We got estimated $140 for just 20min distance , after they arrived with my vehicle they didn’t let me have my car if I didn’t pay $400 . Not only that but my neighbor minded of the tow truck stepping over their property front yard Wouldn’t recommend! Worst of all

The absolute worst company.We were told on a follow up call that a tow truck driver would be arriving in 15 minutes We waited an additional hour and the rude person in their office kept hanging up on us after telling us they were going to have the driver call us, which he never did. No driver ever showed up and 5 Star cancelled the truck after we waited over an hour simply because we wanted to find out when the driver would arrive. Do not use this company!!!!

5 Star Towing really came through for me and my mom! I was so impressed. We needed a jump start and he was there in less than 10 minutes. He was patient and took the time to show us how to use cables on her car since the battery was hidden. He was very responsive too. It was just an over all great experience. I will definitely be using him and recommending him in the future any time we need help!

Moe was fantastic!! Stranded in DeSoto with my one year old, with a car with a locked emergency brake. Other tow shops said they couldn’t tow the car in that shape or wanted almost 50% more to do so. Moe didn’t hesitate. Got a good price, excellent service, and moreover he towed to Plano and stored until the next morning to drop it off at the dealer!!!

I have never written a review before like this, but just had to make sure to give a “5 star” rating for this company. I highly recommend Five Star to anyone in need of a tow or service they provide. Mo, one of the owners, was my driver and this was BY FAR the best experience I’ve ever had with a tow truck company. I expect to see this company take off in the near future because this type of customer service is unheard of. I called Mo in desperate need of a jump start to my car’s battery when I was stranded away from home. He was right on time, within 30 minutes just as he promised. When he arrived, we discovered my battery was not the problem. He loaded and delivered my car and me home rather than trying to haggle a few more dollars as I have e with other companies in the past. He was also careful with my car, unlike what I’ve seen from other tow truck companies in the past. The type of service and genuineness I experienced today is too rare to find and Mo and Five Star deserve your business. I can’t recommend them enough and would like to personally thank Mo for his kindness and professionalism if he reads this review.

Today my car would not start at the Kroger parking lot. I called Moe at Five Star Towing, he got to my car very fast and kept me up to date on his location. I was able to uber home and Moe took care of the rest. He was even nice enough to wait for the other cars to leave so he could tow my car safely! Great man and great company! thank you again Moe!!

I was on my way to work this morning and went into the convenience store to get some drinks for work, came out and my car wouldn’t start. I was alone and didn’t know what to do. I called Five Star Towing and Moe got back to me within minutes, he was so incredibly nice and helpful. Within one hour my car was towed safely to the shop, he even sent pictures of my car being towed safely. Best towing company and best service I have ever had. Thank you Moe. You saved me from a lot of grief and stress, I will recommend you to anyone in the future who may need towing help. :)

Moe helped me when my truck broke down on the side of the road. Literally within 30 seconds of my truck coming to a stop, he was backing his wrecker up to the truck. Completely professional, great story, awesome value. Exactly the opposite of what I expected from a towing experience, and I can say with full confidence that I don't need to look anywhere else when I need towing help in the future. I absolutely will be recommending him and keeping his card, and everyone else should do the same!!

I caught a flat tire on 635 east off exit 9a just a few minutes ago. While on the phone with Geico to set up road side assistance Moe saw my vehicle and pulled over to help me. I cant thank him enough for being so generous and stopping to help me. He fixed my flat tire in no time. Before i pulled off i had to write this review. A small act of kindness on his part completely changed my night. I would have had an estimated 2.5 hr wait time and would have been late picking up my kids had he not stopped. My son's car was broke down on the side of George Bush Turnpike. My roadside assistance contacted 5 Star Towing. Moe called to let me know he was close and to get exact directions to where we were at. He was on the scene exactly the time I was quoted he'd get there. My wife and I were on our way for a weekend camping trip when we became stranded along I-30. After 3 hours and our roadside assistance not showing up twice we called 5 Star Towing. Moe, although being on the way to pick up his child, went out of his way to go to his home to get the equipment needed to jump start our truck, called back to be sure of our exact location, gave the approximate time he would arrive and then delivered on all of it. He was very personable, extremely professional and charged a very reasonable rate. I would definitely call Five Star Towing again if I was in the area. He saved our trip!

Moe saved my day. I was on the way to work and had a blowout. Called many places prior to him saying at least an hour and half wait. Finally contacted him, he said he would be bout 40 mins away or so, he was there in less than 30 mins. He called me prior to pulling up to make sure I saw him coming and was just an excellent job done. He went above and beyond to take care of the job. We we’re nearly rear ended with the truck flashing lights, yelling out the window, tailgating for miles. will not let this go. called them and was told “call back” and continually hung up on. Five Star Towing Company gets 1 Star rating after leaving a family stranded on I35 Our experience with 5 Start Towing was absolutely abysmal. My son stopped for fuel at a Carrollton gas station, and his truck would not start after fueling. Our auto insurance provides roadside assistance, so he called-in the request. I went to the gas station to pick up my son and wait for the tow truck. We had notification from SafeCo that the tow truck was en route. The SafeCo message included a timer that indicated the tow truck's progress to our location. When the SafeCo timer showed 18 minutes, my son got a call from the driver, who explained that he was "just leaving and would be there in 30 minutes." We knew this was an approximate ETA. About 40 minutes after the call, we called the driver, but got no answer. We tried a few more times with the same result. Finally, we made a desperate call back to SafeCo. The SafeCo agent asked me to hold while he tried the driver, and came back shortly to explain that he too was not getting an answer. So, we stared All OVER. About an hour later, a truck from Chavez Towing arrived and transported my son's pickup to the garage. I couldn't be happier with the service from Chavez will be giving Chavez glowingly positive ratings today that Chavez much deserves. But for now... back to 5 Star Towing Company. We spent hours sitting on I35 waiting for the 5 Star Towing Driver to show up. He never did. However, it's a big city with lots a traffic, etc... so you give a driver benefit of doubt. However, the driver's no-show coupled with not simply answering multiple calls from my son and me is inexcusable. I've talked and texted with the driver today and made him aware of my feelings and used language that would not make my mother proud. What I thought I might hear from the driver or someone at 5 Star Towing is "I'm sorry" or "We're sorry". Instead, I got a laundry list of excuses. Here they are... #1: "I was with an old lady" - Yep, he said it. Driver said that he couldn't pick up the phone because he was with an old lady. He may have been helping an older woman, and that's great, but that kept him from answering calls from a customer that he knew was waiting?? Why not just answer and explain what's going on? That would have allowed us to call SafeCo back sooner and resolve the matter sooner. #2: "My phone never rang" - I sat in car and watched my son dial him twice and heard the driver's voice mail. I called him three times from my phone, and it went to voice mail all three times. SafeCo representative also calls him and it goes to voice mail. #3: The SafeCo service request was linked to my son's cell#. This one's a dooosie... the driver said to me that since it was my son's phone that was in the link to the SafeCo request that he automatically disregarded my calls. Ok... but why would he not answer the call from the SafeCo rep? It's SafeCo paying for the tow. #4: "I get 150 calls per hour" - Yep, he said it. For the record sports fans, that's a call every 0.4 seconds. Does anybody really buy that? #5: SafeCo cancelled the order. At some point, after it was obvious that 5 Star Towing Company failed and was never coming - and we got the best service from Chavez Towing - it's logical that the first order would be cancelled as a technical matter. However, excuse #5... the 5 Star Towing Company driver tells me that he didn't show up and wouldn't pick up his calls because SafeCo cancelled the call. NOTE: I talked with SafeCo in follow up to my conversation with 5 Star Towing. SafeCO says that the driver's claim that they cancelled the active call is absolutely incorrect. They only cancelled after 5 Star Towing Company would not answer their call and they confirmed that Chavez Towing was en route.
