was raining, thunder storming and lightning really bad and the road had became very wet, muddy and with water hole puddles.
I tried to reverse and go back when I saw the condition of that road but, I couldn’t because I got stuck and my tires got bedded and had sunken down in it the wet and muddy dirt more, especially my left front tire.
At first it seemed like there was not a way for me to be able to get out because his truck would have got stuck. In the rain and all the muddy dirt and water puddles Mr. Cameron
knowledge, wisdom, expertise and skills,
he came up with a solution and he was able to get me out. I will forever humbly be so very thankful and appreciative of Mr. Cameron and Benson Bros. Towing Service

The person that towed me in-town was very calm, knowledgeable & nice. The company didn’t charge me an arm & a leg, either, like Petty’s Wrecker Service did.
Awesome experience all things considered. Cameron picked me and my broken down truck/trailer up, and made sure I was able to get my trailer home with a U-Haul rental. He didn’t have to take me to the gas station or the U-Haul rental place, but he did with no issues. His level of customer service is rarely seen in today’s times, and I really appreciate him. The Benson Bros. team really saved the day for me and my family this past month. Locked out of our rental vehicle, they were on-site in less than 30 min., and they were able to get us into the vehicle and on our way to the airport. Today I had my wife's Chevy Blazer EV picked up for service, and I cannot say enough good things about Shane (the driver) who assisted us. From the moment he arrived, he took the utmost care to ensure the vehicle was safely and securely loaded onto the truck and ensured my wife's Blazer was properly handled and protected during the journey to the dealership.
What really stood out, though, was how Shane went above and beyond by keeping me informed every step of the way. He not only provided reassurance that the vehicle would be well taken care of during transport but also made sure I had all the necessary information, including the dealership's service advisor details, before he personally left the dealership. Shane ensured everything was wrapped up smoothly, leaving no stone unturned with me.

Dispatch was quick to answer and get a truck to me for a tow to Discount Tire very quickly.
