Went to start my car at 4:00 pm and the battery was dead. In order to change the battery, you have to remove the front wheel. My normal place to take my car to couldn’t get me in until the next morning. I was left scrambling to find someone to work me in before closing time. Midas in College Station was happy to do it. I appreciate Eric working me in and he was extremely courteous. I would go back!!

My daughter went to a local university named repair shop for an alignment and after a horrible experience we left and went to Midas. We were treated wonderfully by store manager Matthew Dedon. We had a long drive the following day and he took great care of us! I would recommend this location with five stars!

Great bunch of guys, friendly and professional. They actually tell you what is wrong with vehicle and will show you what is going bad if you ask to see how bad it is unlike other shops been to that just trying getting you to replace things that aren’t wrong. I’ll definitely be coming back for future repairs

They are overpriced and don't know much... Go to Houston, with so much competition and fair pricing. Need a transmission flush. The guy said $200+ went to Conroe Woodlands area...guy would charge me $69.99 at A1 transmission

I arrived an hour early for my appointment, I just finished errands early. They took me right in for an oil change. I had a coupon which saved me $10. Very courteous and thorough. The mechanic even explained a few things to watch for.

Matt was a top tier help today. Talk about someone knowledgeable of their craft, he knew everything from prices to time estimates, to what the best course of action was. I came in with a tire that was slowly leaking over time, he helped me find the problem for free, got me a price and time estimate immediately just off the top of his head knew it and then got to work and seems like he did a great job. Coming to auto shops is always a scary thing sometimes being worried about getting scammed or not taken care of well but I would trust Matt with my car anyday.

I recently had my brake fluid and rear brake pads replaced, and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. I first visited the shop on Friday to get an estimate, and Mathew was the one who assisted me. He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I appreciated that he wasn’t pushy at all and provided a fair quote. I mentioned that I wanted to check with other places before deciding, and when I called him the next morning, he was able to squeeze me in right away. The entire service was completed in less than three hours, and now I feel confident knowing my vehicle is safe to drive. Great customer service and efficiency, I highly recommend them!

Came in for a regular oil change couple years ago; I wanted to see if they had synthetic. The wonderful lady at the counter said yes. She also said they'll change to synthetic and offer me the Midas Touch. I declined the second offer as I was Social Distancing but it was appreciated! 5/5 recommended!

Typically don’t leave reviews, but the service I had here was great. Matthew working at the front always has a great attitude and makes me feel very welcomed every time I come in. I will be coming here for any and all of my automotive needs in the future.

Was pleasantly surprised by such great service from the team at Midas. Joe was on point and kept me informed of any and all issues he encountered during my appointment. Professional and remarkable engagement with the client allowed for timely service and even better results. My recommendation goes beyond human interaction, because the service in itself was better than great and the advice alone was important for future maintenance on the vehicle. Honestly, Midas should be everyone's go to spot for an annual inspection at the very least or an oil change, you won't regret it.

Was having problems with my car, so I called and explained my issues. The guy INSISTED it was my alternator even though I said it wasn't that because it was just changed and brand new. They took my car. 'Fixed' it 3 days later. Gave me the keys. And what do you know. It doesn't start. I walked back in and said hey, you fixed my car but it doesn't start. Did you even turn it on? He said no, we push rolled it out. So that was 900$. They 'fixed' it again for a 'discounted' 300$. And my car still didn't run. They're literally only good for the oil change coupon you get in the mail. A bunch of middle-school dropouts who barely achieved a GED, if that. They deserve a lawsuit from anyone who can afford it.

I have been taking my pickup here for the two years I've been in town. Prices are good; customer service is great. Best of all, they are trustworthy. Matt and his team are awesome. He is always attentive, courteous and knows customers by name and sight. His team is efficient and I've never had any complaints about their work. Even in the times when the team has found unexpected issues with my older (2008) vehicle, I've never felt pressured or cornered to act on their findings. When I've had questions about potentially needed parts or services, Matt's answers have always been informative and helpful. No hard sells here. I've had bad experiences in the past with shops where the guys seem to think they can get away with lying to their female customers or badgering them into expensive, unnecessary work. I have enough spotty mechanical knowledge and car work experience to have recognized a couple times when mechanics were bald-faced lying to me. When my partner and I moved here, I was cautious about that with this shop (as I would be with any new place) but I went with it because of its good ratings and convenient hours. All my experiences here with Matt and his team have inspired nothing but trust and that has kept me coming back for all my pickup's needs I can't do myself.

good service with a minor error (oil change and some inspections) I have ordered oil change with some inspections. The quality of work is great and customer service is good. The staff looks respectful to the customers. The total time is around 1 hr 20min( 20min waiting and 1hr service time) with online reservation. It was approximately 1 pm on a weekday. So I think their service is quick enough. The minor issue is that the oil changed was synthetic blend instead of FULL synthetic. On web site form, I clearly wrote "FULL synthetic" but I might say just "synthetic" in the shop, and unfortunately the staff did not check it mean blend synthetic or full synthetic. Since my car does not require FULL synthetic, it is a minor error. He apologized gently and promised small amount of discount for the next time. I have felt it is professional, and it is enough to compensate this minor error. I will use this service again.

Could not be more impressed with this shop. Matthew was very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely responsive. I needed new front rotors and brakes. The local dealership's pricing was ridiculous. I received quotes from other repair shops and stopped by this Midas location on the way home. I was pleasantly surprised with the competitive pricing at Midas and they started the work immediately. I watched the technician and was very impressed with his work ethic. Often I see other shop's technicians checking phones and chatting it up with co-workers but not here; it was all business and they even beat their time estimate. Also, the owner followed up with me to ensure the work went well. You can't ask for better service. Keep up the great work by both management and technicians. I will be returning in the future!

I have an old 2002 Grand Prix. I needed a brakes and AC repair. The work was just done less than 2 weeks ago and I've already driven that car all the way to the top of Colorado and back twice. I could tell you stopping straight and stopping strong is no longer an issue for my car and with the lifetime guarantee and their best rotors and pads is an issue I never expect to be concerned about ever again. The AC worked great but apparently as they had noted was going to be possible when I picked it up, the clutch does appear to be bad. They were happy to honor the warranty of the work they had done to my AC to reduce my overall expense for a new compressor. That is fair, but over the years I have noticed running trucking companies and running the wheels off of four wheelers almost all reputable repair shops seem to want to insist on all the additional parts of the AC system being changed along with the compressor. I know there is a standard answer reason for that, but I guess the only place I would differ with Midas is that I've had multiple compressors changed over the decades and I've never had an issue with not changing all the other parts along with the compressor which do drastically increase the cost of that repair. However of course I'm not in the business of changing AC compressors and I don't change them every day like this gigantic chain across the country does. So more than likely statistically they're probably correct about that. Other than that, they get right to it, and you have again a huge national chain we all know and trust in most small large cities across the country all standing at the ready to take care of any warranty issue. That's a great comfort to me because I run the wheels off of my vehicles traveling all over the US. I will add also that the general manager himself offered to immediately pull the car in and initiate that repair for the AC as I had told him I needed it the next day to drive some 65 miles or so to a funeral and brand new expensive clothes that I really didn't want to have to sweat in. Luckily the next day it was very cool and I had no problem, but it's worth noting that though I may disagree a little bit with the idea of changing all those extra parts, the manager heard that it was a fairly critical issue and needed to be taken care of right away as it was at the end of the business day he immediately offered to get it in progress and see to it that it got finished himself. Sometimes paying what may be considered a slightly premium price is worth it in efficient and overall service done right. Conclusion: you'll get exactly what you need and you can be assured the work will be backed up by professionals that really do know what they're doing and seriously care about their business and you as the customer.
