This place is horrible. We had a old pole barn and stalls that we cut up an put a load on the tralier. Got there today just for them to trun me away because apparently there was Radiation in the pipe. AN THERE WAS NOT. Also there yard is to small. Well never go back.
Never open even though the signs says they are. They do not answer the phone, poor customer service, I strongly recommend going to Giddings those guys are great
I love this place the worker here always are in a good mood they always have a smile on their face and are very professional and knowledgeable on their metal! Will always pick this scrap yard over any other!
After we ain't worked all day running of the trailer the internet said they were open but they were closed we were very disappointed .that's wrong to do people like that
This place is ridiculous I've never seen people get ripped off so bad and all my life y'all need to go the extra distance to take your scrap and Austin or anywhere else but here because they are taking people's money so badly it's sad
I took some aluminum and copper in. They gave me the money for the aluminum and tried to get away without paying me for the copper, but I didn't let them. They finally agreed they owed me for the copper and I got the money for the copper. The amount of copper was way more than the aluminum.
They quote one price over the phone then they rip you off when you go there. Quoted me $.34 a pound and only paid $.24 when I got ther . Liers and rip offs stay away from them. There a RIP off place. I take my business to all American off 812 now.
Horrible, i brought 260lbs of aluminum an walked away with 36 bucks, they weighed it all together and counted it as breakage, I'm so mad i might actually see what legal action i could possibly take coz I got robbed
Why even have business hours posted if you won't be open? I understand their prices are low but it's a convenience thing, ok I get it. What is not a convenience is when you have the trailer loaded and make it out there on a Saturday at 10:30am (open until 12pm according to website) and they are closed..... This is the last time, I waste time, on these guys.
What is the point of posting your hours of business? Not only are the hours on Google incorrect, but the sign out front says that you close at 430. We arrived at 415 and the gate was closed. Someone was obviously working in the shop but refused to open. We thought you closed at 5 because those are the hours posted online. What an incredible inconvenience for us. We spent time loading the trailer, attaching it, driving over, etc....
Cleaned out the barn and this was the closest place so I took it there. I don't have any idea if the prices are good or not because I don't regularly do this, but I felt good that my junk was going to get recycled and I put like a hundred bucks in my pocket. The great thing was it was actually totally worth it just for the experience! They had the big magnet that looked like it could have picked up my truck and the huge claw working together pulling stuff out of my trailer. They were very pleasant and friendly and had it unloaded for me in like 5 minutes. I'm hoping I get enough together when I clean out my shed to take my grandson with me because I felt like a little kid myself watching it.
Got through quickly, but they don't pay but 30 cents a pound for aluminum cans year round when I always got at least 50 cents down near Houston. This is the closest place to go so they don't need to pay much.
Do not take your metal here. The prices are extremely low. They also quoted me the wrong price over the phone. Already had me unloaded before they told me the real price. Do not take your metal here !
