I called this company, simply because they were the closest to me, so I hoped they would be here in a timely fashion. When speaking with the rep on the phone I told her I needed a motorcycle towed and she asked where the bike was located which is where I live and she said $279 without even asking me where it's going. Now I am within 2 miles of where this company allegedly is located. So I said the bike needs to be towed 6 miles to the dealership and it's $279?! I reluctantly agreed and the rep said the driver will call in an hour. So within the hour the driver shows up and didn't call. The truck that came didn't have the same name as the company I called, and the truck was very raggedy. We loaded up the bike. The driver asked where is this going?! So I told him and he said can I follow you? Luckly I was at home to drive over and show him, to be fair I planned on driving over there anyway. We get to the dealership, he rights up the receipt and starts writing $249 and how do I want to pay? I said I was told $279 and paid already! The driver said they told him $249. He gives me the receipt and leaves, at that time I get the charge notification for $298.53! I called the towing company and asked why is it $298.53 and she said it was a CC fee. So $20 dollars for a CC fee that was never disclosed. I think they broker out wrecker companies, or something. The whole thing felt wrong but I didn't listen to my gut. Long story short, DO NOT use this company ever! They have super sketchy business practices. I will say it again, DO NOT use this company.
I give For Alpha Towing 5 stars!! My car battery died so I panicked . I called 4 companies before Apha Tow Truck service the only company that I was blessed to get an answer from right away . Yared was my tow truck person . not only did he safely get my car towed to my home but he was kind and knowledgeable about my car issue . an A+ in my book. Thank You Thank You Thank You.
