They tried to offer me $13 for an ENTIRE spool of copper 16 awg.... 75 lbs. I went to River City Steel and got $202.... That's $189 difference. The lady here claimed It was because it's insulated. She suggested that if I strip the plastic she can offer $1.69. I got $2.69/ ft in River City Steel I got a 1,453.8% difference driving less than a mile further. Moral of the story? Drive 45 miles away and get way more money.

Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 50 miles to Uvalde’s recycling yard. Took 5 acs to this place and got 200 dollars. Took a smaller one to Uvalde and got 160 for JUST ONE . It’s well worth the drive to anywhere but this one.
