I did not understand something correctly and this company could have easily taken advantage of me but absolutely did not . They were very honest and have great integrity . They went above and beyond to help me something that is not as common now days. I highly recommend this place. Great people.

They've taken such good care of me and my car over the past year. I can't even begin to describe it, but it's a hilarious story. Love this place. We'll always call them for all of our wrecker needs, also...They have the best pricing in the entire area.

I took my friend there to pick up his car after it was towed by the police. What can I say, it's a wrecking yard. I can say they are very dishonest because they went through my friends.Entire car. From the center council to the back seats, and even in the glove compartment. The parking lot was a mess. It's simply a dirt yard, and you park, anywhere you can fit. The people that work in the office were nice, but they should be after what people go through to get their cars back. I'm not sure if they tell your car if needed, but they certainly pick up cars for the police. I can't recommend because this wasn't a good experience.

Big shout out to these guys…I had a DTU blow a tire on the way back from delivering a truck and these guys came right out and assisted us. Excellent Service and Great Professionalism! If you need help in this area of the country definitely give them a call! You won’t be disappointed. Our 11,000 lb motor home got stuck in the mud in the middle of nowhere. We were panicked. Within 2 hours the gentleman arrived, spoke calmly, gave us instructions and proceeded to pull us out. Heroes take many forms. He was a hero to us.

Had a vehicle all the way in Colorado that needed a new motor called Holt’s wrecker they helped get the vehicle all the way from Colorado to Athens tx and then put a brand new crate engine in the jeep rubicon there is nothing this company can’t do ! I went to an RV rally right outside Athens, that took place in a field off of a dirt road. While there for a long weekend it rained three nights which created soft ground for driving. Short story…my Motorhome kept slipping on the moist ground and grass so I was stuck. Ryan with Holt’s came to the rescue. He helped troubleshoot and create solutions to get me out of the wet area and position my tag axel Motorhome so that I could drive back to the road. Fantastic service! I highly recommend these guys!

Three times now Holt's has come to my aid when I have had trouble with my horse trailer. First I had blown wheel bearing, second, I had two blown tires, and third I had a broken axle. Ryan and his team go above and beyond to assist

A local tire shop's alignment mechanic was out and I was referred to Holt Wrecker for alignment. Good group of guys there at Holt. They aligned my vehicle and did not discriminate that is was 20 years old. I will be back to have gear box replaced and ball joints at a later date. Highly recommend this business.

These people deserve your business! I am a home hospice nurse and, like any sensible person, ran out of gas at 1:30 am on my way to a patient’s house one morning. It’s was 30 degrees outside and I was stranded in the dark five miles outside of Athens. The first guy I called “couldn’t help me” but Holt’s had a driver there in about 30 minutes. His name was Jason and he was very friendly and worked quickly, especially for being called out of bed in the middle of the night! He got my car to the gas station and jumped my battery and I was good to go. Wish I could give him a raise or some paid vacation or both, he was just so kind! Also, the total charge came in under $100 which I thought was really reasonable. Thank you Holt’s!!!

I cannot thank these folks enough!!! Was stranded last night off 175. Ryan came and towed my car to his service shop and really took the time to explain everything as he checked my car out, even late at night! He then went even more above and beyond, transporting me to a convenience store and hotel for the night. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am that they were nearby so willing to help me out. Mike also went above and beyond to help get my car out the next day and also brought me to the shop from the hotel. These are some real good people. Highly highly recommend!!

24 hour service that is there rain or shine. Very courteous and knowledgeable. Was stuck in a sink hole and the driver got my truck out no problem. No damages to the vehicle and very professional during the winch out. If you need anything talk to Ryan Holt

We had a bearing go out on our travel trailer in November 2020. They were able to arrive within a short amount of time, load up the camper and take it to a place to repair the bearings. We received excellent service!

We were on our way to Texas State Railroad so we were on a very tight schedule. We had a flat tire on the way. Holt’s came and met us, took the tire for repair. We followed to the shop and the team knew we were in a hurry. Several techs worked to get the spare off, fix the leak and get it back on! Great service, friendly, professional, and they made sure we were back on track! Thanks guys!

I was visiting some family in Texas and got my huge van stuck in the sand. I called my insurance company- they said they had someone on the way. When I called the # for the tow truck that the insurance provided (3 hours after no tow truck showed up), the # I called was another towing service in Texas and they got confused and thought I was trying to reach Holt's wrecker. After getting xfered to them I was so upset with the dang insurance company but the dude on the phone was really nice and he assured me he had someone on the way. They were super professional and towed me out within 15 min of showing up. These guys are awesome! :) If I got stuck in Texas again, I'd definitely use them.

Had a tire blowout on our travel trailer while going to Galveston. It was only then that I found out that my trusted 4-way lug wrench didn't fit in the tight space on the wheel! My roadside assistance service didn't have a contractor nearby and after reaching out to 15 other towing companies, only Holt's could do the job. The tech that responded made quick work of the job and got us back on our way promptly. Everyone was very polite and helpful!

Broke down 20 miles outside Athens. I called a couple of wrecker services.. Holt answered my call, towed my Jeep and performed repairs. Super fast, friendly and reasonable repair costs. I would recommend Holt's, if ever in need ?

Very kind, speedy, patient, and efficient with average rates for the area. The last driver put me on the right track to fix my car. He was right.It was an ignition coil. The other driver towed my car further than he had to a year ago for no extra charge after I found out my old car would need to be taken to a different garage.

Did it darn good job looking after my wife and i and our three little kids. Gave us a rundown on the town and recommended a good Inn, loaded our Suburban up as careful as they could, quick response on getting us off the road and back on the road. Thank you a whole bunch! (If you don't know anything about lower ball joints popping out, usually, when most tow truck companies drag the vehicle on the rollback you end up losing a fender due to the nature of the tires movement when missing a lower ball joint, but these guys did a good job and I believe I got lucky!)

We were evacuating Louisiana from Hurricane Delta Headed to Mesquite, TX. when our transmission on our vehicle stopped pulling. I wasted no time searching for a tow service. I came across Holt’s Wrecker Service. Athens, TX. I spoke with Mr. Ryan he immediately took my info an dispatched a truck my way. In no time at all Matt Freeman showed up to tow us in. He was very professional and kind. Being a veteran in this business myself & owner of my own tow service back in Louisiana I was very pleased that even being so far, I got treated like I treat my own customers back home. My truck with slide in camper on Saturday night night broke down 6 miles away from Athens. I am from MN and did no know who to call. A gentleman asked if I needed help. He called Holt and they not only towed me to their garage, but let me plug into their electric service panel so I could stay on the property in my camper overnight. Their repair shop is normally not open on Sunday, but they replaced my alternator and got me down the road again! Incidentally, another guy in a vehicle pulled up Saturday night and asked if I needed help. Come to find out the wife of this person was the business’s daughter. He helped the wrecker connect my truck to wrecker! Very good honest reliable. Athens TX is best place to break down!!! Thank everyone so much.

We drove over a sharp curb and gashed/flatted the motorhome's tire. They had the right size tire in stock and were able to get to us and change it out within a little over an hour. (Unfortunately, AAA didn't have them listed as mobile tire repair, so it took is some searching and word of mouth to find them - but once we did, AAA took care of the service call and mounting, and all we had to pay for was the tire itself. ) Thanks to Robert for being so quick, friendly, and hard working in the hot, hot sun today, and getting us back on the road quickly.

Very knowledgeable people who charge a fair rate on their services. Not like others that will take advantage of you. I would highly recommend this company for any wrecker services or auto and semi-truck repair. There's not very much that I'm aware of that they can't work on. They sell tires for just about anything that rolls and do tire mounting and repair also.

Had to call after hours for blowout on trailer tire. Tech met us at shop. Ended up buying 4 new tires on trailer. Prices were good and service charge was less than I expected. Will definitely bring back my business and highly recommend them. Great work guys! Tech's attitude was great for being called out late too.
