We were driving from Amarillo to Austin and caught a chip in the windshield an hour into our drive. We didn’t want it to get worse, so we stopped in to this store. The salespeople were fantastic. They knew exactly where the windshield repair kit was, explained how to use it, and assured us that it was a fix we could easily do. Spent $20 on the kit and it saved us the almost $300 that a windshield replacement would’ve cost. I doubt I’ll be in Childress again, but if I am and my car has trouble, I’ll know where to go.

Outstanding customer service! My truck broke down (power steering pump hose failure), and the staff member (Ephraim?) found the part quickly, helped me find the Mercon V ATF, gave me a ride back to the gas station where I had broken down. I was back up and running in an hour, about 40 minutes faster than if I had to walk back to the truck. Ephraim was really friendly and helpful, and it seems like Childress is a great town to have a breakdown in (if you have to have one :)

For the Best Service and auto parts store near me, go to O’Reilly auto parts in Childress. My U-Haul was missing wiper blades, and when I finally came out of the storm I found O’Reillys. I wish I had the gentleman’s name who came out with the blades on for me and help me up and running and minutes. He made sure I didn’t overspend on the blades, forgot me something to weather, the storm in Colorado. Great service, goes the extra mile totally five stars. This place is better off being automated, employees here are just lazy, they don't do any kind of testing for you, but they'll let you borrow their equipment. I called other stores in the region, and they doing all the free testing including obd testing!
The employees are great and super friendly. They always have everything I need and are very quick to help figure out any issues. Also, the manager Austin, is super attractive so thats always a plus going in there!
My husband and I stopped and got plugs for our F450 on our trek cross country pulling our 31 ft. 5th wheel, they were really friendly and offered us a spot in their lot to do the work. We ended up having some of the new plugs burn up 20 miles down the road. We made it in to a little roadside picnic area where we called the store (which was near closing time on a Friday night) and these guys were amazing. Thank you Mark for going above and beyond to bring us a replacement as we sat dead on the roadside.
this place always has what I need. So if you're at a loss and you need something stop by and ask them and the representatives will get you your product. And if they can't they will tell you where you can get it.
They acted like they didn't know how to do anything. Kept calling for manager to help. Then had coupon and he didn't no how to use it so I wasn't able to use the discount.
Car stalled and ran rough driving DFW to Amarillo. Stopped in here and a nice employee named Bruno checked my battery and alternator. Cleaned off some corrosion and checked car for codes. I really appreciated it!!
I'd give six stars if I could. Friendly conversation, good advice, and very knowledgeable. Thanks, Danny and co! They were beyond helpful when our tow dropped us and our uhaul trailer there when we broke down while driving to Colorado. They came out and looked under the hood real quick and gave us the parts and tools we needed. Even the phone call we placed to them beforehand was efficient and helpful.
