We were having diesel engine trouble and stopped at Hill’s. We had 8 hours left on our trip home to Houston and the Team went above and beyond to get us up and running. They even stayed after hours to make sure the job was done right! Can’t thank them enough, best customer service around.

Thank you! Hill’s went above and beyond when our RV blew a tire in the middle of nowhere and our roadside assistance program failed us miserably. They towed us, found a replacement tire and sent us on our way. Jeremy Hill is a good man!

My transmission line ruptured and all fluid drained out while traveling to utah and pulling a trailer. Hills motors towed my truck and trailer to their shop 20 miles way. They diagnosed my problem and repaired my car with in 1 business day. They didnt over charge and got me back on the road. I made it back to utah without any problems my transmission is working great now. I highly recommend this place!

They saved our road trip! Towed us back in to town and switched out our alternator very quickly. The whole staff was friendly and we felt at home while we were waiting. I would recommend them to anyone, very happy with the service.

I recently picked up one of my vehicles in Fort Worth as I previously moved to NM and could only tow another vehicle and drive a U-Haul initially. Upon my 2nd trip through Childress and fueling up my truck, I noticed I had begun losing oil pressure, which at first gave me a heart attack and confused me like none other. I was still about 800 miles from my destination. First place I chose to call was Hill’s motors towing. After explaining the symptoms and the fact I still had plenty oil in the engine, we deduced it was an oil pressure sensor. Took a little while to get done but then again I was technically a walk in as the other people with reservations got their first turn. Always good to give yourself extra time. Anyways, that issue was fixed though we also realized there was a small leak from the water pump. If you’re reading this though, I still made it all the way home with no other issues as Hill’s Motors team helped me and informed me well of what was necessary to fix and what will be good with a bit of extra observation. Thank you guys!

Coming into Childress my GMC duramax started running pretty rough. No way we were making it home like this. After my second phone call I found this shop. They diagnosed the truck immediately in the parking lot, knew the problem right away, had the part in stock. He had me disconnect my trailer and pull it into the shop within minutes of arriving. They had a mechanic on it immediately and got me back on the road in less than 2 hours. The price of the repair was far less than I was expecting. What a great shop. If you’re needing anything don’t hesitate to take your vehicle there. Amazing.

Referred to Hill's Motor by an employee at O'Reilly Auto Parts when the battery light came on a long drive back to Houston from Amarillo. Mechanic at Hill's checked the Jeep out and couldn't find anything wrong. They let the engine run for about 30 minutes. When it was time to get back on the road we asked, "How much do we owe you?" to which he replied, "Give me whatever you want." I'm reading it's a family owned business with great reviews. Seems clear that the great reviews are accurate. They could've charged us a lot or could've fabricated a whole host of fake repairs, but they didn't. They were honest and did the right thing. I highly recommend Hill's Motor in Childress, Tx.

On the way home to Dallas from Colorado, our van was side-swiped by a semi on Hwy 287, and ended up totaled in the median ditch. The police called Jeremy, and he came to tow the van as well as give my wife, my dog, and I a ride into Childress. He was kind enough to loan us a truck to go get a replacement vehicle to load up our belongings and continue the trip home. His act of kindness was just what we needed being in the bind we were in. The driver who came to our aid was kind and accommodating; due to limited space, I had to ride in the truck bed, but he ensured I was comfortable and safe throughout the journey. Upon arrival at our destination, a torrential downpour greeted us, soaking both the driver and my husband. Despite the adverse weather conditions, the driver maintained professionalism and didn't complain about getting wet. Wow! Best customer service, towing and auto repair service ever. I can’t say enough good things about the owner Jeremy and his team at Hill Motor in Childress, Texas. My husband and I were traveling back home to East Texas after a visit in Borger, Texas and our water pump went out on our Jeep Grand Cherokee. We were in between small towns and didn’t know who to call that could help us as we sat on the side of the road. The next town up was Childress, Texas and I googled car dealerships and auto repair and luckily Hill Motor came up first. I called and spoke with Jeremy and found out not only could they repair our SUV but they also have a Towing service. The tow truck was a little further out so Jeremy drove 25 minutes to pick us up where we didn’t have to sit on the side of the road much longer. He took us back to his repair shop where we could stay until the tow was completed. They diagnosed our issue and made all the repairs very quickly for us so we could get back on the road home. Please, if you are ever in the area of Childress, Texas and need a tow or auto repair, call Hill Motor and you will not be disappointed.

While on a long road trip, I had an unexpected car issue come up as I was driving through Childress. The guys at Hills Motors couldn't have been nicer. Driving from Fort Worth to Colorado our vehicle broke down near Childress town. We found this mechanic shop on Google. I’m very satisfied with their service ! They helped us towed our vehicle to their shop and repaired it. They were very helpful and straight to the point. God continue blessing their business because they are truly a blessing serving the public. My family and I were safe and back on the road thanks to them !!!

We were passing through a few weeks ago as we were moving across country with a loaded down horse trailer with four horses. We broke down in town and Jeremy immediately came to our rescue. He got our truck to his shop and helped us get our horses and trailer safely to the event center where we stayed for several days while they worked on the truck. The people in Childress were all amazing! Everyone wanted to make sure that we were ok, had a safe place for our horses, and were well taken care of. We can’t thank Jeremy and the entire community enough for their kindness and hospitality. 12/10 recommend breaking down here.

This is going to be a long review so bare with me. We were on our way back from our 4th of July trip and was passing by Childress around 6 in the morning when our excursion broke down. Called hill's and got an answer within the 2nd ring, told him what had happened and said "I'm on my way". I called him a second time because I had forgotten to mention that I was hauling my travel trailer and his response was "I gotcha". After hooking it up and asking me for the title lol he took me into town dropped off my trailer at his yard and took me to this shop. Got it diagnosed within minutes and my transmission was out. They quickly started looking for a replacement with me in the office so I can hear all the conversation without any hidden charges and was able to find one but it wasn't going to be in town till 5 days later. This is where the southern hospitality kicks in. He told me he would move us around town if we needed a ride, he would leave the trailer at his yard OR move it to a trailer park and get me hooked up if I was planning on staying and would make sure my stay would be as comfortable as can be because I had my entire family with me. We didn't end staying because we had to get back to work but left with a calm feeling knowing my truck was in good hands. We came back when we were told it would be ready and drove back home with it no problems what do ever. I can't thank these guys enough for what they did for us, they promised and they delivered. And for that every time I pass by there I will be stopping by just to say "hey". BTW your number has been save to my phone and will be calling you from time to time just to see how you doing!

I was on a trip from DFW area to Idaho during extreme hot weather & my air conditioner wouldn't work. I stopped in Childress, TX & called Hills Motors. They had me bring my Class B RV over immediately. They found the ac hose had a hole in and needed to order the part. It took a few days for the part to come in but they stayed in touch. As soon as it was there they started to work on it and got me back on the road. The owner, Jeremy & his crew of mechanics are not only pleasant & caring but very skilled at what they do! I highly recommend them as the go to place for mechanical vehicle issues. With their sense of humor & their kindness, they turned a very stressful time into a much easier situation to deal with. Thanks to all of them I'm back on the road again!

Driving at high speed from Dallas to our home in New Mexico, we were cruising northbound on 287 thru Quanah, Texas....about 30 miles south of Childress. All of a sudden the whole Jeep Grand Cherokee began slowing down and the dash lit up with alarms: Check 4 wheel drive system, ABS alarm, traction control, electronic stability alarms also. We pulled to a rest stop and heard crunchy sounds coming from the Jeep. Not good. I called AAA road service and they dispatched Hill's Motors Towing and Repair from Childress. The nice tow truck driver Colton took us to Childress and dropped us off at the Super 8 motel. We ended up staying 4 days unexpectaly in Childress, but everyone in town we met were very friendly and there is a beautiful park with a lake to walk around. The next morning Jeremy from Hill's Motors called and said we needed a new CV axle half shaft on the right rear. After calling his contacts, Jeremy located a CV axle at RockAuto. He had them overnight it to Hill's and they had it installed the next day. Did I mention the repair cost was very fair. Thank you so much Hill's Motors for getting us back home for Easter!!! Colton, Jeremy, and Nathan....thank you guys sooooo much!

I cannot begin to describe the level of professionalism and service these guys offered. I had issues in Childress (halfway to Colorado for a race trip) and they rearranged the days schedule to get us in. Not only did they troubleshoot and perform the repairs fully, they didn't charge me enough for the repair. As a service manager myself, it has shown that there are still a few of us out there with the customers best interest at heart. To Jeremy, Cory, and the rest of the crew at Hill's, I owe my entire trip. God bless these fine folks!!

Broke down 40 mi from town with our RV. Jeremy walked us through what to do for us to drive in safely. He was very concerned about our progress and safety. The next morning we went to his shop and he put his other workload aside to take care of our issue and was very fairly priced. It was a pleasure and breath of fresh air to deal with Jeremy and his staff. Everyone was very professional and courteous. We were back on the road by 11:00 am. We HIGHLY recommend Hill’s Motors Towing and Repair.

While traveling from DFW to the Grand Canyon, experienced some serious heat. We thought "Uh oh, not the air cconditioning!". Fortunately, we happened to be on the East side of Childress, TX and wouldn't you know it, there was Hills Motors. Jeremy and his profesional staff of mechanics were able to easily diagnose the problem, provide a solution, and get us on our way to our family vacation, the Grand canyon!
