I went to recycle cans today, Friday. Two ladies helped me and they were very nice. They explained everything to me and had a great attitude. I’ll be back soon and I recommend this place for its customer service.
This is the best place for all metal recycling. They offer several daily deals such as Taco Tuesdays and an extra $5 on Fridays. The staff is friendly and professional, and the facility is well organized.

First class experience from start to finish! Noticeably different from other scrap recycling yards. Very competitive pricing, friendly and professional staff throughout, and they bonus/gift first time customers. Highly recommend even if you have to drive a little further to get there.
This place is great. First, my first time in, I’ll be honest I expected a bit of a wait because it is a FCFS location, I was in and out in maybe 10min. Second, the staff is super friendly and helpful. I had no idea where to go or what to do and they not only helped me get to the right spot but they also helped me get the scrap out due to its weight. Third, after that they pointed me to the cash out window. I see a lot of other places say they’ll send you your money in the mail. (Which isn’t a law whoever told those places that is full of it.) These folks handed me an incredibly fair amount for my scrap in cash. They treated me like I was a regular. I’m going here for all my future recycling needs.
The people who work here are super friendly. I wasn't expecting much when I went to get rid of an old file cabinet and some pots and pans, but I went home with some cash and a T shit. They have Taco Tuesday and Hot dog Wednesday for their regular customers.
The team at Geomet are great. This was my first time here, and I had parked away from the collection area. An employee saw me driving to the wrong side, and he came in his golf car to show me the correct way. Then, everyone inside the collection area was so attentive and very courteous. Checkout was excellent. The lady that helped me was very thoughtful and helpful. I recommend this place to recycle your metals.
Very professional was in and out quick got payed good for my scrap metal would highly recommend. They have one of the best prices when it comes to scraping copper. Overall I’m very pleased with this recycling center.
In the past, my expectations for scrap yards were simple: walk in, walk out, and hope you didn’t feel like you’d been mugged. A reasonable payout felt like a bonus. Geomet completely flipped that experience on its head.
The staff is friendly, the yard is clean and organized, and they even do Taco Tuesdays and Hotdog Wednesdays. The cash incentives are solid, and the whole place just runs the way a scrap yard should. I’m a customer for life.

It was my first time at Geomet. I cleaned out my garage, found an old wheel, and decided to see what I could get for it opposed to setting it on the curb. Everyone was super nice from the time I pulled in all the way until I cashed out. I'm definitely going back if I need to get rid of any of the items on the list the young lady gave me before I left. Great experience!
This place is spacious unlike other scrap yards, very well organized and clean the customer service is superb, Sandra was very helpful on signing me up as a new customer and gave me a free t shirt and they have events going on Taco Tuesday, Hotdog Wednesday & get $5 extra on Fridays! Payout is top notch and honestly Customer Service for me win over my extra 5 mile drive.
Firs time customer here and found them from google map. The reviews don’t lie. It’s a huge lot, plenty of trucks & trailer going in & out, and a bit intimidating at first for individual recycler like me. But, every single employee there was very friendly, respectful, and professional. They explain to you where to go, how things work, how to get paid, etc. I highly recommend Geomet!
Just wanted to say thanks to Geomet and Sandra, the process was easy and customer friendly, I was looking to recycle some items and I talked with Sandra over the phone her customer service exceeded the professional experience and expectation not only over the phone but in person.

Hi everyone, I'm a truck driver and this is the second time I've come to this place to pick up a load of recyclable metal. I don't know if it's just me, but this place has made me wait too long compared to other recycling sites. I hope they change that. They're very clean and tidy inside, why are they so slow?( time is money)
Great spot. Great customer service by all areas (check in, scales, and office) and fair prices. Will definitely be back when I need a scrap yard again.
Great experience!! I called in first and spoke with Nick, he gave me the price over the phone and they kept their word. The guys in the yard were very helpful as well and the cashier was very friendly and professional. This will now be my only recycler. They even threw in a shirt and a hat and offer other things during the week.
