Thieves. Called at 1109 pm. Camera captured tow at 1056 pm. Yes by park and tow who Big town will say they aren't associated with but they are. Explained to "supervisor" on nights had gone to Mavs game and forgot in a rush to get there. Two weeks earlier had car towed. Admittedly my fault. But I was there and paid for vehicle at 1137pm. Car got dropped at 1141. The car wasn't even there when we paid for it. The "supervisor" said the tow truck had a "blowout" on the way which tells me they operate faulty equipment. Big town and park and tow not willing to work with me. Have only not registered one other time and they took it then. The timing shows they could have easily dropped the car in place, after I admitted my mistake and easily not towed it risking damage to the vehicle. Car towed from Luxia Rockwall Downes to Big Town Impound. I drove from downtown Dallas and beat the tow truck there. These people target your car and are vultures.

Towed my car for no reason even though I registered my car to park at the apartments

Impolite - predatory towing practices…. Tiny signs about registering - bad website - lots full of cars - raccoons climbed all over my car, but luckily I like raccoons.

There company is a joke. They charge you the legal maximum of $272.. on top of more illegal charges for “storage fees and impound fees”. Mind you the vehicle wasn’t there for no more than a few hours and all they have to say for themselves is “it doesn’t matter if it’s been there 5mins, we still are gonna charge you a days worth… $321 over a 17mins expired pass. I’d never recommend them to anyone they are just greedy

Mr.John was amazing! I called with several questions after paying for parking a few days at my apartment complex. He walked me through the correct way to upload my vehicle documents. Very patient, kind and throughly. Thank you so much Mr.John!

Our car was towed even though the car is registered through my apartment . They talk to you like you are wrong and even though I have the rules in writing that they violated, they treat you like you know nothing. They have responded to basically every comment saying they are not the towing company yet, big town impound and park and tow solutions, the towing company, share the same physical address. This place is rude and if you want to know the lady's name we talked to on the phone,i can give you time and date of call, check your employee schedule. Both the towing company and impound lot should be ashamed for their towing practices.

Towing from an apartment complex should be illegal. Especially if its parked there all of 7 hours.

My apartment complex told me to call you I have no parking spots due to my down stairs neighbors having 6 cars I have complained multiple times and the woman on the phone is very RUDE I HAVE A PATIO CAMERA AND YALL DO NOT COME TO MY APARTMENT SECTION ON THE REPUBLIC EAST!!!! I can show you my camera footage for the lady to basically tell me I’m lying I have been here 2 years and my camera has not and will not detect a tow bc YALL DO NOT COME THIS FAR BACK BC THEY GET MISTAKEN FOR OTHER APARTMENTS !!!

I dealt with Matt today. He was a big help. Registering my car was kind of confusing especially if you're not real handy on the computer so I called and he made it seem very easy. Now I am registered!!!! Thanks Matt. 10 star if it would let me.

Avoid This Company —Disorganized, and Towing Residents by Mistake,Predatory and Rude As a current resident, my car was wrongfully towed even though I had submitted my vehicle for approval. I showed proof—screenshots and everything—but was still told to send it to a number so they could “double-check.” Once they realized they were in the wrong, they offered to reduce the fee from $321 to $175, as if they were doing me a favor. Thankfully, my apartment office stepped in and I didn’t have to pay anything. While I was there, I saw multiple other residents dealing with the same issue. It’s clearly a recurring problem. Their system is a mess, and the staff—especially Summer—was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. They’ll claim they’re “just the storage company,” but they review documents, negotiate fees, and profit off every wrongful tow. That’s not storage—it’s predatory. This company is part of the problem, not a neutral third party. Property managers: don’t let them scam your residents.

I won a car here through their auction and one of the male employees was upset that I outbid him and he scratched the "B" word on the hood of the car. He was also conveniently the person who brought the car out from the back impound area. I have before and after photos. Management seemed to care less when I reported it. I suggest you be very careful when dealing with this company.

I had an extremely unethical experience with this tow company. When I went to retrieve my vehicle, I clearly instructed staff which card I wanted to use for payment. Instead, they ran a different card without my authorization. I immediately notified them and also calling my bank (on a recorded line) about this charge. Despite my direct objections, the company has refused to refund the unauthorized charge. Their actions not only violate my trust but also consumer protection laws against unauthorized credit card use. I will dispute the transaction with my bank and I have filed a formal complaint with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. They actively have 2 complaints against them with TDLR. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid doing business with this company due to their unethical billing practices and failure to correct known errors. And they damaged my car during they towing process

They towed my vehicle at 1207 am and they decided to go 90 miles an hour down the highway with my car. They also picked the car up ar 1207am but didn't drop it at the impound til 443am. They stole my car basically. Management didn't care about the complaint. I have filed a police report, bbb complaint and with the TDLR. I even told them I have lo jack on my car.

If I could give zero stars, I would—except for Summer, who was the only person at Big Town Impound that treated me with compassion and decency. She’s the reason this isn’t a one-star review. I had to retrieve my car from impound two days in a row under extremely frustrating circumstances. Day 1: My vehicle was towed even though there were no restricted parking signs posted where I had parked—something clearly visible in the photos I took (stalled vehicle was parked in white box). When I arrived to pick up my car, I explained that it had a jammed ignition switch and couldn’t be driven. I was told they would bring it out to the lot so a mechanic could work on it. The staff member I spoke with showed no concern that I’m a Disabled Veteran on a fixed income, or that the car wasn’t even illegally parked. When I asked about reducing the fee due to the circumstances, his exact response was: > “If I lower the price, it comes out of my pocket.” That kind of response tells you all you need to know about their priorities. Day 2: After paying $321 the first time, I was told by another employee it would be okay to leave the vehicle in their lot while I waited for a part and a mechanic. When I returned the next day to install the part, the car was gone—towed again, without warning. Yes, I had to pay to retrieve it again. The only saving grace was Summer, who handled the situation with empathy and didn’t charge me the full amount. She was professional, understanding, and clearly values people over profit. This company’s practices felt predatory and lacked any real customer care—except for one person. If you see Big Town Impound on your radar, I strongly recommend proceeding with caution.

How is this place still standing. Does the city not look into reviews or care that a local is business is stealing people's property to charge them for it back!? I I registered my car right before they towed it. When they realized it they changed the pickup time to 10 mins prior. I hadn't even been parked for 5mins. As soon as I walked in the apt I registered it. I called and they told me the pickup time and when I told them it was registered they changed it on the car by the time I picked it up..unreal

Nobody likes having their vehicle towed but I received good customer service. It's best to pay cash with exact change. The use of a debit or credit card adds 2% to your total AND it must be in your name. No tap and pay (cardless payments) are accepted. The price goes up another $22 or so dollars after 12 hours of your vehicle being impounded. The tow yard is located off the highway and is easy to miss because there is no sign on the main road.

Yall watch out they some scammers my friend had her car parked in her own apartments car registered and all all parking spaces was taken so she parked in guest they still towed it which is dumb because why are you not taking away the cars that’s not suppose to be in people spots that are registered and live there? whenever yall ready we can protest 🪧 out in the front and get them shut down lawyers ready they also damaged the car and tore the bottom panel in half whole thing is literally torn in half… so you towed a car that’s registered in the apartments and damaged it? someone needs to pay

the BIG BACK white lady at the front is very rude and lazy, I came in to try and get my car out at 5am after a long night at work I had to Uber home from work to pick up some money and then Uber here to pick up my car I am a server/bartender so I always have cash a lot of the times just 1s (I always have them divided in 50s tho) so I came in to pick up my car I give her my information and I’d then she asks for payment so I hand her the money all in 1s it was $300 ALREADY count and separated for them and the BIG BACK white lady says “uhh I’m not counting all these 1s I can’t accept that” I’m like “what do you mean why not? It’s already counted and separated” she said “I don’t care I’m not counting it” I said “okay ma’am I’ll count it for you, I don’t have anything else” she said “no go to the gas station and get bigger bills” I’m like “how am I supposed to get there if i don’t have my car” she then really said “you can walk” I called 911 they came to help and said they always have issues with this company, they tried talking to them for me asking if I could please just get it this one time and she said no she’s not taking 1s but she will take 5s, officers were definitely upset with me and on my side, they gave me the corporate number and TDLR
