This place is awesome. They replaced my transmission on my car and it runs excellent. Now they replace struts, shocks and did an alignment on my 2012 F150. They made sure to scan for any codes. Prices are VERY REASONABLE! They will not cheat you or mark up prices. I don’t mind driving 45 minutes out of town for Great service.
They replaced the valve body on my Infiniti Q70, after checking the other modules and sensors (it was having shifting/acceleration issues). It's an expensive part that has to be programmed by Infiniti. I would have taken it to a dealership, but their service reviews are mostly bad, especially when it comes to this type of repair.
Cuero Automotive was able to install the new valve body as soon as it arrived. I've been driving my car for awhile now and it's as good as new. They did excellent work! 10/10
We are very grateful to the owners for taking care of us. A tire on our RV flew off as we were traveling. (tire, rim and sheared lug nuts) The repairs were taken care of in a timely manner. Very Professional and a great price. Thank you again.
The new mechanic that they got, Zane is one of a kind. Very knowledgeable fast and efficient. I have no problem taking my vehicles to have him work on them there great job.
On our way back to Michigan from the RGV the Check Engine light came on on our Jeep Cherokee. After getting an initial assessment from Riley's Auto Parts we ended up at Cuero Automotive. They were very busy, short several mechanics and it was about 2:00 PM on a Monday. But the owner checked the car out with his computer. We needed a new spark plug and coil on the #1 cylinder. It was the only one he could reach without taking the intake manifold off. Jordan ordered the parts, they were delivered and installed and we were back on the road in just over an hour.
The owner was very accommodating, extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend this shop to anyone either traveling through or in the area. Terrific service. Thank you!

The alternator failed on my vehicle on our road trip to visit family. We got stranded about 15 miles outside of Cuero. They owner of the shop recommended a tow service. They were able to diagnose and repair our vehicle the same day. We were back on the road a few hours later. Everyone at the shop was very kind. They had an air conditioned waiting area. We had our dog with us and they were ok with her being in there with us. They are a busy shop and seemed to have a lot of repeat customers. Thank you so much we really appreciate your help.
Good work on a work vehicle fixed brakes, rotor and other problems with the vehicle still have to return to get back brakes and other problems fixed. But very satisfied with the work. Plus they have peacocks roaming around which was nice to see
Jimmy is the nicest man! We were on our way down to the coast for thanksgiving and our truck started acting funky after we changed the oil in the morning. Their shop closed in 20 minutes but he still helped us out. It ended up being an easy fix but he could have easily turned us away and he didn’t. Jimmy deserves a raise and a fishing trip!!
My daughter was enroute to the coast and heard a scrapping sound underneath her car. Pulled into Cuero Automotive. They put it on the lift and found the plastic undercover sheet had come loose on the front and was dragging. Popped a few screws in it all fixed. Didn't charge her!!!
Wow! People working here seriously have restored our faith in humanity! We were on a roadtrip and had a car issue. I'm so thankful they were the closest mechanic to us! They got us in quickly and back on the road within minutes! Thank you!!!!
Got oil change done. Very friendly, knowledgeable and flexible. They seem very busy and were able to squeeze me in as walk in. They even have products from BG! I had been trying to get their oil for years. They're also looking to hire technicians.
I've been waiting for 2 months and they have my mother's van and said they would let us know what needs to be done but ever week a different excuse! I can't comment on their work because I have yet to receive any but they are very slow and Jay was the individual that I have been waiting on for weeks for a return call.
Jay & everyone we have talked with there have been as helpful and understanding as possible. He ans his crew have gotten us through major (transmission replacement) and minor maintenance work.

The customer service at Cuero Automotive is way beyond the standard in the automotive field. Jay is just wonderful. The pricing is really fair. The mechanics really know what they are doing, and they get you fixed and on the road so fast I wouldn't even consider bringing my vehicle anywhere else after finding this garage.
They actually let me watch the entire process while the mechanic replaced the pads and resurfaced the rotors for my vehicle. I first took my vehicle to another shop and was quoted at over twice the price compared to Cuero automotive. This is the place to bring your vehicle.
Experiencing a break down on the road is about as traumatic an experience as you can have. We limped into Cuero Automotive Service and Repair in our motorhome and all of the personnel there were friendly, efficient, and quick to respond to our needs. They were truly a blessing to us. We highly recommend them for their quality work, fair pricing, and courteous helpfulness!
Went to pick up keys an waited some time before even being acknowledged. Once he acknowledged me, said he would be right with. After waiting for him to shoot the breeze with the other gentleman. I decided to leave because that is extremely rude!

I will NEVER take my vehicles to any other shop!! They are honest, efficient, very knowledgeable, and go above and beyond!!! I have been using them for 5+ years, and have multiple vehicles. they are in the business to help people, not to get rich. They are hands down the best automotive shop!
I was actually broke down in their driveway. VERY nice people! Offered me water and air conditioning, lol. I would consider having them work on my vehicle from that interaction alone.

Had blowout and was stuck on side of hwy with nothing close by. Staff was very friendly and Reassuring since I’m sure I sounded a little panicked... Reasonable price wise and Went the extra mile checked all my tires before I left.
This is the best shop in Texas!! We were three hours from home when our car belt shredded. We pulled in and the gentleman came right out and helped us immediately. They offered us water, cold ac, and some crayons and paper for my daughter as entertainment. We were back on the road in no time flat. So very thankful.
