No one plans to have a car towed after buying groceries and driving 45 miles home. The car dies about 20 miles from the house, and all the tow companies are swamped (busy Wed in the Hill Country, I guess). Fortunately for us, Greg and Hill Country Autoplex only had one job before ours. He was very professional, courteous, and concerned about our safety. He was also very communicative, letting us know when he was delayed, when he left to help us, and when he got to the car dealership with the car -- confirming contact information to leave for the service department. We have an electronic transmission and we had put the car in park, not neutral, when it died. It took us an additional 30 minutes to determine what needed to be done to get the car out of park so it could be towed. Greg was very patient with us through the process. We highly recommend Hill Country Autoplex and hope that Greg is on duty when you need his help !

I got into an accident on Christmas Eve as it was getting dark. Greg arrived quickly, helped me while I was in shock and made sure I got to a hotel safe and sound. He was also very communicative over the next couple days as I took care of logistics. The owner and staff are professional and personable and made a stressful situation manageable. I would hands down recommend them if you have any needs while in the area.

Greg answered my call on Sunday of memorial weekend. Came out and met me near Bankersmith. Took me back to Alamo springs ranch. Price was excellent considering holiday weekend. Will use again.

My son rolled his car on a wet road on a very lucky day - he get to walkaway. Greg from Hill Country Autoplex towed the car. What impresses me was how considerate and kind Greg was to our family. I get to retrieve items from the car the same morning and he even made arrangement for us to go back the same day to look for additional items. Thank you Greg!

My daughters car had an oil leak. I called and they were at my house within 30 minutes to pick the car up and take it to my mechanic. They were very professional and reasonable. We will definitely use them again.

I used HC Autoplex (Fredericksburg, TX) today to tow my vehicle to the nearest auto dealer/service shop (about 90 miles round trip). The driver arrived quickly, within 45 minutes. He called in advance to confirm he was enroute to my location. He was efficient, courteous, friendly, and very helpful. Within a few minutes my car was secured to the towing bed and the driver was on his way. He called from the dealership to confirm he had arrived and dropped off the car. Excellent service. Would definitely call them again.

Great people & service! My dad’s turbo on his diesel went out and were stranded 30 miles outside of Fredericksburg. We called the Ford dealership and they recommended Hill Country Autoplex. Greg came in the flatbed tow truck to get the truck and the owner, Aaron, ran home to get his personal truck to tow my dad’s 5th wheel trailer in to town. This was at 6:00 on a Friday evening. They were very prompt and helpful. The great and friendly service made our stressful situation much easier to deal with. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Greg, the tow truck driver, was beyond helpful and professional in my family's time of need. We were broken down in the late hours of a Friday night, and he was the ONLY driver in the area that would even take our call, much less come to the rescue! We called every single 'tow truck' in the Fredricksburg area, and got no response, no call back, and no answer until he answered our prayers. Being stuck twenty miles from nowhere as the sun is going down with two toddlers, a dog, and a tired wife is not a good place to be in, and frankly, I was a little scared. I cannot tell Greg how much my family and I appreciate the prompt response and 'above and beyond' service he gave us! He even drove us to a local hotel, after towing my truck to a repair shop, so that we wouldn't be out in the cold and waited on us to make sure we got in safe and sound. A million thanks Greg!

My husband had an accident and the vehicle was taken to Hill Country Autoplex; a member of our insurance team has pictures of the car when it was taken in with plates and pictures of when it was sent to auction without plates. Our plates were stolen and somehow ended up in Florida after whoever bought/took them ended up getting a ticket from a red light camera. While we won't be responsible for the ticket it is an incredible headache to take care of this as we don't live in either Texas or Florida. We just want to have some follow up to which employee stole or sold our plates and caused this situation for us; we want answers. Edit: We did call and had no help, no apologies, and no explanation; like I stated earlier, we have photographic proof that the totaled car went in with plates and left without. I'm not attempting to hurt your business, but when you call and get blown off, the internet tends to get a message across. The owner of this company has since called and threatened my husband, while screaming and swearing at him. This is not the way to get a 1 star review removed.

They were very nice and helpful met with me after hours so I could get things out of my car so I give it an A+ and thank you very much
