  Alanis Wrecker Service is AWESOME!!!!!! They went above and beyond their service. Amber (dispatcher) was sooo nice, courteous and patient with me. And Jerry my tow truck driver is a magician at maneuvering in a packed parking lot and THE MOST PATIENT person I've met in a really long time. I appreciate everything they did for me.   Great and quick service for towing. They are very professional. I believe Vinny is the driver who helped me out, thank you so much. Even the dispatcher was incredibly kind. They also offered very reasonable pricing, and my truck was well taken care of. Completely recommend if you need a towing service.

  I understand that this towing service typically contracts with the City of San Antonio to take vehicles to the impound lot overseen by SAPD. My interaction with this service is only through the knowledge that a single resident in San Antonio had their vehicle impounded after suffering a medical emergency. Through coordination with a City Council Office the resident not only had the fees waived to retrieve their vehicle but Alaniz towing brought the resident's vehicle back to their home since their vehicle would not start. The City of San Antonio helped ensure that a victim was not re-victimized and Alaniz towing helped a resident safely get their vehicle back home which is not what they typically do. They also did this free of charge perhaps due to the terrible weather (it was raining and cold and windy which would make travel unsafe even for skilled drivers or vehicles of high standard). It sounds like good people still exist and some of them work at Alaniz towing.

  Wish can give this place negative stars but one of the worst toll truckers service ever! Was waiting for 2 hours and thats fine but the worst part is they charged me 50 more bucks bc apparently the location is wrong. My guy the location was a 2 min drive and you guys are so miserably sad to charge that much. The driver left because I was yelling at his employee bc you cant handle yelling? Take your job seriously like she was not professional in either way

  Worst experience ever ! I had my work vehicle towed from my driveway and there were damages left , I then called the owner and he promised to get back with me . It's been 2 weeks and I keep calling and speaking with an Amber that has the worst attitude. It's just back and forth with them with no clear solution. Alanis Wrecker does not want to own up to their mistake in damaging my driveway. Not even an apology. I definitely do not recommend anyone call them for their business, unless you want damages done on your property that you won't get fixed .

  I recently called Alanis Wrecker Service. I needed to get a quote and their customer service agent was polite, quick and handled everything fast. I did call a couple other wrecker places prior to Alanis but each company was quoting me more for a longer pick up time so Alanis was the clearest best option for me to choose, seeing that they got a wrecker truck to us within the hour. Excellent service and great staff overall!

  Horrible place. Thieves hiding behind the illusion of a legitimately ran business and there isn't one thing anyone can do about it. When I checked out the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations web site for information it states in order to get your car out of impound you need to prove ownership or that you have the owners permission by providing ONE of the following... One of the things listed is , an insurance card listing your name as a covered driver another option is presenting them with the official title to the car whether or not your name is listed on the front or back of the title. Yet when I called this place they say my name has to be on the title stating I'm the owner. I'm not even going to get into the details as to why the title isn't in my name it's pointless when it states that that is not a requirement. Getting my car out benefits me not them so they make it as difficult as possible for you to do so so the car could be there's in thirty days and they now get to sale it and keep everything in it as well. The whole reason they have my car in the first place is bc I was pulled over along with another person in my vehicle. At some point I was pulled out of the vehicle , the other person was left unsupervised for 20 plus minutes. By the time the cops turned they're attention to the other individual what do you know theres a small bag of drugs sitting right on top of my make up box that was already open. I was arrested and car was towed the other person walked. I was kept in county jail for about six hours or so until they came and got me and released me due to the DA rejecting the case. Unbelievable.

  My truck broke down, and I've always used Alanis in the past. I haven't used them in 10 years. Still had number in my cellphone saved. Called them up, they quickly answered and dispatched a flatbed tow truck my way. The price was absolutely awesome considering it was a tow from 410 Bandera all the way to 4 miles east of Castroville. Great service, even tho my troka is old and beat up, the driver treated it like it was a Cadillac. Awesome service, highly satisfied.

  We used Alanis today to take my daughter’s car to the dealer for a repair. My daughter’s car is low to the ground and Rick, the truck operator was very careful with our car which my daughter loves. He was not only on time but he was early. My brother highly recommended them as the company he works for uses Alanis for their needs. When I made the reservation I asked the person taking my call to email me a receipt and she did it as soon as the services were completed. We will definitely use Alanis from now on. Thank you!

  Joel went above and beyond. My vehicle was stolen and impounded at their lot. He took the time to do Google searches and find my contact information. Without it, I would not have been able to retrieve my truck as timely as I did. It would’ve cost me a ton of money and shut down my construction operation. Thank you.

  Boy, you don't really want to hear what I generally think of tow truck operators, but this one is one of the few exceptions. It was clearly not going to be a day when anything went my way when I awoke and tripped over something and busted my knee in a way that would leave a grown semi mature man crying. Then when my radiator decided it was actually an oil rig from another life, I needed a towing service to take her to the closest car hospital. Mark showed up and it was a most pleasant experience. A+ all around. Car arrived safely and Mark made an annoying situation into a pleasant experience. What more can you ask for?

  Girlfriends car had starter die and I needed a truck to come out ASAP and take to repair shop. Every single experience I had with every person involved was excellent. Jennifer, the call center person was so sweet and so helpful in finding a driver to come out and assist me. The driver Fernando, also so excellent to work with. He towed up the car and took it to the repair shop quick without any hiccups. This was the best tow company I have ever worked with and if you ever need a truck to come out and help with you stranded or needing a tow, I would highly recommend them. Thank you Alanis!

  Rick is awesome! We own an automotive performance shop in town and he has transported a couple cars for us. Recently we had a project that was difficult to get onto the trailer. Rick was patient and helpful as we tried to find a solution. Eventually he helped us find a way to get the car on the bed and safely transport it. All for a great price compared to other towing quotes we received. Very happy with the service provided and we will be using Alanis again in the future.

  I don't think there's another towing service I would ever use in the last two years we've used them 3-4 times. Every time I call for a tow the lady in the office is awesome. The drivers are always so awesome and genuinely care. They always ask of you're ok. I've used other towing companies before and no one's customer service even comes close.

  I called for my truck to be towed from a garage where some work had been done, to my house. 14 mile tow. I talked to Denise, was nice, got the address and gave me a quote, then called back to let me know the driver was on his way. Then Rick (Driver) called to let me know he was on his way and called when he got there. Rick dropped it where I wanted it. All done within an hour or so. Price was a little more than I wanted to pay, but acceptable. Overall pleased with my Experience. Thanks Y'all!

  Because of the whole pandemic thing, I can’t leave the local area and I needed to get my car fixed, and there was no where in town that was able to get me in thanks to a hail storm that took out half the city’s cars. This meant getting it towed from Del Rio to San Antonio. After the auto shop scheduled the tow for me, the dispatcher called to confirm the address and asked if I was available that day. I wasn’t, I had only just gotten the insurance stuff handled. She asked what time the next day would work. I asked for the earliest time, she said 9. Awesome. I’d have enough time to get a rental and go to work. I got a call at 8 in the morning, confirming the address. She said the driver would be leaving San Antonio shortly. I said I thought I had been scheduled for 9. She said well he still has to drive there, and it’s a 2.5-3 hour drive. I wasn’t in the mood to argue so instead I called my boss and let him know I wasn’t going to be in today. When he did arrive at 1215, he said that the dispatcher hadn’t even told him until 0840 that morning to come get my car. He said if he had known I was scheduled for 9 he’d have left San Antonio at 6. He was given a 20 minute notice and it is an almost 3 hour drive. He was extremely kind and it was in no way his fault. I truly appreciated his professionalism and how friendly he was. But I am extremely displeased with the organization and communication in that office. I missed a day of work because they could not communicate effectively and I could not get a rental and get to work until my car was picked up.

  Don’t Waste your Time and Money!! Terrible Customer Service from Office Staff. If could give Zero for office customer service I would. Only good thing was the drivers friendliness. Went through approximate 3 hour ordeal, even with a specific appointment time set up for them to pick up vehicle that was rear ended and totaled in a accident. They arrived hour and half after set time. Tow truck they sent out couldn’t tow vehicle realizing they needed a flat bed, another hour went by before flat bed finally arrived. I certainly could have used another tow company as they were all in the area but gave them the opportunity, when they finally dropped car off, I called and asked for discount due to the ridiculous wait time of their lateness to set time and them not having the right truck for the job. When asked for discount the initial young lady gave a me a reduced price by $15 and said just tell driver, told her he already left and told me to ask you guys as you run the credit card info she then says left me ask my Supervisor, came back said sorry it’s the original price as the driver already left, and wrote price on invoice. Spoke to her Supervisor; she couldn’t care less and literally blamed me for them not having the right truck, Said, had you told us it was not drivable then we would’ve sent the right truck. I asked her, don’t you think being in this business that should be a basic question you should ask when taking any call in order to make that determination as a business? She relented with a eventual slap in the face $5 discount. Really!!? I don’t recommend just due to poor customer service from office and dispatch. Again to be fair to any business, this was my personal experience with them.

Seriously, a really hot guy who had this killer smile ever so gently scooped up and delivered my wounded baby via a spacious roomy and safe looking flat bed to get some attention.   They did respond in an hour which is acceptable. But the girl that answered my call was so rude! Questioning my knowledge of the make of my own vehicle?!! When she finally figured out she was wrong, she never apologized. She continued taking my order with a sacastic attitude. Wow! If it wasn’t that I was desperate to get my vehicle towed I would have just hung up on her. The driver was awesome and helpful but this business has to do something about the answering service. Complete turn off.

  So today I got stranded on the high way with my elderly father, my first thought was calling a tow service to move the car out of the way, being that we were right next to the fast lane.. I called and after maybe 45 minutes Gilbert Martinez shows up and he did an explendid job assisting us. I have to say I was amazed of how helpful he was. He helped get my father out of the car and into another vehicle. I give this company a thumbs up and highly recommend it. And by the way the price was not bad at all. I will definitely keep this number on my phone in case I need it again.

  Rude customer service! I spoke with the dispatcher who seemed like she wasn't paying attention to me or did not really care because I had to repeat myself to her 2-3 times repeatedly throughout the call. The dispatcher told me the driver was right next to her as she took my info and would arrive in approximately 30 minutes. After 40 minutes passed, I called and spoke with the same female dispatcher who sounded confused and did not know who I was. I asked for an updated ETA for the driver and she told me to hold on and without warning I got transferred to a voice mail. I immediately called back, this time an older male answered the phone. I asked to speak to whichever female was there, that we had gotten disconnected but he insisted on helping me. I explained who I was and that I now I have been waiting 45 minutes on an original ETA of 30 minutes and asked for an updated ETA. He told me "I don't know Sir, maybe 30-40 minutes". I told him, I was unhappy because the timeframe just doubled and he did not even check with the driver for an updated ETA. The man said "I don't know what to tell you, we have multiple calls and bad traffic and we cannot force traffic to let us through (in a sarcastic tone). I told the man, I have a GPS on my phone that includes all that information and asked if he could check with the driver for an updated ETA, he said he could not give me any additional information, we argued back and force for 10 minutes but did not resolve anything. The only reason I gave this company 2 stars was because the driver [military vet (included for identification] was extremely professional, knowledgeable and took care of me and my vehicle. This company has great drivers but needs to reevaluate their dispatch process and telephone service.

  Melinda was very nice and extremely helpful (which is more than I can say for the other places I called). Melinda had a guy by the name of JD at my location within 30 minutes. JD was also incredibly helpful. Their fee was very affordable. I will definitely be calling these guys again!
