Went there at 9am for an emergency battery replacement on an '08 Ford Focus. Tomas stood outside, in the rain, and cracked jokes with me for what turned out to be a very frustrating battery swap.

I had the most amazing experience today with an employee by the name of Brian at the Live Oak location. I would like to genuinely say THANK YOU for helping me & explaining the process of something as simple as Freon but what a difference you made for me. I learned so much in so little time from you but not just about Freon BUT also on kindness. The world needs more BRIANS! Thank you!!! God Bless you!!!

They don’t even open on time, the employees are sitting outside in their cars, and it’s already 7:50 am on a Saturday 6/14. It’s unacceptable they walked in from the back, 20 minutes later the doors opened that’s 8:10 already. I walked in they hate the job, themselves and each other, untrained, unethical, unprofessional people. I been here about 5-6 times not one time I had an easy transaction, ohh i have a commercial account and I come in as a regular buyer.

I called in spoke with the Store Manager Ms. C who stated she could only assist with checking one time to see if the battery was under warranty. She stated I would have to come in for any more requests. I explained if the battery is dead how Sway . I just needed to confirm if the battery under warranty.

The negative reviews about the customer service here are absolutely true. When I walked in, no one greeted me. One of the employees, a Black woman, looked me directly in the face and rolled her eyes for no reason. They didn’t even bother to help me change my battery.
The day before, I came in around 4 PM, and Jeremy told me he couldn’t change my battery because it was “getting dark” even though it wasn’t. The laziness and lack of customer service were beyond unacceptable. On top of that, the woman with blonde hair and a gold wedding ring was incredibly rude.
I ended up driving 20 minutes to the Lancaster location, where I was helped within minutes—no runaround, no waiting, and I was actually greeted and treated fairly.
This location needs employees who actually want to work and take pride in their jobs. The way some women treat other women is truly disappointing. Understand that all customers should be treated the same. You never know who you’re servicing.Feb 20, 2025 -
I called ahead for a new battery (giving vehicle type and year) and was told they did installation but when I got my car jumped and came in person they refused installation. I drive a Hyundai nothing crazy

ZERO STARS IF I COULD! my mother came home crying, she is spanish speaking, SHE WAS TREATED LESS AND RECEIVED TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, it is truly INHUMANE to treat a human being less just because they do not speak the same language as you. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR from the manager and employee.

Walked in and 2 employees were standing at counter neither acknowledged me for several minutes. When one finally did he seemed annoyed I was there. I said I needed wiper blades for front and back he looks up front only and sends me to find them. Not saying I couldn’t but dang I thought you were there to help customers not carry on a conversation with a coworker and be rude.

The man who helped me was knowledgeable, diligent, & highly effective. I was completely satisfied with the solution he offered and walked out with what I needed. I will go back again.

be warned scammers here. I don’t know about all the employees but I do know the bald Hispanic employee likes to charge unsuspecting people for their free services like battery testing, etc. I caught him charging a young pregnant girl $20 to test her battery which is free. Even on the website its listed as free.

Richard “seemed” like a nice guy to everyone else but he was VERY nice nasty toward me. I noticed he was a great multitasker which was great for other customers but he continued to make me wait while assisting everyone else. I am a lady who knows nothing about cars and it was very frustrating that he made me feel like he didn’t care to help me because he felt I was being “animated” whatever that means. Regardless of whatever opinion he felt about me and my frustration shouldn’t have kept him from being kind and helpful rather than condescending and nice nasty. Yes, he greeted me and held the door and was great to other customers. This is solely based off of the way I was treated. I would have preferred for him to tell me to just leave, rather than to treat me that way. He doesn’t know what I experienced before I got there. His job is to be helpful regardless.

The manager, Richard was extremely helpful! He cleaned my daughter's battery to see if it was necessary to buy a new one rather than push an unnecessary sale! Grateful! Highly recommend this location.

Went to another auto parts store first but they did not have my battery in stock but if they had they were not going to be able to put it on for me so I came to O'reilly's they had the battery I needed and Jesus even put it on for me with no problem. Places need more people like Jesus he was very nice and did it so quick

This location is great. Women friendly. Black and Mexican safe. I truly had a great experience was very clean. The men had great customer service. I it plan to come here for all my needs. Don't care about the the service will have me coming .

The manager Richard is one of a kind. I was in from out of town for an event and my car wouldn't start due to a dead battery. The hotel parking lot was one mile away from the store and he delivered and installed the battery after I purchased the battery online. He came with a smile on his face and turned a frustrating situation into a positive experience. He seems to truly enjoy his job and wants to help people.

Great location. It’s my go-to whenever I need anything ordered quickly. Ana-Marie is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Our last order had a few minor issues, but she went above and beyond to ensure the issue was rectified and we were completely satisfied. She’s the best!

Richard the manager is awesome! He greets EVERYONE when they walk in, which sets the tone for a great experience. They didn’t have what I needed in stock, but he called other locations to get it delivered same day. He was so nice and friendly. Great at multitasking and making people feel welcome while also making sure everyone was taken care of. Came back later and Jesus rung me up. Thanks to both of these guys!

I had an amazing experience at O'Reilly's today and it's all due to Jesus!!
I came in with a dead battery and Jesus took great care of me. When I first walked into the store, there was only one other customer in the store. Jesus helped me figure out which battery was best for my car and while doing that, several other customers walked in the store. Knowing that he was going to install my battery, he asked if I could wait just a few minutes. I had absolutely no problem waiting because I know a lot of businesses are short staffed. I watched Jesus take care of each customer with care, professionalism and patience. I was so impressed, cuz things did get a little stressful. Once he was done tending to the customers, he installed my battery. He was kind and quick! You got yourself one hell of an employee! I also want to mention that the store is clean. Its terrible. There's a very shady "shade tree" (homeless) mechanic that's in O'Reilly's parking lot (live oak & carroll @Dallas, Tx) on a regular basis that "somewhat" partially repairs O'Reilly's customers vehicles, while peddling around the outside of their business location. His name is Robert C. Johnson. He now has his 2nd broken down car (red Eclipse) on their parking lot. He also normally rides a bicycle and usually do not have a regular phone but uses FB messenger on a daily basis to converse with this Oreillys and also Autozone nearby stores customers. I have a full 6min video with him at this vehicle where he's using profanity while working on their premises. And its believed that he also sleeps in his broken down car (red eclispe).
