Copart is getting worse and worse. The app I thought was to make things easier. Guess not. One copart you gave to go in even after they have all your info and anther you just have to check in on the app and go. How am I suppose to know which copart does right. Then I come to the one in Andrew’s TX and there is only one loader and one person behind the counter checking in drivers. I’ve been here a hour and still waiting. This is getting ridiculous.

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Sorryest auction in the world don’t buy from here

As a contracted towing provider with Copart in Florida, our company experienced retaliation and unfair treatment after raising legitimate concerns that their own contract allows. After we began filing complaints about unfair job distribution and favoritism, Copart representatives told us directly that we “complain too much” and that they “no longer wanted to work with us.” Following this, we were cut off from all work under the excuse of “no suitable trips,” while other towers continued to receive calls. Copart also interfered with our ability to perform a motor club assignment (Agero/Swoop) by making our driver’s vehicle release unnecessarily difficult, despite his ID already being on file. In addition, when we attempted to contract with the Clewiston Copart yard, communication started positively, then abruptly stopped — further blocking us from opportunities. I have already filed formal complaints with the BBB, the Florida Attorney General’s Office, and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regarding these practices. Copart Corporate has refused to address this issue, instead pushing it back to the same yard management responsible for the retaliation. This shows a clear pattern of retaliation, interference, and unfair business practices against small towers.

Terrible company if your insurance uses these people RUN! They will take a month to get your title settled I have been without a car waiting on a settlement for well over a month and nobody communicates at all no response to calls or texts extremely unprofessional I don’t understand how they are still in business. I guess because the insurance company has a contract with these guys because there customer service is non existent

Paid 100$ for a membership alone to be able to bid, then i bid on a car and was winning and today was the day it went for auction. an hour before it went up for auction they emailed me saying it went to another lot. the email also said “thanks for understanding” yet i don’t understand..

Copart inc handled a claim filed by the person who totaled our vehicle in ky through clearcover insurance. They requested the title from me and I sent the only one I had. It listed 2 lien holders. I told them we had paid off the first lienholder. They proceeded to pay $2500 to said first listed company, though I verified with my county clerk that the lien was no longer on the vehicle. They then instructed clearcover to pay me the remainder-which I used to make a down-payment on a replacement vehicle. Which i was soon to find out was a mistake. The second lienholder (the only one with an actual lien on the vehicle) was not paid. Now I'm in a situation where I am not only continuing to pay the 2nd lienholder as the claim was not enough to pay the total, I am also having to pay back clearcover (since they legally had to pay the lienholder) AND make the new car payment. This amounts to more than $1500 a month and is incredibly stressful on my family. What kind of title company can't verify a title?? It is literally what they are contracted for. My fault for thinking they knew what they were doing and maybe I'm an idiot but a kid totals my work vehicle and I needed a replacement. Not only should consumers reconsider working with copart but insurance companies should look into them as well.

Had scheduled with a third-party company, family car buyers to sell my car to them for $350, took weeks to get the paperwork through and then when we finally did, they kept giving me the run-around on getting a date scheduled. Once we finally got said date scheduled, the driver showed up 4 hours early, did not call as previously discussed, showed up drunk I tried to claim that the ground was too soft. The driver's name is diego. We had informed them that the pickup time needed to be between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. and this is the last day that we could do this, so we scheduled for today. We arrived at my friend's house at noon, so that we could be here at the proper time. We waited around for a couple of hours, call the company and let them know that we were there and that we were waiting and they said everything was going according to plan, but then 3:00 rolled around and we still haven't received a call. I went ahead and called the dispatchers back, then they proceeded to try and lie to me, telling me that the driver had supposedly showed up and had repeated supposedly again that the ground was too soft when I have literally been watching and a giant Amazon Prime box truck was able to make it down this road just fine without any issues. I was able to make it down the road just fine with my vehicle as well. When I called them out on the fact that their driver was lying, they told me I had to go talk to family car buyers again, was told we'd have to reschedule for friday, but fortunately, I received a call from andrew, who said that he was able to do the pickup today and that he did have the check with him. I was able to deposit it while he loaded up my car and he has fortunately redeemed the company in my eyes. Diego on the other hand, should be under some serious reviews, especially considering he was drunk at work, so they really might want to check his work visa. Thank you Andrew for being amazing! I'm so glad that you're going to take good care of my onyx.

COPART handle total loss claims for USAA. So, I spoke with USAA regarding the repairs, I was told that I had to use their source "Caliber Collision" to get an estimate. I asked, if I can used another Repair Shop instead of Caliber Collision. I was told, yes, I would need to go the Caliber first and get their estimate. USAA will review the estimate from Caliber, then I can take Caliber's estimate to the "Shop" of my choice. I asked, can I get an estimate from the Shop of my choice. I was told, NO! I would have to use caliber's estimate. I asked, what if the other Shop is less than Caliber's estimate. I was told, I would still need to use Caliber's estimate. Regardless if the other shop is less. Then, USAA would decide if the claim can be approved after they reviewed the estimate from Caliber Collision which was deem a total loss. $283.00 under the Threshold. Caliber's estimate $3,600...I received and email from USAA stating that the 2003 Jaguar 129K miles cannot be repaired, and USAA requested the vehicle deem "total loss." I am constantly getting these annoying emails from COPART, asking to sign the "Total Loss Packet" in order for them to close their claim. According to COPART, they cannot close the claim until they get the sign title. I don't think so! The vehicle is in pristine conditions, and I had the vehicle repaired, picked up on the 31st of March. Photos enclosed: The left fender "soft ball size damage with chipped paint around the impact." Second photo: Vehicle at Caliber Collision. Caliber disassembled the vehicle, and they took off parts off the driver side which they added in their ridiculous estimate. The damage was on the passenger left fender. They took the left headlight out and added an estimate $995.00 for one New headlight. I had just gotten the vehicle out of the shop the day prior to...I had the headlights repaired. That extra cost helped offset the "Threshold" so that the vehicle can be deem as "Total Loss." Last photos: Showing the vehicle pick up from "the body shop" of my choice. The cost to repair the vehicle was less than half the amount that Caliber estimated. That's why, USAA denied using another estimate. USAA/COPART wanted the vehicle. I am not going to continue the claim with USAA. The repairs were done out of pocket. I hope that COPART will acknowledge the cease and desist letter sent to them, or they will have this claim open for years to come. COPART...You're not going to get the Jaguar, so move on.

I paid $250 to renew my premier membership to bid on a truck I had on my list. When I went to join the auction, it said I need to upload my ID because the one on file expired. So I upload my new ID, same name, same everything other than a new expiration date. Then the system says my name changed and blocked me from bidding. So I call customer service to get this sorted out before the vehicle sells so I have a chance to buy it, they tell me I have to wait one business day. Can I speak to the verification team? No. Well, can I escalate this to a supervisor? No. Well, can I cancel my membership and refund my $250 that I just spent with you 10 minutes ago? No. What a joke of a company. If this was Mannheim or Adesa, a simple 5 minute phone call would’ve gotten this resolved and I would’ve been able to bid. So now I am on my way to the bank to stop the payment and then I will cancel my Copart account and never buy from them again. I will stick to Mannheim from now on. I don’t recommend anyone use Copart.

Buyer beware and stay away from Copart. They will advertise vehicles with a "clean title" but do your research. I was about to purchase a vehicle using the "Buy it Now," feature that was listed as "clear title" but upon further research, the title in fact was "scrapped" and the vehicle is unable to be titled in any other state. When I reached out to management, they were unwilling to assist at all. Thanks for nothing.

Customer service sucks. They won't let you talk to a supervisor or a manager. Their new system to upload ids is a joke. We've been doing business with them 6 years. And after the last 9 months not being able to bid because they won't fix their system. I canceled my membership today. The fees are astronomical with this auction company. If you buy a vehicle for a 1000 by the time you're out the door it's 2000. Definitely, would not recommend. And if copart is reading this, maybe your managers can contact people when they asked to be contacted and not be so anxious to help cancel a membership. If I could give negative stars for the review, I would

Class action sue needs to be taken for this company. Mess up the titles and won’t give duplicate. We all need to build a strong case and sue them.

If I could, I wouldn't give these scammers a star. They've had 7k dollars on hold for 6 months and they won't give it back to me because they're supposedly investigating the account and every day they tell me something different, that they're going to refund me and nothing. They don't even have an estimate of time for it. It's very frustrating. Think about it before negotiating with them.

High level of incompetence. Minus 999.99 stars. I used 2 debit cards to register, both got declined 4 times as a dealership. I called, again same story. Very shady. Finally I used Paypal. Then, they started to tell me that 2 state docs that I have are not government issued. Who knows maybe Mars can claim issuance! I wonder, who hires and traines these employees lives in another world? Can't seem to discerne dreams from reality or read a piece of paper.

bank transfer, i have spent the last 7 days trying to get in touch with the accounting department and it really is impossible, 3 calls a day with an average of one to two hours and no one answers, i send emails and still no one answers. i called their customer service and the only thing they can say is that it is in accounting that i have to call, it is really disappointing and frustrating this situation with copart. at copart no one knows anything or does anything for their buyers.

Terrible Customer Service. Licensing departement is terrible. It's impossible to talk to someone. I called like 5 days in a row. When they answer it's just a telemarketer who also can't talk to licensing . She can only send messages or emails to them. Nightmare just go with IAAI or Mannheim

Every vehicle I have purchased here has been a headache. Giving titles away to people I do not know and forcing me to pay for duplicates, giving me a rebuilt title after saying it was clean or giving an outdated junk title and insinuating that it’s my fault. All different locations all same issues. Greedy company that has not cared for me as a customer. I buy 300+ cars a year from other auctions. Ill continue purchasing vehicles that are NOT sold here

Fork lift drivers at copart in Bridgeton Missouri (Saint Louis) are taking their job to a new lowest low level. If they don't get good tip, they will be driving around you doing everything but load your truck. I just told one of them how obvious it is he is not loading my truck for three hours. Lack of management there is obvious. I propose Copart will include tips for their workers and charge 50/50 seller and buyer. Lack of shame these corporations have and I know they read these reviews. On the other hand I have heard they pay their staff lowest wages so perhaps expecting common sense from them is too much.

###Review of Copart Sales Rep Maria Davis I recently had a highly unpleasant experience with a Copart sales representative named Maria Davis. I had called to verify payments collected on a lot we have across different yards. Instead of receiving professional assistance, I was met with an extremely rude and unprofessional attitude. From the moment Maria answered the phone, she exhibited a bad attitude. When I asked a simple question—"Can you verify the two payments?"—she began yelling at me for no reason. It was baffling and completely unnecessary. Rather than addressing my straightforward inquiry, she kept repeating irrelevant information about the amount due at the yard, which was not my concern. My question was solely about the payments I had already submitted that the yard was unable to verify. Maria's behavior was unacceptable and uncalled for. Her inability to provide clear answers and her unprofessional demeanor reflect poorly on Copart's customer service. I understand that dealing with Copart can be challenging, but I urge future customers to steer clear of Maria Davis. Her lack of professionalism and courtesy is a significant red flag. No matter the circumstances, I strongly advise against dealing with her. Copart needs to address such behavior to prevent further damage to their reputation. This review serves as a caution to others—if you value respectful and professional service, avoid Maria Davis at all costs.

Requested a refund of a deposit over 90 days ago. Used live chat on the website for the initial contact and said I would receive the check in 30 days. Waited 30 days and contacted again. Said that the system showed it would be written in the next 30 days and suggested I email accounting directly. Emailed as suggested and no response. Called the number for accounting and waited on hold for an hour and then chose the option for a call back. No call back as well. Called back again and I was on hold for over an hour and chose the call back option. Guess what? No call back. It's been over 90 days since I requested my deposit back with no hope of ever receiving my unused money back or the ability to talk with anyone that could help. Update: After this review, I was contacted by a representative and they issued payment the same day. Just beware of deposit and the length of time it may take to be refunded.

Customer Service is the last thing on Coparts mind. I’ve been buying from them for many, many years and it amazes me how a multi-billion dollar company cannot figure out something simple like how to load their customers in a timely fashion. They don’t care that you’ve been waiting 4 hours to pick up your car even when you have an appointment. Stop hiring slugs and people that hate their jobs, or else you’ll just be pushing away your customers to buy elsewhere like IAAI. Very dissatisfied with the level of unprofessionalism. You would think a company like this would learn from their mistakes and try to fix the issue.

Been buying for years from this company witch have had several issues but still ok to buy, but this time I purchased a vehicle on Oct 27th 2023 from the Haslet TX location advertised as a 2023 Honda Pilot, well turns out it's a 2012 lot#73061863 and still shows up as a 2023. Went to the Loctation to arbitrate it and the General Manager Spence Long had the audacity to say in a very rude manner it was my mistake, that I could of checked the vin number. Yes I do understand that but some of us log in the day of the live auction and as a nation wide company they should not made this kind of mistakes (false advertising) as much as we pay for Fee's and services. Unfortunately they said it's my fault and I'm stuck with a vehicle that we overpaid on behalf of their unprofessional employees that can't do there job right so they did absolutely nothing to correct this mistake look twice or thing twice before you buy from here. Date of experience: October 27, 2023

CUSTOMER SERVICES IS HORRIBLE. Corporate offices need to know that their customer service is horrible. You cant get any direct answer for issues with an account. When you email them you get a different person every single time. Its is impossible to communicate and get a resolution in that way. They lock your account because some "form" is out of date. If you deal with 50 states then you need to know what forms are needed for which state. Provide that information when asked. Uploading a form onto the account is extremely frustrating because they dont provide you any correct forms. So you have to search and anticipate what they need as they dont tell you what they want. Then when you actually get a blank form from them to fill out they want you to include information for Copart on the form. Well if you want Coparts information on the form then provide it when you send the form to the member. In the meantime the account is frozen. Don't even get me started on fees, which keep going up and up and up. Now you have to buy 25 cars and also spend over $75,000 in a year to get any kind of small discount on fees. Yes, that's great if you run a huge operation, but what if you are a smaller buyer and buy 30 cars but dont spend $75K in a year on these cars, well then you pay the HIGHER fees! You should be allowed to meet one of the 2 criteria in order to get a discount on fees, not have to meet both! A $500 bid costs $900 by the time all the fees and charges are paid! Way to stick it to the little guy Copart!

Why can't I give 0 stars - horrible company - I called their customer service line twice the automation service hung up on me every time. Chat with a online rep. asking why I was not able to bid - "I did not put their name down as the supplier" Really - If you got the document - It was for you! When I questioned that you took my membership fee in March - I have not been able to bid - My membership should start when it is fully activated. I was automatically disconnect from the online chat - all correspondents were cleared from my screen and I was prompt to a survey. Please don't waste your time or money with this company go to IAAI - top notch company I promise you will be pleased!

Was a great place to purchase project cars but the customer service has gone into the toilet this past year. The new storage fees and scheduling a pickup makes it incredibly hard to get your car without incurring tacked on fees. Our last purchase left a bad taste. They need to make it easier not harder to get a car. Also train the phone customer service staff better so they don’t act like they were hired yesterday. Not sure if all the changes were made do to covid or to make more money on fees and storage but we’ll be pausing doing business with Copart for the foreseeable future.

The way this place is operating should be shameful to the brand. Putting in place trivial rules about pick up appointments that inhibit a person from receiving something they paid for is one thing but to have zero customer service in response is unacceptable. How can someone schedule a pick up through this company's shipping division and still have the driver turned away is astoundingly incompetent. To also have someone be charged fees during this is thievery at best and highly suspect. Get your act together this is a disgrace that diminishes the brand as a whole and should be addressed and corrected in haste!

I don't typically leave a review however my experience with Copart Graham (especially whoever answered the front desk phone) was the worst I've had. After asking her if I could be added to a schedule for a donation pick up (yes giving my car to them for free) she asked if it was parked in an area that was accessible from the front. I let her know that we have a truck that does not run parked in front of the vehicle and once I knew when a tow truck (or timeframe) a tow would arrive we would move the truck out of the way (since it was on a city street and the truck was acting as a place holder making sure no one would park there). She told me that I wouldn't be able to get on the schedule until the truck was moved. We went back and forth for a while and she made it very CLEAR (with a follow up all caps email) that she would not add me to the pick up schedule. Come Monday afternoon, without ANY warning or scheduling confirmation from Copart, the tow truck driver called saying he was about 45 min away to pick up my car....well since I was not notified and she had said she wouldn't add me to the schedule the broke down truck had not been moved. My husband had to rush home from work to help me push the truck out of the way so the tow truck would be able to access the car. (I'd like to mention that the tow truck driver was the nicest most amazing dude, and was so understanding. I don't think they are affiliated with Copart) Anyways, just don't do business with Copart in Graham if you don't want a headache, worst customer service all around. Rudest front desk lady ever.

Sold my totaled truck to them for a pretty decent price. They picked up, towed and are doing the title transfer for free so I'm saving a few hundred. Worked with Jason Knight who was a relief to talk to because the 5 other c.s. reps I had spoken with from different companies were all rude and insensitive. Jason was a pleasure. Gonna miss my truck but I'm able to place a down payment on a new truck now.

Been dealing with copart for 30 years. They constantly up there fees and all of a sudden change a business account to a consumer account. Send them our dealer license and they say they can't change it back. Who the hell does business like that to a business that has purchased hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of cars from them. If an account is listed as a business for 30 years it's not going to change on the 31st year. They just want to get triple the fees.
