I really liked this place. The oak trees had lost their leaves and I called to have an acorn towed out of my yard. While waiting for them to arrive, my truck blew a tire. I couldn't find the acorn at night, so I asked if they would just tow my truck instead. They did and did a really good job
Needed a towing service to tow my boat that had a blown out bearing. Kevin The driver came and he was very careful and took care of my boat. Make sure he didn’t drag my motor on the back end just very, very professional very nice and I really appreciate it. How he took care of me. I talked to his boss Kevin and he was also very nice. I let him know how wonderful Kevin the driver was. I just want to say thank you to acorn for exceptional people and exceptional service. Would definitely recommend them.
I just want to get on getting to recommend Acorn Towing, I’ve been using them for almost 10 years on multiple occasions. Anytime I have ever been in a bad position they hurry to me. (4am at the gas station alone, & locked outside in the heat) I have personally used them more than I would like to admit
But they have surpassed my expectations in customer service as well as promptness & communication. The owner himself even helped me get a new car battery when times were very tough years ago. I will never forget the kindness!!
Quick service, very knowledgeable, but most of all fair pricing, they do not try to gouge you in this day and age. It's hard to find a company that is both cost-efficient and reliable. Oh, so compassion to the customer's needs outstanding. Alcorn
Middle of the night, car went off road.. it's sucked... his drivers were out and not available, so the owner came and got us.. super bad arse... called multiple tow companies, prices were outrageous. He worked out a fair budget, and needless to say that business done like this is far and few in-between. Will recommend anytime when you need someone reliable and shoots u straight.
Very quick & affordable. The man who helped us tow the truck back home was so helpful too. Very kind, Thankful God put him in our path. I’d use Acorn towing services again.
This towing company is the worst. Vehicle kept for about a week. When asked how much fees were each day, this man stated $22 a day. Explain to me how $22 a day for less than week, totaled out to $900!?!? Way to rip people off. If I could rate it a negative score, I would.
Absolutely great service. Top notch communication along the way. I never once wondered where the driver was or when the driver would arrive. He said 30-45 minutes and he was there in 38.

I called the owner asking to tow my car from my house in Granbury TX to the body shop in Pantego TX. I been told by the owner it would cost $335.00 and I can paid by credit card. After I received my statement the charge was $348.40 . I called back talking to the owner asking him why it was more than what I was agreed to. Heres what he told me " do you ever own a business
?" I said "No" He said "we add 4% to the charge" I asked " why did you not tell it upfront, I would pay cash". I asked for the reimbursed of the $13.40 overcharge. He said " No" I told him I will write a review let everyone beware of it, then he yelled and threated me "if you write a bad review, I will take you to court ". I hang up because I don't want anymore listen to him yelling. It was a horrible experience .
They were prompt in retrieving my vehicle when we lost the keys and didnt have a spare set. We had to have it towed to the dealership to get new keys made but wound up costing me an extra $200 to replace a tire they tore up in the process. The driver told me he pulled the tire off the rim while getting the vehicle, but it just needed to be aired up. That was innacurate. I have used this company in the past and had great experiences. This driver may have just been having a bad day.

My vehicle suddenly would not let me shift gears and it was blocking traffic at discount tires..
I was on my way to work and had to call my supervisor to let them know that I need the day off..
I was stressed out frustrated..
Thankfully Acorn arrived and saved the day..
The driver knew how to manually shift under the vehicle so the car could be driven out of the way..
The vehicle problem was a broken clip that links the shifter lever to the transmission..
less than $30 at O'Reilly's..
The driver declined the offer of payment.
He is such a good person..

Pick up was fine, but then they did not move the car to the repair shop after receiving two notices from Allstate. It sat for a month in their lot even though All-State notified them, paid them, and the car was released by the owner and expected by the repair shop. Now my 74 year old mom is without a car because they let it sit in their lot while racking up the fees and insurance stops paying for a rental car after so many days (whether it is being repaired or sitting in a towing lot). Allstate paid them over $1500. They scored big, insurance didn't care. WARNING, do NOT let them tow your vehicle back to their lot, tow it directly to a car repair lot.
I called them to have my car towed. They told me that it would be an hour and a half before they would be available. I started to tell him the location of my car and that I wrecked it earlier that morning. I then said I just spoke to state trooper and he said it needs to be moved from the side of the road. The guy on the phone tells me the trooper will not wait an hour and a half for it to be towed and to call someone else. So two and a half hours later Don's Towing does the job. I would rate zero stars but you can only rate between 1 and 5 stars.
Our car was towed to an incorrect location (by another company) and we were struggling to find a way to get it back to Granbury and the correct dealership. I was on the phone with the owner around 10:30 am and had a price and plan within 10 minutes. I thought the price was reasonable, given the distance from Haltom City to Granbury. The driver, Corey, was very communicative. He called to tell me he was headed to get the car, he called to tell me when the car was on his truck and he called when he had the car back at the dealership in Granbury. They did all of this with a calm and positive attitude. I could not have been happier with their service. Thank you, both!!
An Acorn driver ran off the road onto my property taking down a tree, damaging our newly paved road and digging deep trenches in our front yard. A man, who later introduced himself as the owner, rudely asked what I wanted when I inquired if he owned the company. I asked what he was going to do about the deep trenches and damage to the pavement, and he was even more rude when he said he would return to rake "a little gravel." Of course he did not return, I am not going to waste my time trying to get him to replace the young tree, repair the road or fill in the trenches. The owner also wrapped a chain around a neighbor's tree, very small trunk, to help pull the wrecker out of my hard. He did not ask the neighbor for permission to come on his property and the tree made some cracking sounds when the truck was reeling in the chain. Very unprofessional. Have to wonder how he handles customers when the tow does not go well.
Kevin from Acorn Towing is a LIFE SAVER! We accidentally locked our keys in the car and he got to us in less than 5 mins and was able to get my tricky car unlocked before it came down to breaking a window. Highly recommend this company and they will ALWAYS have our business!
I was calling around for a few days on getting towed from Stephenville, Tx to Garland, Tx. Acorn towing quoted me at a fair more than reasonable price. They were prompt on timing and arrived when stated. Also, very polite and great communication skills.
Kevin at Acorn was VERY polite and professional. He was the fourth tow company I called as others didn't answer their phone or couldn't get to me today. He was reasonably priced at $60, took payment over the phone, and texted me a receipt. I REALLY appreciate the great customer service!
Great company. They were a quick response to tow us from a wreck. Very professional and accommodating. They went above and beyond to help us. They came and met us on a Sunday so we could get our personal belongings out of our vehicle. I will recommend them to everyone.
